According to di marzio, romelu lukaku has changed his agent, no longer with mino raiola.

Any chance paul pogba will do the same?

I read that, some agency that Jay-Z is involved with apparently.

Big mistake, whether you loathe of like raiola, his speed dial is like the keys to the candy store, this jay-z agency will want him involved in more promotional work, want to negotiate better imaging rights, his contract etc, i reckon jose will need a sponsorship deal with anadin and andrews this summertime, nice one romelu!

they probably think they are signing up Stormzy! personally feel united want to break all ties with Raiola.

Lukaku moving away from an agent renowned for persistently moving his clients from pillar to post is hopefully good news for us.

However, it could also provide an insight into other situations at the club. Mostly the one with Pogba.

Six months ago we had 4 Raiola clients on our books. Now in the space of 4 months Mkhitaryan has moved to Arsenal, Zlatan was released from his contract to join LA Galaxy, and now Lukaku has left Raiola to join up with Jay-Z. Leaving just Pogba left.

Is Pogba's supposed unhappiness cause or effect. Has Raiola reacted to the loss of his clients at our club by whispering in Pogba's ear as he has before. Or is the club unhappy with Raiola and systematically removing him from the club. Maybe Lukaku realises the club's relations with Raiola are strained and him changing agents is him attempting to prolong his United career.

Or maybe I'm putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5 as usual. Lol.

However, if Pogba leaves this summer we will have gone from having four clients of Raiola on our books to none in six months.

I thought Sergio Romero is a client of Mino.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Apr 2018 20:41:45
I'd forgotten about Romero being a Raiola client. Although there has been speculation he is keen to move on to get regular playing time. And to be honest I don't blame him. He has to be one of the best if not the best second choice keeper in world football. He is far too good to be a back up. I wouldn't be gutter if he left, I have high hopes of Joel Pereira. I would be happy for him to be our second choice.

Good read, Ed001. How come Kane didn't get Young Player of the Year, as well? šŸ˜.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - it is awaiting the appeal he has lodged with us to decide whether he qualifies as he was once under 23. Or so he swears. We are waiting for documentation to prove that he is correct as swearing on young children's lives is not something we approve of here, unless it is on Ed004's life and you are lying of course....}

Damn that was good Eds. First class šŸ‘šŸ‘
I couldnā€™t stop laughing as I was reading. Enjoyed the comments and remarks.

Ed001, that was hilarious.
Thanks for the post. Great read. :)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - thank you zaid. Just hoping we can get Ed007 to at least watch the right competition for the World Cup awards....}

21 Apr 2018 05:31:06
No Pogba? Whatā€™s wrong with you all? All those great haircuts, his own emoji, silly dancing, he was head and shoulders above everyone else. Perhaps he could have won the award for most underwhelming player of the year, or player who gives the ball away in dangerous positions most often.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - funnily enough Ed033, who doesn't watch football, picked him in his team of the year. The only one who did. Which probably says something, I am just not sure what.}

21 Apr 2018 08:16:38
Ed, heā€™s shown he can be half decent but only rarely. I didnā€™t really watch him at Juve. It since we signed him I have been disappointed 90% of the time. Forget the fee, in almost 2 seasons how many games has he dominated? I would say none. Influenced? Less than 10. It doesnā€™t hel that he prances around like he thinks heā€™s a superstar when his achievements on the pitch just donā€™t live up to the hype. Everyone is desperate for him to come good but I think he lacks maturity. Maybe as he gets older he might make the most of his talents but right now I fear he is wasting them.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - he played the same way at Juve. Flashes of skill. That was it. He just needs to work on being more of a team player, imo. As for the hair etc, I wouldn't worry too much about that, the lad doesn't drink, so he doesn't spend his time after training in a bar like old skool players. He is just filling his time in a different way.}

21 Apr 2018 09:45:42
I've no problem with anyone giving it the big I am, although as a more mature gentleman (cough), I prefer a little bit of decorum in my players. But you have to back it up on the pitch, or you just look a bit silly. Good point though about him being teetotal, though Ed001. I'd rather he invested his time on stupid haircuts and cringeworthy dance moves, than spending it in the pub, or racking up debts by p1ssing it all away in the bookies.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - exactly mate. Though you are right, no one would care if he was playing well anyway.}

21 Apr 2018 10:31:39
I'm not sure how many people actually watched him at juve, maybe just read the hype and watched the adverts.
Bags of talent, all the attributes but we are still talking about potential.
Another player who has found the epl hard work or maybe that should be has been found out by the epl.

Not for me pal I know you said you would sell him the other week but I hope he settles down and reaches his potential at the United.
What's the alternative buy another shinny toy that doesn't know the epl and cross our fingers it works .
Lot of people want savic, looks a decent player but isn't the finished article and his passing can be suspect .
But he will cost a lot so that would keep a few happy ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Apr 2018 18:15:01
Based on what you just said Pogba isn't the finished article too. They are both similar age and have played in the same league.

Your the one that puts words into peoples mouth and asks questions about whether we would sell this and that.

Again baed on what you just said above is pointing to Pogba not be good enough and by your view on him, he isn't even suited to Premier League . So would you sell him? .

So there we have it, Le Professeur has finally stepped down, least he'll leave in a respectable manner (hopefully) after receving s**t loads of abuse in the past few years. Absolutely loved our games against Arsenal all them years ago, two icons of the PL went head to head and it couldn't have been any better. All the talk about Guardiola changing English football this season but it was Arsene in '96 who really brought in a new style, ideas, tactics etc, combining technical skills with pace, power and grit.

Believable10 Unbelievable0

Canā€™t believe itā€™s finally happening. He was amazing when he came and the rivalries with arsenal were so intense I miss them so much. I grew up on united v arsenal, Fergie v Wenger and Keano v vieira. No rivalry has come close to that. If arsenal can get a top manager in and sort out there defence they will be close to challenging imo. Got some very good attacking players. Apparently vieira is being talked about as the replacement. Would be a very interesting signing.

Bang on Scholes. IF Wenger used the funds Guardiola got to use or spent the money he did. I reckon he wouldve got a similar type of season this year if not better.

I enjoyed Aresenals team over the years and the way they played rather then this Guardiola team.

Are joking? Wenger went a full season undefeated he was a fantastic manger but them days have gone.
Arsenal have underperformed for a few seasons now and even with an extra 100 mill wouldn't be on city's level .
Been a fantastic manager but past his best now.

For Wenger to keep them in champions league for the amount of consecutive years like he did, with the amount of top players leaving each other is a great achievement. Infact a very big achievement.

He took on Fergie with his teams and the way he played attacking football. I reckon the owners of Arsenal football club were just happy with the champions league footie each year hence why as soon as they are not achieveing that this year is the year Wenger has decided to quit.

His main aim was to qualify for champions league in the last 10 years which he did exceptionally with the type of player he had.

When you are a manager you are only mirroring what your owners expect of you and the expectations in the last 10 years at Arsenal was to qualify for champions league based on what we saw in terms of funds available, players moving away and players signed.

Haha mort šŸ˜‚. Agree jred Wenger was great but he should have gone 5 years ago. A legend but itā€™s said how his reputation has taken a hit the last few years. hope he gets the send off he deserves as itā€™s an end of an era of managers staying long term at clubs. If they get Tuchel they will be a force next year.

Agree1 Disagree1

20 Apr 2018 13:30:08
I don't think Tuchel is all that tbh. His Dortmund team wasn't particularly great (Klopp's were better) and I cannot see him taking Arsenal from where they are now to title challengers.

Game of fine margins. Always had a lot of respect and admiration for Wenger, but probably stayed on too long. If SAF hadn't bought RVP, and won the title in his last year, I sometimes wonder if he would have been tempted to stay on to oversee another challenge. If so, and he failed, we might be talking about him, with the same open disdain that we've seen from Arsenal fans over the last few years. Sorry, just waffling.

He was an inspired and brave choice as manager by the Arsenal board at the time, after Rioch and Graham. No one had really heard of him. His ideas revolutionised the Premiership and his and Arsenal's rivalry with Ferguson's United was incredible. Some of the best games I have ever watched.
I agree, Jardim would be a good choice for them.

20 Apr 2018 13:46:00
Ed004 - I know mate, the kind of manager that some of us wanted to take over at Man United, but it is what it is. as SAF said we have to stand by the manager, regardless of who it is.

Agree0 Disagree1

20 Apr 2018 18:33:03
Sad to see him go, at one point I hated everything about him. However, as I've aged I've realised it was born out of him being a great manager and him denying my club titles and adulation. He will be a loss to the EPL. However, in recent seasons he has shown signs of not aging well. He has become stuck in his ways, refusing to adapt to a new football landscape and has become redundant as a result. His team's had the same old failings every year. You knew how Arsenal's season was going to go, where they would drop points and why. So for the good of the competition a manager with a more modern approach who can get Arsenal challenging again would be good.

I wish him all the best, maybe a spell in international football might suit him before a deserved retirement.

I hope Arsenal don't get Jardim, he could be very good for them. I'd like to see Rodgers given the role. I think the Arsenal job would suit him better than the Liverpool one did. His weakness is he likes the spotlight too much and takes his eyes off the ball. At a club like Liverpool like ours there is a massive spotlight. The players at Arsenal suit how Rodger likes to try and play. Also I would like to see a British manager given a chance at a top club.

21 Apr 2018 07:41:47
The end of a long era, there are similarities to our transition from SAF however there are differences. Wenger is not leaving with the team at the top so for the new manager they will likely there is only one way to go and have less pressure. It will be interesting to see how they see the next appointment. They are a big club that have accepted lower expectations to accommodate their manager, will that change overnight? Will they suddenly turn into that success driven cut throat club? I doubt it, what they are means they can appoint someone like Vieira and give him time.

They should learn from the debacle we went through twice after Busby and SAF, their appointment is tougher than any other they have done. I would go with Loew if I was them but I canā€™t see them going for Moyes though.
