If you guys do not see the improvement in this team then you are smoking something bad. Against Wolves, we missed a number of chances other than the penalty, would that penalty alone would have gone in, you will not be writing all this.

Against Palace, another penalty, a referee who was there just for taking the p! ss, on another day Cahill would have been sent off, two errors leading to goals, our CB are new to each other and this happens when you start playing with a new partner. DDG should never have been beaten on his near post but again sh! t happens. If that Rashford Penalty had gone in, you again will be praising the team for resiliance.

Look at the Passing stats for this season Pogba leads with 242 passes, followed by Viktor and Harry at 228 and 226 passes. 4/ 8 players in those passing stats are our players.

Most passes? United tops the charts with 1670 passes.

We have scored goals in every match and have 3 different scorers already.

I have not expected this team to win PL this season but this season will be a work in progress. 3/ 3 signings so far are gelling very very well.

Harry, James, Wan Bissaka all look right at home. The goals we have conceded are a result of either our own mistakes or by pressing too much, we can't press overly in our own half. That the team will learn eventually.

Again if Pogba's and Rashford's penalty had got in, it will be rosy rosy here. But then again I am sure some of you lot would have found another scapegoat to blame. How would you survive without Lingard, Shaw (Player's player of the year. )

You're wasting your time mate, people have made their minds up already.

I have no issue with people arguing their point of view and outlining why they think we are poor, or should sack the Manager, or should aell x or y. It's the knee jerk reaction tions and the emotional outbursts that frustrate me. We have a shape, we have a style, we have 3 great new players. Anyone who thought we would be immediately challenging was being far too optimistic.

PF if we are going to talk about ifs and buts then Chelsea should never have lost 4-0 in the first game, we were lucky to go in leading at half time as had they taken all the chances they created it would have been an easy chelsea win.

The same goes for the wolves match or are we going to ignore the luck we got with them hitting the post when ddg was clearly beaten.

We had great passing and possession stats under LvG, i remember people calling it boring, James has looked anything but right at home, he was mostly rubbish against wolves and barring the good finish ineffectual against palace, he is clearly trying but shouldn't be anywhere near starting position. Wan Bissaka has been a rock at the back but very iffy going forward. It was Maguire who played Palace player onside.

Also the whole we conceded due to our mistakes, is this suppose to be an excuse for OGS? how do you think we earned the penalties or do the opposition managers plan and instruct their players to give away pens?

We hadn't lost to Palace in league since 1989, a record even moyes failed to break. OGS now has won just 3 of his last 15 games. We have sold our forward and ;et our only decent midfielder outside of pogba leave on a free and replaced them with no one, basically leaving us short in midfield and attack. So yes I do fail to see the improvement.

100% agree. If we scored both our penalties then we would likely have 9 points from 3 games.

These things happen. I think our fans raise expectations very quickly. No one expected us to challenge this year, everyone felt we are a couple of years away from challenging. Everyone believed that we needed at least a RW and a No.10 in the summer and possibly another midfielder to replace Pogba. Everyone agreed without these players we would struggle.

Then suddenly we beat Chelsea 4-0 opening day and we are title challengers again.

A week later we come back down to earth and suddenly Ole isn't getting enough out of the players or he is mismanaging them as we aren't top of the league.

It's ridiculous.

Shappy you said, suddenly ole isn't good enough, people on here have been saying that since he took over.

If your aunt had a moustache she would be your uncle. Keep saying if this and that and keep justifying this crap and we might find ourselves in a bigger hole.

{Ed007's Note - You've obviously never met my Aunt Grace.}

Shappy never knew that expecting your team to beat Crystal Palace at Home meant you also expected to fight for the title.

I agree with Programmer Fan, which is not to say we are likely to improve much from here.

Against CP we created enough chances to win. We should have had a second penalty when Martial was pulled down. It was 100% clear.

Our main failure is an inability total any advantage from dead ball situations: PKs, free kicks around the box, and corners.

70% possession and 22 shots on goal compared to 30% and 4 shots on goal.

We did everything but put the ball in the net. Plus there are arguements that Palace should have had Cahill sent off and we should have been awarded a second penalty for the foul on Martial.

We were just unlucky.

Did the possibility occur to you when analysing these passing stats that tottenham and manchester city have played one less game than us?

One stat that will give you an accurate guage of this team and their struggles breaking down low blocks would be looking at the chances created stats at the end of this game week.

That's right Shappy, even I go in to a match always thinking that we are going to smash the opponents. But then all of the teams have improved and they know how to exploit other teams weakness.

I can see us going for a midfielder in January. If possible, a striker in henrik larsson mould.

I am very happy with the summer acquisitions and I really believe that Ole will get it right soon.

We have been unlucky for the last 6 years. 😂😂There will come a time where luck will not be an sufficient excuse.

How many of those 22 shots were on target and how many of them were by Rashford who took a shot from his home. There GK hardly made a save.
