So, finally we will get our man. With little time left for other deals and last couple of years Woodward showed us that he can't close deals fast, can any of the Eds tell me are loan deals more easily to be completed or they need equal time like buying deal? And do we have time to complete a deal or just enough for doing loans?

Loan deals tend to be quicker to sort out as there is significantly less to negotiate. That said it doesn't mean we will bring anyone else in.

they might have been negotiating other deals at the same time shappy? Doubt it will come to anything but heres hoping? DoF would be a major bonus if filled.

Maybe Cookyman, yet sadly I doubt it. The club have said they only intended to look at deals for long term targets. Most of them won't be available in January. Bruno is the one who was available.

I could see maybe a loan deal for a forward player as a response to Rashfords injury. As a short term fix.

However, if you have a decent striker who's scoring goals for you why would you want to lose them mid season on loan. You might be able to justify selling them if your club needs the cash. But a loan makes no sense.

I think the best we could hope for would be to sign someone like Alcacer from Dortmund or Jovic from Real Madrid. Good players who for one reason or another aren't getting minutes.

Agree Shappy but there's hope . Dof would be a positive move giving hope moving forward but regarding a loan deal would put the polish lad at ac milan in the ring. Loan with option to buy wouldn't be a bad move at the fees quoted; allegedly dortmund and spurs are circling atm though.
