I'm not convinced Ole will be the man to take us forward and to be honest that a debate for another day but I do love his press conferences. He's honest, comes across really well and is proud as punch to be sat there as manager of Manchester United. Love listening to him talk, let's hope it's 7/ 7 after the weekend and we close the gap a little more. Going forward who knows what will happen but the here and now is brilliant.

I’m not convinced, but,

1. He’s won 6 of 6, something Moyes, LVG, and Jose failed to do.
2. He’s delighted to be the United Manager. And why not
3. He seems to, believe in bringing on the youngsters
4. He has been professional and positive throughout
5. He scored the winner in the Champions League final!

Frankly, if he wins the next 2 games, give him the job.

Ole IS the man.

Tony, he's won 6 out of 6 something SAF and Busby failed to do as well but that does not make Ole better than them either. Can we not wait and see out the season. If Ole does well. enough then surely give it to him but just don't hand it to him based on the bounce effect.

I do not understand why people are talking about whether if OGS is the right person or not. He just started and have an obligation to take the team to end of season. If he does well so Bt it then make him an offer. If not then I am sure he has done his best given his passion and love for the club afterwhich he will leave.
In the meantime it’s halftime season wise and we should support the club, manager and team. If OGS is not the right one then I’m sure the management should have done their job earmarking the next manager. I feel this debate about OGS being the right manager or not should be left till Apr/ May timeframe.
For me I’ll just enjoy the current journey and change of style of play. Damn! If we play well the manager is not the right person and damn if we don’t play well and it’s the the same argument. Difficult to please man 🤣🤣🤣.
My advice is just go with the flow.
Look forward to today’s game. I would love if we hit them with plenty of goals. No mercy and we don’t take any prisoners. Let’s get rical fans to start hating us more (just like before) . Fear Factor.

Agree 666. There is a massive debate whether he should get it or not. But a decision doesn't need to be made until the end of the season.
By that time we will know more about him as a manager. After the next month we'll know more.
I'm just enjoying him being here for now whatever happens. He is like a breath of fresh air after Mourinho and I love everything about him. He says all the right things, has the players and supporters smiling and enjoying their football again. He's humble and is a club legend no mater what happens.
The pressure hasn't been on him or the players yet though since he came in. He is is in a sort of no lose situation whatever happens. That said if we carry on like this until the end of the season, make top 4 and go far in the cups it would be a difficult decision to get rid of him.
I still think Poch is probably the man to take us forward. I'm not getting too carried away at the moment but am enjoying the ride and would love nothing more than us going on to win things with Ole at the helm.

I was like everyone was thrilled with the win against Spurs, but and its a big but, only for Dave we could have lost by 3 or 4. Spurs are good but they are not the standard we should be at, we should be at higher level again to challenge for the league and Europe. So lots done but still plenty to do and more players needed.

Rome was not built in a day, and we had fallen way down league. To beat the 3rd best team in the league away is a massive step forward from where we were 2 months ago.

Also if we were 3-0 up at half time no one could have said we didn't deserve it. So luck is what you make it.

The squad needs improvement, that is clear. It won't happen this window, but it should start in the summer.

We have had to endure terrible football for 18 months. Will this last? Who knows. Will we dominate next season? Probably not. Can we enjoy this right now? Yes, if we let ourselves get lost in the moment. None of us have the power to make changes at the club, so none of us should be too worried about planning for the future right now. Just enjoy watching your team play well and win. If we have learned anything from the last 5 years is that playing good football and winning isn't guarenteed. So for the love of God enjoy it while you have it.

De Gea wasn't the only keeper to make decent saves vs spurs I recall lloris making some decent ones himself so this spurs could of won by 3 or 4 is utter nonsense.

Shots on target, Spurs 11,United 7. It looked so one sided because all their shots came in 1 half. DDG didn’t have a save to make in the first half. As I said last week, reverse the halves and we’d be having a different conversation.

As Shappy said, a couple of months ago we wouldn’t have won that game, and we wouldn’t have won all of the previous 5 either.

Gerrard and Lampard have made very promising starts. Makes you wonder why Giggs didn't find a club to start him off.

Probably because be wasnt prepared to take a step down in quality which lampard and gerrard have done.

I remember swansea being in for him whilst in the premier league but he didn't feel it was a good fit for him.

Simple answer Tony, Giggs expected an EPL job right out the gate purely based on his reputation as a player. Lampard and Gerrard took jobs that Giggs views as beneath him.

Marcelo Bielsa's doing a good job with Leeds, Kiko isn't a bad signing at all.

On another note, very Sad about Hussein-Suale, he was one of the main investigators on Anas' team. Hope justice is served!

{Ed001's Note - it is insane what is going on in Ghana, you need to check out that politician asking people to get him!}

DSG you say its a step down in quality for Gerrard and Lampard but he manages Wales a team littered with championship players with the exception of a few.

Maybe Giggs knew he would get an easier ride as national team manager and didn't have the balls to take a tougher job?

DSG, Giggs went for the Swansea job but lost out to Bob Bradley. It was reported at the time that the interviewers asked Giggs what he’d do to turn things around at the club, and he said he’d tell the players to work harder and run more.
