I know were the bigger club and a bigger brand but I also know I'd rather have Sneidjer on my back than Ganso
Dear unnamed poster
I would prefer Paulo Henrique(ganso) than sneijder anyday

Italia are showing Footage of Carlos (Five Bellies) Tevez on holiday in Sardegna with his family, happily sunbathing when Inter Sporting Director, Marco Branca goes over to shake his hand. It seems they are staying in the same place. Hmmm This isn't speculation it's their main headline.

Is there any truth in the Sneijder-Tevez swap? I'm beginning to think so. They are now tallking about Sneijder to Sh***ty more than United. They also say Sh***y have offered Daniele De Rossi a 9m Euro P/A contract & he is very tempted, as well as what Sky in England are saying that they are very close to closing the Aguero deal.

And I Did tell you all Vidal was going to Juve But all i got was "No way, he's going to Bayern"
Sanchez HAS Signed For Barca as i said he would.
Fabregas Next for Barca as you know.

We Need to move faster in the market otherwise Sh***y will just stop us buying whoever we want,
just to Stop Us. I personally think Sneijder would choose us if he left Inter as would Nasri, but money talks at the end of the day

Ed my friend, any news on what's happening with N'Zogbia it seems he wants to go to Villa but I think he'd much rather perfer us, I think top priority at the club must be if jags goes 20 million would sign Scott Dann, N'zogbia and the signing I think we need to add pace to the right hand side LEWIS HOLTBY three quality signing but we'd all perfer to sign somebody with Jagielka staying with the toffee's {Ed007's Note - Are you on the right page mate?}

guys i think if we sign anyone it may be a young midfielder maybe around £10m. but alex has said cleverly ( spelling ) along with wellbeck are staying.. i think hes going to give youngsters (cleverely and morrisson ) and players who havent proved their worth ( anderson ) one last chance, id love to see us buy a world class player but really how often do we do it ? and tbh i trust fegie 100%... anyone agree ?

Instead of having one defensive & one offensive, why not have two that can do both. Pogba & Tunnicliffe can do both.

If you go on the Seattle Sounders website, the blog section and comments make for some interesting reading. Despite the appearance of the crowd singing right until the end, many of them were very disgruntled and some downright outraged. Some calling for their ticket prices to be partially refunded etc. The claim is that while the put up a decent fight in the first half they (and I don't know how) were not expecting to change the whole team around as they did, and they blame the manager for letting ''Rooney torch the b-team''. I'm not sure they realise the scale of the changes we also made, but anyway there is quite an interesting debate going on over there. (Many of their fans are telling the moaners to pipe down saying they ''got what they paid for'' and ''what did you expect, it's man united'')

Not posted in a while bit I thought I'd pipe up

Just to re-iterate, didn't SAF say after UCL final that he wanted to replicate Barcelona

Now he didn't mean going out spending silly money on players to match barca straight away he intends to bed together a group of players from youth and with what we have already so like barca have years of playing together regularly, that's what he is doing buying and bringing through youth to replicate then for many years

I like many would love sneijder to arrive but who knows maybe Tom cleverly will turn out just as good if given the chance which he won't be given If we bring in ganso, sneijder, cambiasso, de Rossi etc..

Trust SAF Sign anyone else or not we will still be the team to beat

I am struggling to understand why nike are getting involved with the sneijder transfer, I know they make ours and inters kits and they sponsor sneijder, but why would they be willing to pay sneijder to come to united when he is already at a nike team?

What do they get out of it?

Diouf is quality, Said it from day one and he looked brilliant last night.

Everybody who's been on his back must now think slightly differently...yes we weren't playing the best side in world football but we can only beat what's put in front of us, his technique, movement and finishing was good.

Anybody know what's happened with him going too Blackpool? I haven't heard anything about it since the weekend?

Oh, btw is there anything i've missed? I've been away for a few days...

Sorry lads, but if Sneijder won't join because he wants more cash than Rooney, then lets not bother with the greedy man. Make a £30m move for Modric and offer him 135k a week. Maybe staying in London won't be such an issue for him then. Triple the lads wages.

'Darks'

I was told by someone who claims to know inside info, he is a retired Scout and he is an Inter fan. He says that Personal terms have been agreed by the player and the club, United have made their bid which hasn't been accepted or rejected, but Inter are waiting for a replacement to bring in before they agree to a sale. I know that talks are no longer taking place too."""""

dear mr Sydney!
ngiak noticed your two posts in the same thread
very confusing
from criticising the player that he MAY potentially be too greedy
to "confirming" that the negotiations are done
so the time between your two posts things got confirmed?
and..
by the way
where is diouf going? heard he scored a goal against seattle?
why is he playing when he has signed for blackpool?

Nani's pass against seattle to set up diouf was one any CM in the world would have been proud of, he is going to have a great season coming up and maybe he has shown signs he wont be greedy anymore.

It could be worth a gamble playing him in the middle a few games as he is hard to shake off the ball, he has shown he can pick a pass, he can shoot from outside the box and he can break from the back into the box.

He would also win us a good few freekicks on the edge of the area which young would benifit from.

What do you guys think?

1redarmy {Ed007's Note - One of my mates (yes I do have them) has said for a while about playing Nani in the middle, I don't know if he could handle the rough and tumble of playing in there TBH}

Guys does anyone think dat we rushed into signing a new goalkeeper. Lindegaard looks top quality and de Gea is very very young.

I'd much rather sign sumone in Mid 20's

United were sharp and clinical in a game against one of the best sides in America, who are halfway through a season and are match fit. Not a single player looked bad. Cannot wait for Saturday to see De Gea, Cleverley, Welbeck, Jones & Smalling in action. Mind you Lindegaard was flawless and Amos was very good too. Anyone with any keeper worries need to watch our latest game in America, our 2nd & 3rd keepers were immense.

Any give anymore information on Obertans performance last night, I have seen the goals and he had a hand in a few and scored too. From what I saw he looks a totally different player.
also looks like he has beefed up alot too, similar to how Ronaldo did.

Thought/Opinions anyone.

ravel Morrison- how much longer do we stand by this guy. A Huge talent but simply not good enough in the attitude department to keep standing by him. How many chances do we give him?

I think Obertan needs to be sent out on loan to progress. So far in pre season he has looked good, but for him to go back to reserve team football would be a waste as he will not progress. He should really have been sent out on loan last season along with Bebe.

I think he maybe able to make it at Utd IF he knuckles down and goes out on loan otherwise end of next season he will be gone.

Hoping Cleverly and Wellbeck come good for Utd too theyve done well at Wigan and Sunderland so now they need to prove it at Utd along with Macheda.

Potentially it could be a very exciting season for us. Maybe even Pogba and Morrison gettting some Carling cup games and maybe FA cup games too.

The emergence of Nani

Cue the fastest progression of a premiership player since Frank Lampard Nani, who seemed to take the rise and rise of surprise acquisition Valencia as a personal affront. Transforming his frustratingly na ve approach play, often lacking in basic positional awareness and decision making, into one of the top three players in the league this season, contributing to a staggering 41 goals in 43 games. It has perhaps been this statistic more than any other which has helped Berbatov re-discover his scoring touch. Great credit must go to Phelan and the coaching staff for this change around, as well as the forward line adaptation. Here we can see a typical Nani performance as he constantly penetrated the Blackburn defence, putting the hapless Chimbonda to the sword on numerous occasions, but vitally, coming inside and varying his approach (Nani has worked hard on his left foot in the last 12 months, and this is now paying dividends in the form of goals and assists).

A must read for all Berbatov lovers/haters www.stretford-end.com/blog/2011/02/berbaflop-or-berbarotica-the-essential-analysis/

Read in the sun that AOC wants a move to a top four prem team this summer, anybody know what our chances are or is it almost certainly arsenal?

i don't know if this is the best time of night to say this but here goes.
I have said a couple of times that if we'd have lost the league last season then we would have lost in on our away form, i feel we did so poorly away from home because we don't have anyone to boss the centre of the park. In saying this though i feel the role of a defensive midfielder has changed, no longer is it the tough tackling war lord ala Keane but a more tactical approach that is needed a DM is required to make more interceptions now and shield the back four with good positioning rather than crunching tackles whilst still retaining a physical presence, also a DM is expected to have more of a role in starting and helping with the attacking play as well. I disagree that we need an attacking midfielder as i really expect Anderson to have a good season we also have Giggs Cleverley and Morrison who can play that role, also to play with an AM then really you need a midfield three which would mean dropping either Rooney or Hernandez which also considering were abit overloaded with strikers i would expect us to play 2 up top more often next year. So what we really need is a presence in the centre who can be creative and can play as part of a 2 or 3 in midfield, also unless they are gonna be world class then i don't think it worth spending the money on them as we have Fletcher and Carrick as well as Jones now who can play that role so whoever we buy should be an improvement on these 3. Thats why i've narrowed the list down to Arturo Vidal, Javi Martinez and Moussa Sissoko. These three offer everything we need and are world class players, if we can't sign any of them then i feel it best to stick with what we have rather than bring mediocore players in who will just get in the way of our youngsters.
Let me know what you think.
