A week left and doesn't seem we are going to sign anyone. It's going to be a tough ride and nobody knows where we will end up.

All this nonsense of supporting Ole seems a farce just like with any previous managers. There seems to be a pattern emerging with every manager since Sir Alex:

1. Get a new manager
2. Get a few signings in to appease fans
3. When the team is exposed for it's lack of quality
4. Noises about more incomings
5. End of the window, no more signings with appropriate excuses
6. More bad results
7. Mr. Woodward finds the perfect excuse of poor performances to fire the manager
8. A shiny new manager comes in with more noises of optimism

And the cycle continues.

Ole seems to be in the same queue now and awaiting his fate and soon we might have our next new messiah.

The club don't want to sack OGS, they also seem reluctant to back him.

Back him or Sack him, there's no middle ground here. Talk again this morning of 5-6 signings over next 2 windows with the likes of maddison/ van der beek mentioned. If you believe that you'll believe anything. Even if that is our PLAN why would those players come to us? young players want a platform to their display their talent, we currently aren't that.

The club know they should remove him, loathe to do so but realise that they should. Tbf Ole will always be a legend for this club but he's not the right manager which means the club will have to go back on what it would like to do and re hire. Problem is the structure of the club, recruitment, negotiation etc is also wrong so seems to be why we are in this endless cycle, it seems almost irrelevant who the manager is at present but unfortunately we do need a better class of management and ideally a Campos or alike in place with them.
