I’ve finally had enough of site sad to say. The live chat is just appalling. Okay the team isn’t doing well and fair to say that Ole might be out of his depth. But to read insults toward Ole such ‘get the bum out and back to his village in Norway’ and suchlike. To read some suggesting they want the team to lose in order to hasten the sacking of the manager is simply appalling. I’ve been a United supporter for 50+ years through bad worse and better and I’ve no desire to be associated with such @€^%! &’s. Enough is enough for me so. bye.

Well said Scooby, sometimes it is horrible on there.

It's an echo chamber, mate. Where angry men go to rant with other like- minded men.

3.) 02 Nov 2019

Why does every poster need to make a song and dance about leaving? There's one poster on the live chat that takes it too far on occasion. But seriously, you're a grown person. "Get the bum back to his village in Norway" made your monical fall out?

The amount of time, money, energy every fan has put into supporting this team and you're upset because fans aren't happy? This is the worst team we've had in 30 years, with a manager that is clearly out of his depth, with owners that are using us like a personal ATM and you're leaving the site because someone slagged our manager?

Noucamp, what's the weather like up there on your high horse? I was in the chat and I'm certainly not an angry man and I wasn't conversing with angry men.

If you can watch that match and have no qualms about how we played or grievances with our manager towards tactics and substitutions. If you're happy to watch to highest paid Manchester United in it's history turn out insipid performances like That, and not get upset? Then what's the point in supporting a football team?

Scooby, where is your leaving party mate, I'll drop in for a pint?

02 Nov 2019 15:12:20
By the end of today the angriest man on the planet was calling for the Saudi regime to make half our squad ‘disappear’.

At this point I think the live chat is probably a lost cause.

{Ed047's Note - surely you guys just let that stuff wash over you

5.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 15:16:05
I’m partial to a bit of angry ranting Ed047, but I do worry about the lad. Can’t be much fun getting that worked up twice a week.

{Ed047's Note - I know Danny I’m regularly on your live chat and he does got mad and I’m like chill mate.

6.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 15:16:13
The only way to sort this issue out is to lower your expectations for this season. We are going to get th3 occasional few games that we win and then all of the sudden everyone is positive and then when we lose we are going to get reactions like today.

Just chill out as this team is poor and wait for the change to happen or see where we end up at the end of the season rather then getting worked up by people's comments and people you don't even know.

7.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 15:33:07
Mumbles you're taking it far too seriously fella, if a poor football result gets you this worked up. You do know us wailing and shouting will make absolutely no difference to anything whatsoever? Total waste of energy.

8.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 15:37:52
Surely one can leave without announcing to the world.

{Ed047's Note - to not have a party is a little rude too 😉

9.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 15:48:53
Agree Mumbles. Some people make a song and dance because somebody said somehow they don’t like. Grow a pair for god’s sake, your just like most of our players gutless.

10.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 15:49:30
How am I taking it far too seriously? Again with the "holier than thou" attitude Noucamp. I havnt had an account banned on this website unlike you. That would be "taking it too seriously".

We win, I'm happy, we lose, I'm not happy. I'll still get up for work on Monday, the sun will still set in a couple of hours. But God forbid fans show some emotion without being told "there's more important things life". Its a football website. Fans come here to bitch moan and support their teams.

11.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 16:03:14
Hey! Only the best get banned, it’s a pretty exclusive club.

As for Scooby, perhaps he wanted us to know how bad he thinks it is, I have no problem with that. I was on for the first half but as soon as they scored it was a neg fest so I left. Last year I was called a c*&£ on the live chat, it can get pretty dire. The problem with the live chat is that it is immediate emotional outpourings and therefore some people, and 1 in particular spew out nonsense.

We’ve lost some long standing respected posters lately and there was a lot of squabbling which is a shame as we all want the same thing. I took a break as it was doing my head in and I am trying to post less (Shappy, just a thought) . I’m also going to try and be considered in what I post and how I respond to others. Red Man and I have a good craic, we actually share the same position, it’s just his is a little more strident and impatient than mine. So, back to Scooby, maybe he’s the thin edge of the wedge, maybe the more considered posters are thinking why bother?

12.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 16:07:38
I love supporting a rubbish football team, I have found it very liberating after years of worry, tension and nailbiting over matches I now found myself in a situation where I expect them to lose every week, if they don't it's a bonus.

13.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 16:08:12
Mumbles, you have no idea why I got banned. I can assure you, it had nothing to do with taking things too seriously. Be in the possession of the facts before trying to score cheap points.

{Ed047's Note - I cant believe you did get banned Nou.

14.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 16:15:43
I learnt a very important lesson, Ed047. Don't try and argue with Ed002 😁.

{Ed047's Note - ahh yep not a great move, I said something on the Liverpool page the other along the lines of who said that load of garbage only to be told it was ed02!

😱 luckily I don’t think he saw it 😂

15.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 16:17:08
If people want to take a break from the site, then fair enough. I've done it on a couple of occassions. But why the need for the big 'I'm leaving' announcement?
And more to the point, why let the mad ranting not one OTT, immature ranting child on the live chat drive you away?

Just ignore the nonsense and converse with the ones you want to. People are too easily offended these days.

16.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 16:20:00
Alright Noucamp. I apologise mate. Obviously I don't know all the facts.

17.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 16:22:01
Agree Ed47. I wouldn't mind a pint along with a scooby snack 😁😂.

{Ed047's Note - always up for snacks Shan! 😂

18.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 16:25:47
Yeah what's all this with all the great leaving announcements. just leave, no big song and dance. It's a joke.

19.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 16:31:59
Mumbles, like I said on the live chat, long day. Apologies for the grumpiness.

20.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 16:49:13
Have they left then What time is the next episode of "Mufc get me out of hereeeeeeee"

21.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 16:50:39
Did we lose😁.

{Ed047's Note - what ever gave you that impression

22.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 16:57:39
Cause every week we lose we seem to have a going away party,
Boys we are all grown men I think,
Its like what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, what happens on live chat should stay on live chat.
I'm upset but I'm not leaving👍.

{Ed047's Note - it is a little tragic because you could simply not post for a few weeks then pop in and see how it’s going.

23.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 17:10:52
I'm only staying to annoy Red Man 😁.

{Ed047's Note - 😂😂

24.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 17:15:48
Nou

Couldn’t reply on live chat but did see what you had to do today, sorry to hear that.

All

There is one on live chat who loses it and it does go too far but it isn’t a reason to stamp feet and leave.

To be frank I think the Ole appointment and ongoing situation is now highly divisive for the whole fan base, it is pulling us all apart. He was an emotional sentimental choice which is tugging at heartstrings, it is going to be tough to sack him because of who he is. There are emotional outbursts from ex United pundits making it worse, they are not separating logic with their feelings for Ole, the man. The emotion of the fans is affecting everyone’s opinion, making us all be more angry either defending or attacking him.

Personally I will be glad when we can take the emotion out of the managerial role and can discuss it sensibly. If we look at it logically, it is 7 wins in 28 and without starting a new argument that for any manager is totally unacceptable.

25.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 17:33:37
Mumbles, agree totally with your original reply. Nothing wrong with critisizing if the team or manager are under performing. It is human nature.
We all have different views, so if people don't like what they read then they are free to leave. I don't like the know it all and sarcasm that comes from some of the posters, but I choose to ignore their posts and read the other posts.
The team will lose and win, and there's nothing wrong with giving them grief when they lose, and applaude when the win.
I think you got your post spot on Mumbles.

26.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 17:37:53
Deep down I think we all know that Ole is on borrowed time and unless there is a massive turn around he will be gone before the season has ended.

Personally I feel that Ole is in an impossible situation, I genuinely believe that we are unmanageable as a club at the moment and that no manager will be able to turn us around.

I first started supporting the club during the Ron Atkinson years when we were known more as a cup team than a league team. I suspect that we are back to those days and will not challenge for the league for many a year.

27.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 17:38:47
Red Man. That's exactly why he was appointed. Any other manager with that record would have been long gone. The ones that support him are doing so through pure loyalty. No one gets joy out of seeing him out of his depth, but he has to go. His legacy from 99 will not be tarnished. When the dust settles, it will simply be he was out of his depth.

28.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 17:59:40
That's a fair point redman if the stats you quote are correct it's pretty hard to defend . 13 points from 11 games this season is really poor . I was always hopeful the table would sort itself out and the bigger sides would rise but the sheer number of losses we have already suffered means our points haul could well be within a lot of teams range . We have no Devine rite to be at the top end of the table just because we are man utd but we should expect to be higher as we have big advantages over most teams with finances,

29.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 18:52:47
Im not leaving but i would like to announce that i am retiring from international football with immediate effect. i'm going to dedicate more time to my club Manchester United .
Thanks 😁😁.

{Ed047's Note - well done you, always good to see someone take one for the team! 👌👈😉

30.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 19:43:08
No problem, Red Man. It really isn't personal, fella. I agree with you on a lot of things that have come up over the years since I've been on here, to be fair. Like I said, bad day. Better I took it out on here, than wait til I got home 😁.

31.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 20:04:49
Nou go home a take a good, sorry nou I can't find the emoji for rubbish, it worked the last live chat you wee on, lighten the load 😕.

33.) 02 Nov 2019
02 Nov 2019 21:15:00
Nou

Don’t worry I know, it would be a dull site if all we did was agree with each other 24/ 7. I have been to funerals of a few friends and colleagues recently and I am worried I won’t see my beloved club win the league again in my lifetime. I am not impatient but I am frustrated that many don’t see the dangers we face, based on experience of the past.

I wish to announce that I am not leaving the site, they will have to carry me out.

{Ed007's Note - Bunch of fargan sweetie wives!

Wow its only a game fellas.
People can say and post what they like within reason.
If you disagree then make your own point.
Personally i don't think jamie is that angry a chap in fact i'd say he is at home pissing himself laughing as he posts as everyone gets their knickers in a twist reacting to him.
The live chat is full of instant emotional reactions to every spilt second of the game. I personally think its great craic.
Our team is fairly crap our squad is really crap our manager is crap our results are crap. Its ok to say that if its what you think. Its ok to say it everyday too imo.
Some find it a hard read and i understand that. I found it a hard read on the shaw and jose debates and discussions for example.
If folk take a break its usually only for a short time. I've never felt the need.
Just remember there is no one way to support any team. All opinions are welcome but they are also open to disagreement.
Its easy to get the needle and easy to be reactive but when all is said and done its only a game.
Cheer up its only 60 sleeps till the next transfer window🙂🙂
Anything between 10 and 30 more sleeps till we get our next manager i'm guessing.
