After getting Barcelona I'm not as expecting as others who have forgotten the first game against PSG. Barcelona will play the same fast passing, closing down game as PSG only better and then they have Messi too. We will not be underestimated by them and could be in for two very difficult and draining nights football with very important league games before and after. It really makes appreciate how good and fit we were back in the 90's competing in those competitions and winning most.

I don’t think anyone’s expecting it easy, or easier than PSG mate. It’s just a sign that our fans have a bit of optimism for the first time in years. Instead of going into games fearing getting beaten by a cricket score or thinking, “I’ll take a 0-0” we are giving it a go.

I can’t believe that after the spirt and fight shown away to Paris we are talking like Barcelona will put 7/ 8 past us. We should enjoy these games, as it’s been a while since we’ve been in them.

Its written in the stars for Ollie to return to Camp Nou and for his team to desteoy a poor Barcelona team and send Messi to the MLS. i hope. 😆😆.

Have you been on the phone to Jose again?! Take no notice he's just upset because he didn't get the Madrid job!

Personally i think its an advantage for us to be at home first. They are not great easy and if we can take a lead to Spain then anything is possible.

Gaitan on a free transfer; how did we let one slip through our fingers? There’s always Sneijder.

What do people think of the draw?

A few months ago I’d have written us off facing Barca, but now I say bring it on. If we go down to them then there’s no shame in it and we’ll definitely give them a game.

It’s a long time since you could say that, so let’s have it!

Couldn’t have been worse tbh. Looks like if we are going to win something this year it’ll be the hard way. Juventus, Valencia, Young Boys, PSG, potentially Liverpool then City/ Juventus again or FA Cup Reading, Chelsea, Arsenal, Wolves, with City to come if we get them. But would much refer these big games, it’s where our squad and Ole will grow. I see people pointing out City’s quite frankly easy draws in all comps this year but that’s them, in all honesty nobody cares about City.

Looking at our recent record in cup competitions we normally get knocked out by the so called "weaker" teams. Sevilla last year, yet this year we beat PSG.

It seems playing the best brings the best out of our players.

The way Ole has us playing we have a chance against anyone.

I would prefer to play the best teams. You either win and become hero's, or you lose and you can hold your head high. There would be no shame getting knocked out by Barcelona, yet Ajax or Porto are more than capable of beating anyone still in the competition. Yet, lose to them and the fall out would be huge.

Play the best, go for glory. That is the United way.

Why fight so hard to be in the UCL next year if we aren't going to relish games against to top sides. These are the night that make the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. When the UCL theme tune comes on and you see our boys and Barcelona walking out on the pitch. We have hope and the ability to win.

Enjoy it.

I'm hoping we meet the Barcelona that has lost two and drawn four of their matches since the beginning of the year. Nothing is impossible.
