It is a road we have been down before on several occasions. The last 1 being yesterday 2 posts down.
I don't want this to happen. But do you think LVG sees some value in selling Mata and replacing him with Sneijder? Obviously he won't mind the bench and is not going to stagnate Januzaj or Perreira as much, he is coming to the end - he also knows the LVG system properly.
With Rooney certain to start, it leaves Mata not getting many games and a diminishing value. It may be why Sneijder keeps cropping up.
More likely to be nothing in it and it could be lazy media with boring Internationals, but LVG may be following this type of thinking - who knows.
