I have seen a few tidbits today suggesting Manchester United would do well to consider Louis Suarez as a potential signing. pundit gossip of course, and he isn't the main area the club needs to strengthen. Yes he caused all kinds of negativity for Liverpool once he had decided he wanted out. But if there is a selection of players available from Barca, I certainly wouldn't mind um, a bite at Suarez, Rakitic, Pique etc.

Only one I'd prefer from Barcelona is Frenkie De Jong.

They will have a tough job replacing Suarez, Messi, Pique, Rakitic etc, .

I wouldn't touch Suarez with a barge pole. He abused one of our players. While he used to be a top player, his knees look shot and he will struggle to play consistently in a top league.

There are only a few players from Barcelona I would consider signing. Ter Stegen (although we don't need a keeper), De Jong, Lenglet and Fati.

Messi if he was good value or a few years younger. But at 33 and with a package that would supposedly be close to 500m (wages, bonuses and fees included) I just don't see the value.

Would 100% take Umiti and Rakitic as Umiti is (In my view) better than what we have at the minute and Rakitic, albeit for a short period, would strengthen us. Would not want Suarez at all, never forget what happened with Evra by Suarez.

Pigeon, Rakitic is not a personality I'd want at our club. He has some shocking views which make him come across as a throughly unpleasant person. While Umtiti would only be useful if we sold all our injury prone players and needed someone to keep the physios company.

Neither are good enough for Barcelona and we should be aiming to be at least equal if not better than Barcelona.

Suarez is a no for me, great player but a disgusting human, he's been done for certain comments and biting people don't forget.
