Morrison doesn't deserve to play for our great club, I dont care if he's Best reincarnate. He's a low life that has broken the law on many occasions for serious crimes and has no respect for United or the fans. Dont gimme that bulls**t about him having a hard upbringing or his friends are bogeys, boo fu*cking who. He has an unbelievable chance to play football for the best club in the world and he's pissing it down the drain.

Potential is only potential. Gimme a hard working kid any day over a pre-madonna with no work ethic that has accomplished the square root of fook all.

Patience has ran out!

hey who would your preferred choice to replace fergie i personally think solksjaer or moyes but believe both need a new challenge before getting the man utd job maybe somewhere like tottenham where they will get money to spend i would love to see what moyes could do with 20 million every summer

With all this speculation regarding Ravel Morrison you would think he was going to be United's savior. Yes, I would totally agree the boy has the potential to become a good player but at this time that's all it is, if he was truely class as some people have mentioned he would be involved in United's first-team on a weekly basis however he's not. And I think it's pretty obvious why. The boys head seems to be in the wrong place and you certainly would question his attitude because continuesly missing traning and complaining on social networking sites is not going to do him any favours, he needs to get his act together and decide if he wants to become the player we all believe he is capable of becoming. And I might add there is no one better than SAF to bring the best out off Ravel but the kid is sending the wrong messages he should be doing his talking on the pitch, proving a point that he deserves to be in the first-team.

Syd..... do you think we'll make a bid for Hazard in the summer? I know there will be interest from the scousers, chelsea, arsenal an the big serie a clubs.

Seen this lad a few times and i think he looks great and can still improve a lot. But i think hes just the kind of player we need.... a bit of that magic dust we need in the middle of the park.

And hows Ryan Tunnicliffe doing at Peterborough?? i've heard hes had a few man of the match performaces. He looked soooo good in the youth team last year.

Can we realistically see a quality central midfielder coming in any time soon? Well i think alot of that depends on the status of Pogba and of Morrison. Personally i think both stay, SAF will speak with them - they will get game time next season for sure as will Fryers and maybe Tunnicliffe. So whats likely, well i think you cast off the likes of Modric, Sneijder, Gotze etc from your list.

Instead we will go for less well known players who will enhance the squad. 3 to 4 players that i feel have the quality to improve the squad are:

Versatile Defender: Cesar Azpilicueta £8 million.
Central Midfielder: Mateo Kovacic £7.5 million.
Winger: Alvaro Vadillo.
Experienced Striker: Raul, Huntelaar, Toni.

I have named these players as A) They are very realistically priced. B) They all have something to add.

I went for Azpilicueta as we have been tracking him for some time, he can play fullback on either side so therefore he can fill in with injuries and perhaps hold down a spot in the right back position. He would certainly add competition. Kovacic is young enough to be moulded into an all around midfielder. Even at such a young age he has excelled in the Champions League where he has gained tonnes of experience for a youngster.

We have been monitoring Vadillo for a while, he would be available for 2.5 million (that goes up as he makes more appearences). I think we will move for him depending on how he recovers from his injury. As for strikers i think we will see a large out going of players such as Berbatov, Owen, Diouf. Two of those add experience to the squad - so adding a bit more experience into the side is paramount. Raul will be a free agent and still has a great eye for goal, for me Macheda replaces Berbatov hopefully and Raul for Owen. Experience for experience and an injection of youth.

Hopefully Gibson leaving means that Morrison will be given more opportunities and persuaded that his future is at United! From what ive seen of Pogba he does not seem all that! Morrison is the one we need to keep! He is truly the real deal! Just needs to sort his head out

I dislike Steven Gerrard, I really do. Its in my blood. I also think Glen Johnson's tackle on his namesake was slightly worse than Kompany's on Nani. However, I have to say fair play to Gerrard for interrupting Mancini's post match interview to point out that Mancini was doing precisely the same thing he accused Wayne Rooney of doing, and pointing it out live on the radio for all to hear.

Is Ravel Morrison actually under the Key Sports Managements Ltd company, as on their official website ( www.keysports.co.uk/ ) he isn't listed.

If anyone can confirm this I'd appreciate it, as I'd hate for him to leave. It's true the boy has an attitude, but, he's class.

Also, if his contract does run until 2014, why wouldn't the papers have caught onto this by now?

Thanks tbir.

I don't believe any of this Morrison up for sale rubbish, there is no need to sell him, he has a contract that runs for at least another year. And he's worth much more than 500,000 - its all boring lazy jouralism that is meant to worry us. If SAF was worried he'd probably get a new deal for him sorted.

Trust in SAF - Morrison or neither Pogba will leave.

Do guys think that after the debacle of Blackburn will SAF pick his strongest team (whatever that is) against Bolton or will he send out the wrong message again with his team selection ??

Team selection IMO revolves around Rooney if he plays we play if not I think guys look around and just dont feel the same intensity about the game.

A new rule has been enforced by the FA today. Any Liverpool player seen passing the ball to Carroll, will be booked for time wasting

Where are people getting this myth that Morrison's contract runs out in the summer?

keep seeing Bale mentioned by you dreamers. If Redknapp is forced one day to let him go he will NOT
let him go to a premiership rival - though in a year or two's time you may not be one of their rivals

The Morrison situation is really strange. On one hand you can understand the boy wanting to play, especially when players like Goetze are regulars at their club at his age, but on the other hand you can also understand SAF not giving him a game if he keeps missing training and continues with his attitude problems.

I just hope SAF gives him a run of games, which puts his head in the right place and he starts working hard. His talent is undoubted.

On the rumours about Barcelona being interested, he doesn't seem the brightest of chaps to learn spanish and work at adjusting into another culture.

I trust RFT about his info on Morrison being offered more money by City, but will he get gametime there? I don't think so for one minute.

There seems to be a lot of conflicting rumour around Morrison. For me talent is only useful if it is accompanied by a work ethic. If Ravel - and I hope he does - fails to realise this he won't succeed anywhere. The biggest clubs are well run clubs with managers that will not put up with nonsense. This moment is crucial for him and I just hope he has good advisers around him.

dont' get to excited with ravel morrison talk, I remember there being a lot more hype around joe cole when he was a kid and although he is a good player he is the world star everyone predicted, and he had a better attitude than this morrison kid.

nobody is bigger than MANCHESTER UNITED! especially some scruffy 18 year old who has no respect what so ever for the club. (or himself for that matter) let him leave if he wants to.

he thinks he is better than what he is, and his ego is up their with ronaldo and messi (who deserve a big ego) but ravel doesn't he has only played well for the reserves, yes he looks like a real talent and world beater one day but at the moment he is just some kid with an over-sized ego who needs to knuckle down and earn his contract and earn his place in the side.!

If anyone can actually post a Man Utd rumour on this site that turns out to be true I'll donate £100 to the charity of their choice......I've sat here reading this site during the last three transfer windows and been really excited at some of the potential signings we've been rumoured to be buying only to be disappointed when we buy no one!!

Telegraph reporting today that United have
"reluctantly" put Ravel Morrison up for sale and that Newcastle have bid £500,000 for him !!

I know he has had his moments outside of the club, but surely with his talent, we should be looking to him for our future. What with this and the worrying rumours about Pogba , what is happening to our Youth strategy ( and perhaps, more importantly, our club !!! )

He certainly can do that. But Id give us a bit more than a 'sow's ear' to be fair. The start of the season was not a fluke. When we had our near full squad we beat City 3-2, Spurs 3-0, Arsenal 8-2. I dont believe Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea have bought well over last couple of transfer windows, so Im not panicked. Obviously we need a couple of top class players to compete with Europes elite. But I dont think we are in trouble in relation to the Premier League.

Gar"""
dear mr gar
you are right
ngiak fears that "re-signing" retirees, carrying a very ill midfielder and non premiership players like gibson is worrying
whats more, they cant find better players than these with quotes like "no value in the market"?
a problem with our scouts?
ngiak would have thought that 1/3 of the premiership midfielders were better than our rather sorry lot
ngiak is a little harsh but its not far from the truth
from his sources that got the summer spending spot on...
this window will see 2 players out and 2 players in
one of the two will be a youngster
good luck from ngiak

So, young master Morrison is up for sale along with Gibson. Wish them both well.

Shame about Ravel but think the best thing for him is to get away from wythe and stop pretending he's some sort of gangsta! (just look at his twitter profile pic and try and keep a straight face) You can't have a player who doesn't turn up to training no matter how talented he is...

If Pogba leaves too then at least we can stop using the excuse that buying a new world class CM would hinder their development

As for Gibson; lets hope that he makes way for some new blood!?
