Hi Ed002

I have had another listen to the Sharkopod and there is noting mentioned about a RB for MU, are MU looking at any RB or is the plan to use Dalot more next season with Ashley Young?

Thanks.

Believable0 0Unbelievable

{Ed002's Note - I agree that they will likely need a RB with a good chance Darmian and Valencia will be moving on. I am not aware of their declaring any interest in anyone at this time.}

Thank for the reply.

There’s a real shortage of quality fullbacks in world football these days. I’d be hard pushed to name a player I’d want to come in, maybe Meunier would be the best and most realistic option.

Joshua Kimmich not a bad player!

Wan Bissaka? kept TFM out of the Palace team last year.

20 Feb 2019 20:00:38
The very same TFM that can’t get a game For Fulham.

Agree with Kimmich, he looks a great player good going forward and defending.

Ed002 how are you, Ed I was just wandering have man United any interest in joao felix.

Believable0 0Unbelievable

16 Feb 2019 21:39:28
I don't think 002 Is talking to me😎
Anyway he is a good one for the future, would look good with the young talent we will have coming through in the next few years.

Agree0 0Disagree

{Ed002's Note - I missed this sorry. Manchester United remain keen on an embarrassing number of JM targets and yes Felix I’d one.}

16 Feb 2019 22:28:30
Cheers Ed,

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}

16 Feb 2019 23:50:46
Why would it be embarrassing? Surely they paid JM to make such recommendations would seem to mad to disregard his input as he a top level coach and football manager.

Agree0 0Disagree

{Ed002's Note - It is embarrassing as the club gave him little support and are now making a joke of themselves chasing after the targets he identified.}

17 Feb 2019 09:38:10
I see your point but think Jose made it so hard for people to back him it makes sense too.

Agree0 1Disagree

17 Feb 2019 01:43:29
Surely just because JM happened to agree with many other pundits scouts and supporters on some of the best talent around in world football doesn’t mean that they are looking to pursue ‘his’ targets after firing him. There are more opinions than JM’s and it is possible for those opinions to be the same?
Felix is supposedly one of the best young talents in Europe so why would United not be interested, regardless of what JM thought?

Agree0 0Disagree

{Ed002's Note - It was not him agreeing with pundits, scouts and supporters - his interest in him went back a very long way. The club failed to give him support yet are now looking at his targets. Embarrassing is the word.}

18 Feb 2019 19:01:20
Mourinho could have had as much support as he wanted yet he still wouldn’t have won anything. No longer anywhere near the top of the game and and too arrogant to change his ways.

Agree4 2Disagree

18 Feb 2019 20:08:38
Have to disagree panne. He hadnt the support he needed and i g3nuinely believe he will win major honours again.

And fyi. i consider the europa a win for jose, its a vup we hadne ever wone before as well.

If you have the time Ed002, which clubs are interested in Jadon Sancho? Rumours of United 'lining up a move'.

Believable0 0Unbelievable

{Ed002's Note - Right now no one is interested as he is not for sale. In confirming Manchester City's option when asked this week Watzke also said there has been no approach for the player who is not for sale. When he left MC at least Spurs, Manchester United and Arsenal expressed an interest but he had his heart set on Dortmund that was in 2017.}

16 Feb 2019 16:25:46
Hardly a word about it till Dortmund came to town.
Complete fabrication i'd say.
Scholes. Just watch between now and the end of the season how often united are linked with players playing in any high profile game.
The easiest way to get clicks and readers is to link united with a player.

Agree1 0Disagree

16 Feb 2019 19:56:11
I assume he still has a few years worth of development at dortmund left.

They have already agreed to sell pulisic to chelsea in the summer so no pressure on dortmund to sell him.

Spending x y and z on high profile players has left us wanting and not getting value for money so to speak.

Sometimes I think to myself, we would of been better off buying players who are premiership proven and don't cost too much. The high price tag and expectations really seem to knock our players wind out,

Jose holobas, Ryan Fraser, idrissa Gueya, Raul jimenez and Ben Mee.

These players could easily do better than some players at MUFC and cost far less than most recent signings.

Believable1 13Unbelievable

17 Feb 2019 17:00:29
Disagree but fail to give your opinion.

I suppose our players are the best in their position yes? Holobas and Raul Jimenez have been playing with heart for the their team and manager ALL SEASON. Idrissa Gueya stats are all higher than NM go check it out Ryan Frasier has been a stand out midfielder for AFC Bournemouth ad Ben Mee is a left centre ex MC player head and shoulders above Jones at left centre.

So state your disagreement.

Hi Ed's

I was just wondering if there is anything new on the futures of DDG Pogba and Sanchez?

Many thanks.

Believable0 0Unbelievable

{Ed002's Note - Juventus remain interested in Pogba. If Sanchez were to leave it would need MU to pay most of his wages for a while. Right now it looks like DDG will stay at leaset another year but the two options are PSG and possibly Juventus. The PSG option will continue if Buffon takes up the one year option.}

14 Feb 2019 12:47:23
Thanks Ed.

Sanchez really has to go, but not if it means us paying his wage. I’d hope a Chinese club starts to circle.

15 Feb 2019 13:19:54
What does it matter if we pay part of his wage?

Agree0 0Disagree

15 Feb 2019 17:06:48
It means that he isn’t off the books and the money isn’t free to use elsewhere. Why would you pay for a player to not be in your squad?

Agree0 0Disagree

15 Feb 2019 21:42:36
Simple fresh he has a contract. We are in to him for 50m plus. He won't walk away without being paid off or without getting the same or the likes of that money from his new club.
With his form so bad its high investment and we are paying miles over the top.
Its the issue we face and the reason we can't shift squad players.

16 Feb 2019 09:28:34
I'm confused as to how how might know that fresh.

When you allow the players to determine who they play for and who they don’t there is always potential for anarchy.

But that's he culture that Chelsea have created Red man and I think it's too far gone now to be reversed in the modern game.

I’m not undermining the role of any manager by what I’m about to say, if anything it’s quite the opposite. Tactics is obviously vital in football, but ultimately what makes a good manager is the way he manages players and staff.

You could be the greatest tactician but if you have zero rapport with the players it’s just not going to work. What Ole has done is taken clearly talented players to play to the fullest potential, to make everything optimistic but most importantly he’s taken the modern football ego, the ego so on display during Jose’s rein and made them (dare I say it ) almost humble hardworking footballers who now seem happy and grafters more interested in the team than themselves.

I don’t believe anyone thinks that OGS is the greatest manager to grace this earth, he’s a down to earth guy, loves the club and has installed that man united mentality.

I’m astonished by how well he’s done. I watched the game earlier and although there is always room for improvement, I just couldn’t believe how much talent we actually have on the pitch . I don’t think I’ve appreciated the quality of players we’ve had for a very long time.

I’m not going to single out names, but every single player is a better version of themselves since Ole took the reins. I personally think that whether he stays or goes, he has become the much needed bridge between Alex Ferguson and our future. Absolutely delighted to feel like our club again.

Saw G. Neville interview Ole before the match over the weekend and asked what the secret was over the last 6 weeks to transforming Utd having us play such good football. Ole replied that there is no secret just
1. You have to enjoy yourself
2. You have to have good players who can express themselves.
After these 2 then come the tactical bits but play forward, run forward, be clinical in front of goal, no secrets just work hard and stay together as a team.

Hi Ed, how have you been this year so far? I was wondering if there is any United interest in Ndombele?

Believable0 0Unbelievable

{Ed002's Note - Manchester United has, through a third party, spoken to his representatives to see if there would be interest, but others are already talking with Lyon.}

09 Feb 2019 20:56:41
Thank you Ed much appreciated.

09 Feb 2019 23:00:37
Manchester city are interested in him as 1 of a number of players to eventually replace fernandinho, someone I know was at the Lyon game just over a week ago to watch him and someone else for Lyon. This person who knows Paul Mitchell doesn't expect Paul Mitchell to come to us as a Dof either, not gospel just someone's opinion.

10 Feb 2019 17:25:02
I’ve not actually seen him play, can anyone shed any light to what type of a player he is?

{Ed025's Note - i think he is lined up to replace fenandinho at city next season caolan..

Sorry to fire in random names but I was wondering if utd have shown any interest in Nicholas pepe. Thanks in advance.

{Ed025's Note - not as far as i am aware TB..

07 Feb 2019 21:17:09
Anyone know much about Upamecano and whether there’s any substance to the rumours we’re interested in him?

Believable0 0Unbelievable

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of specific interest from MU but many sides have looked but the asking price has put sides off.}

09 Feb 2019 00:40:21
Apparently we had an agreement to sign him but tried to change something regarding the deal last minute and it fell through. Sound like typical journalist bull to me though.
