Ed 4 out of my 5 last posts have not been put on the page, can u place a general reason on the page as to why this is, are not all posts placed on the site?

Ed001 on the R. Madrid site was asked about Bilbao, and he said that they are building their side around Martinez and Llorente. He said because of this, to raise cash, Muniain is up sale. The press has said in the past that Spanish agents have tipped us to be signing Muniain for around 19 million. This news from ed001 would back that up. I think he'd be good, he's the Spanish Rooney, and when Rooney goes missing we have him to fall back on. And he is only 19.

Any thoughts on the matter?

RedDevil19 {Ed001's Note - he was offered around at 40m Euros, in case that alters people's thoughts on the matter.}

I watch him on a regular basis down at selhurst park. For someone so young he plays with so much Experiance. He will not be beaten for pace, he is rock solid defensively and he does get forward well but not as much as he probably could. He has been palaces man of the match on many occasions this season. I am confident he will be an England international I think he's that good. He I better than Kyle Walker at the moment. As a palace fan I'd love him to go to united and not a mid table team. {Ed007's Note - AAAWWwww go on mate......tell us his name? Don't keep us in suspenders!!!}

Well it seems that i've stirred up a hornets nest, i've read everyone's posts and have done my best to look at it all in an unbiased way.

I feel peolpe should be given a second chance, like someone said none of us are perfect and we all make mistakes. But you have to draw the line somewhere.

Ravel skips training demands more money and garrentees about first team chances and someone people believe that as this isn't as bad as he has done before we should reward him with a new contract? He has been given chance after chance and doesn't feel any loyalty to the club and the peolpe who have done so much for him as they aren't in his gang. If you reward Ravel with first team games what will players like Pogba Lingard the Keane twins Vermijil Cole Tunnicliffe and all the rest feel? They are hard working talented lads who are giving their all for the team then this lazy pre madonna who can't be arsed to turn up to training gets games ahdead of them. If Ravel wants game time then he has to earn it and at the very least turn up for training.

But this isn't about whether we cast him off as a person its about whether he can live up to his potential. And given his attitude and the way he conducts himself i don't think he can.
So were left with the conumdrum of do we keep a player who is a disruptive influence but highly talented who could become a great player but is unlikely to due to his attitude or do we let him go.

I say tell him to clean up his act properly and sign the contract on offer or move him on and wish him the best of luck(he'll need it if he takes that attitude with him).

I want Man Utd to buy new players like every other fan....but where's the money for the players being mentioned?
You'd think from reading these posts that we had a bottomless bank account. Everyone seems to forget that although Man Utd is a football team...its also a business too. Can't spend all its profits on players and also the new rules of football spending are being implimentented soon.
In season 11/12 we spent £52,900,000. We sold £9,500,00...net spend £43,400,00.
In season 07/08 we spent £61,750,000. We sold £35,200,00...net spent £26,550,000.
The last big spend was this season. We are out of the Champions League. Our revenue will certainly be down next season. We are a club that has to sell before we can buy.....so if all the big name players we all dream about were to join us....we'd have to sell Rooney, Vidic and co just to find the cash. Times have changed and so has football, so lets all stop dreaming and get real. Fergie will only buy young players that the coaches at United can develop into hopefully world class players. Stop looking at City, Barca and Real....and trust in Fergie.....he hasn't made too many mistakes in 25 years....ie 37 trophies!!

Loserpool manager queen kenny is desperate to strengthen his list of dead wood players at anfield. He has lost highly rated dead wood players like poulsen, jovanovic, cole(loan), Ngog(loan), voronin, babel etc.Although, he did try to strengthen this area of his team by buying highly useless carrol and promoting carragher and kuyt to this department, he still fells that he can add a player or two to improve the depth of the dead wood players at anfield. Thus in desperation he has offered 25m to villa to bring back heskey to anfield. Reports also suggest that he is also looking at wayne bridge who is considered to be the best dead wood player in premier league. queen kenny thinks that he can lure him to anfield by offering him higher wages than mans**tty

Can we have an end to the Ronaldo return pipe dreams please?

A couple of fans boo and he doesn't like a couple of teammates and he's going to leave Madrid his "dream club" his words remember.

He's going to want something like almost £300,000 a week after tax so god knows what that comes out to before tax. Something like £600k? So we're going to pay him £2.4 million a month? Thats £24 million a season not counting the 2 months of close season. Can you really see Fergie agreeing to that? Never mind the Glazers! Also Rooney would then want a pay rise as well.

Throw in the trasnfer fee. I really do not know where some of you chuckleheads think we'd only pay £50-£60 million for him when we sold him for £80 million. Madrid can't keep relying on the government to bail them out, especially given the way the Spanish economy is going, and the whole Eurozone as well. Anyway even £50 million would be too much on a single player to the Glazers never mind the £80-90 Madrid would want. After all he's nearer to his peak than when we sold him.

Lets face it there is more chance of Stephen Hawking pulling on a United shirt than there is of Ronaldo.

I'm going to bring up a controversial issue up now in CR7. I am NOT saying he is returning, although i hope something is in motion. I will be watching the match closely tomorow to see how he looks, see if he is happy, switched onto the challenge or not. It will be an interesting one. Always interestingly he hasn't denied the speculation around his future, he has not come out and said he is happy or anything like that.

Just a thought, what a team this could potentially be:

--------------------- De Gea -------------------

Rafael ------ Smalling -------- Vidic ------ Evra

------------- Pogba ------- Cleverly ---------

Nani/Valencia -------- Rooney ----------- Ronaldo

-------------------- Hernandez -------------------

Someone now tell me that would not potentially be one of the greatest teams we have seen. Excellent service, still back line with good full backs. Ronaldo, Rooney and Nani all moving around, swapping positions. That for me is exciting to even think of.

Rio has just tweeted saying he has been training normally since the last game and so will definitely be fit for Arsenal (providing he picks up no further injuries of course). Therefore I would expect the team to look something like this?

________DDG

Raf__Smalling__Rio__Evra

____Carrick___Jones

Valencia___________Nani

________Rooney

________Welbeck

With a bench of: Lindegaard, Fryers, Evans, Anderson, Scholes, Giggs, Hernandez

Wouldn't mind seeing Pogba on there rather than one of Scholes/Giggs but then would he get on anyway?

I'd also expect DDG to play because he shouldn't have to deal with too many physical challenges.

Rafeal tends to have good games against Arsenal that's why I've predicted him at RB although I guess it could be Jones there with Giggs/Scholes CM.

Or, as it's Fergie, it could be completely different and unexpected.

For the positions we want filling do you think we will buy young like this summer? Or go for more established names? I think the former rather than the later.

Barkley
Rodwell
Ocampos
Cavani

I think all of these guys are on the short list and efforts will be made for sure. I really think its so hard to predict what we will do - someone like Real Madrid the answer is easy, but for us its more difficult! I hope something interesting happens soon.

Just a general summary really of who we should/shouldnt be looking at:
Shaqiri - Not for me chaps, Im not a fan, average player in a weak team. Just not strong enough to play in the middle where we need a signing.
Hazard - This guy has potential in bucket loads, but again can he fill the gap in central mid? Again I dont have the answer, its impossible, how can you judge a player in a position he doesnt play week in week out?
Sneijder - Probably going to aggrovate a few good people here but for me he is the most proven in that position, he can take a set peice with his eyes shut, composed, his age is slightly unfavourable but he will perform consistantly, in my opinion, for at least another 6 years.
Sahin (Mr Forgotton): What a player, seriously what a player. I would settle for him. Un-settled at Madrid if appearances are anything to go by, might just be what SAF is thinking.
Kaka - If it was my team with the money i'd buy him tomorrow, form is temp, class is permanent, injury ruined his early Madrid time.
Goetze - Still looks far from perfect to me, great skill on his day and tremendous vision but far from complete, might be worth an investment but in my opinion he is worth £20 - £25 million tops.
Honda - Always have been and always will be a fan. The man Wenger called a genious after the world cup, but again I dolnt think he's what we lack.

Right now i expect i'll split the posters down the middle with this but i hope that most back me in this or it might show how far society has fallen.

Ravel Morrison!

There has been rumours aplenty and know one knows quite whats going on, we've had papers speculate Ravel's Twitter drivel and interesting comments from Sir Alex.

So whats my conclusion? Ravel should be sold and we shoud be glad were shot of him.

Now he is the most naturally talented player to come from our academy in many years but that doesn't mean he's above reproach. There are many highly talented players who come and go and never reah their potential, why? because they lack the right attitude to make it. I would make a bet with any of you now that Zeki Fryers Will Keane and Jesse Lingard will not only be more important players for us but be better players than Ravel when alls said and done. I watch the youth alot and i've seen highly talented players go by the wayside and i've seen youngsters who at the age or 17/18/19 didn't look too special but go on the be great players. For example Cleverley and Macheda, At 17 you'd have put your money on Macheda becoming the better player but one had the right attitude and the other didn't. Imagine the Academy is like a purse, some coins are shinier than others but that doesn't make them more valuable.

Thats why IMO Ravel will never be a top player. He has the ability but not the right mentality. He will never reach his potential unless he puts the work in and concentrates. Ronaldo became one the best player in the world with us but he was first in in the morning and the last to leave he worked for it he doesn't drink or smoke he dedicates himself to being the best so he has been able to turn his potential into reality, Ravel will never do this, by the time he grows up it'll all be too late.

Then we move on to his handling of his new contract. Now people will blame his agent but he's recently changed agents. Do you think his old agent told him to do this or do you think he did it as he didn't agree with what his old agent was saying or doing for him. He has his own mind and he took the decision to change agents, and now his new agant is demanding allsorts, we have to assume this has come from Ravel why else change agent to someone who isn't gonna do as you want?

So here we have a young man who owes not only his footballing education to Man Utd but also his liberty after the club stepped in and used their laywers their money and even Sir Alex himself to keep him out of prison and how does he repay the club he supports he holds them to ransom and demands assurances over playing time, who does he think he is to dictate to Sir Alex who the starting line up should be. He is a manchester lad born and bred and some posters would have you believe that makes you a better Man Utd fan, well if thats the case someone should point this out to Ravel. The club have done so much for him and when/if a contract is put on the table he should sign it without question out of gratitude for what the clubs done for him not get on his high horse and demand playing time and more money.

He is a spoit brat and the worst kind of human being, if this is how he treats and repays the club he loves than we, football and society are better off without him.

Paul Pogba is the new viera, need him in the squad right now, and when interviewed on MUTV he seemed to be enjoying his football at united. Theres no need for these agents to be interupting young kids development. There should be one club agent at a club, who looks after all the youngsters till they sign their first professional contracts.
Greedy agents are destroying the game, and its a joke. I would play for united for free, so when you hear players like morrison and his agent demanding more money, if he leaves his career will never take off. These agents musn't know a thing, always looking for an easy buck, if your a star at Manchester United, your star all over the World. Your an advertisers dream, along with winning trophies and bonuses. surely its better working hard to get to the top of the game rather, than getting money for nothing.

I avoid this site like the plague during transfer windows, because it just gets on my nerves all this groundless speculation about players.

Can't people just accept and move on from the fact that as soon as one agent ends his conversation on the phone with us. He/She phones Chelsea or City. This is why Sir Alex has this lacklustre approach when asked about the subject. We have got plenty of money but we haven't got Sugar Daddy backing like those two clubs I mentioned. So before people talk about hands being tied etc its nonsense United have to approach things differently.

Anyway back to more pressing matters. IMO no one will be bought in this transfer window if we were they would have been bought by now. As I have said before we blew our title on New Years Eve, its gone for me now just going to have to accept it. If you want reassurance of that look at the next 6 games. Our best chance of any silverware in in cup competition this year. If and its a big if we can get past Liverpool, we could have a great chance in the FA cup.

By February 16th when we play Ajax, I think City will be about 8/9 pts clear maybe more looking at the fixtures, so it may be conceivable that we will hell for leather in the Europa League, if we can avoid City that is. They may just err on the side of caution and throw all their eggs in one basket.

Still can't get over Blackburn on New Years Eve knocked me for six I have to say, got ourselves back in to a fantastic position and he fields a carling cup side and formation, lord above

hi guys, not sure everybody here realises how good hazard really is. having lived in france for most of my life i can confirm he is top top quality. Also, its well known in france that his prefered destination is Real madrid, Zidane has been tapping him up for 3 yrs. given the calibre of player everyone will have been tracking him with a degree of interest but he will command huge wages and a huge fee ruling out all but 2 or 3 clubs. I think IF the player has an interest in joining us we would be prepared to pay whatever it takes as i am convinced he will soon be regarded as world class

Sydney I agree that Izaguirre is a quality player I just don't feel he is any better than the options we currently have. SAF seems to have a lot of faith in Evra he certainly hasn't been playing well defensively that is more to do with attitude rather than a lack of ability or loss of pace, injuries, etc. Fabio and Fryers will be left to fight it out for his job in a few seasons. As far as Moussa Sissoko is concerned he is again a decent box-to-box mid but let's get real he wouldn't get in ahead of cleverley, carrick, anderson, fletcher, even giggs, and scholes. He is not utd quality you have suggested Javi Martinez now that is a proper signing IMO as well. Anyway our midfield is set already with nani carrick cleverley valencia and rooney playing "in the hole" his best position i feel. There will not be a Gotze, Kagawa type player coming because rooney is the best "in the hole" player in the world IMO. Modric if he were to be purchased would take cleverley's spot in the team ,SAF may dream of modric but i bet he would loathe to give Tottenham genuine title contenders the 35 million pounds he would cost. I'm afraid the stakes have changed for tottenham and they are a real threat now he won't be leaving. SAF and everybody associated with the club know cleverley is a special talent he has been handed the mantle and he will be our modric alongside carrick his penetrating quick one two touch football is what will give us that wonderful quick tempo we 're missing at the moment. Carrick will sit and be the more defensive one of the two of them. That is a balanced midfield every team has someone to do a more reserved defensive job at the beginning of a match. Asking cleverley to do that in a midfield twosome of he and modric is asking him to play in a manner that iwould hinder his best attributes . He does his best work in final third of the pitch and on the edge of the area not screening a back four. Yes he is defensively responsible but that doesn't make him ball winner all of a sudden . I agree we don't need a de jong type player as players of that ilk are very limited in what they offer to a team. Carrick will be fantastic beside cleverley you always need someone to retrieve the ball so you can attack again neither cleverley nor modric excel at tackling whether that is the de jong type tackling or the carrick or parker type tackling square pegs in round holes. Finally while the Anderson cleverley partnership worked in an offensive capacity we we're wide open defensively in the middle of the park because both Anderson and cleverley have natural tendencies to attack as does modric. We would have the same problem as we did in the opening months of the season. I am fairly certain that De Gea faced the the most shots in the league in the first few months (Ed, might know the exact numbers?) teams were counter attacking down middle in behind our advanced attacking unbalanced partnership of Anderson and cleverley also down the left as well but save that for a different day. Now personally feel if anything we need a world class striker an aguero, cavani, van persie type don't get wrong I love welbeck, chicharito, but chicharito's build up play, ball control, and play with his back to goal leave something to be desired . Welbeck is the more complete striker of the two because he can run the channels he can beat a man on the line and then carry the ball from back to front. He has proven he can score at a consistent rate as well which is where chicharito excels. But neither bring the type of threat that a cavani would bring that guy is tailor made for premier league football fast strong clinical versatile tireless workrate. No need for attacking midfielder we have rooney he is better than anyone we could buy ie. Gotze, Kagawa, Gaitan. None of them would give us the goals passing creativity workrate of rooney he is a player who should get 20 goals and 20 assists at least in all competitions . Not to mention rooney gives us endless tactical flexibility in a single match he can seamlessly move up to make iit a front two go wide left and even into a central midfielde role. Modric is a luxury and fantasy signing SAF recently described Cleverley as one of the best midfielld talents in England which is quite true. It's his team now and he has been given the blessing from SAF. I feel the triangle in the middle of the field with carrick, cleverley, and rooney is as good as anything out there with valencia , nani streching play on wings we'll be ripping teams apart again. Cavani up front with chicharito, and welbeck on the bench with young and anderson etc. While in Italy for Cavani we should go to udinese and buy Asamoah, Benatia, and if you want a left back Armero he sh#$s on Izaguirre he is tireless in his lung bursting runnning on that left flank, quality crossing he would be a cult hero at Old Trafford based on his passion alone whilst Benatia is a quick aggressive, cultured defender that would be a solid addition he is the leader of the meanest defence in Serie A and Asamoah is a beast, Moussa Sissoko can't lace this guy's boots and he would cost probably cost more than Kwadwo Asamoah who is undoubtedly better. Our squad needs tinkering that's it expect at some point in the next two transfer windows to see a top ST, a CM a Rasmus Elm type goal scoring, good passing squad player, maybe a young CB for cover Smalling will partner Vidic with Jones at right back for the next few years as Jones is too good to leave out of the side and he can utilise his attacking instincts and get forward while leaving us three CB's on the pitch to deal with set pieces and not to the detriment on our attacking thrust down the right side. Rafael Fabio Fryers will deputise we have so many talented young players coming through we're going keep this big red train rolling. RHJ

What will be the line-up against Arsenal this weekend?

______Lindegaard
Small_Evans_Ferdy_Evra
____Carrick__Jones
Toni____Rooney____Nani
_______Welbeck

Arsenal are not the passing team to fear no longer, they are also very weak defensively and can only score when RVP is on the field. We will score goals against this team so the important thing IMO is defending well and we should get a result.
