Clowns, they have a lot to do with their time. Go way and do something usefull with life. Go talk to someone but make sure it's face to face, help out people older people who might need a bit of help.
Your free time might actually help someone, wake up to yourself and go try something new, something useful in life.

Fully aware this probably won’t happen but just read today that Meyer is without a club. Would you guys take a punt on him on a free transfer? Always an interesting player from what I’ve seen. Could be great, or could be a kleberson.

Not sure more sulking and over inflated egos are what we require right now.

There’s probably a reason he doesn’t have a club.

He apparently thinks he should be earning a lot of money, more than most clubs think he's worth.
Yes, I would take a chance with him but only if he stopped massaging his ego.

I watched the friendly and i was really impressed with the maturity of never Tahith Chong. He also put in a cross that lead to mata's goal that we never see anyone doing out if martial, rashford, mata or lingard.
So it was disappointing to hear Mourinho saying he is not ready and belongs in the academy. This is the most frustrating thing that United fans will hear, as we've grown up watching young players blossoming at our club. If I'm not mistaken, Ronaldo was a first teamer at 18yrs, Raheem Sterling started playing for Liverpool at 17yrs. Fabregas for Arsenal at 18yrs! Rashford started for United at 18yrs.
I really wanted to see Chong and Gomes near the first team this year. But it seems Mourinho has reverted to type and is holding them back. They are both exciting talents playing in attack, not in central defence, so why not take a punt on them?

If you had bothered to hear/ read what the manager said in full you would have noted that he said Chong is ready in all aspects except his physique. The boy is so skinny, epl defenders will make mince meat of him. I say give the boy time to grow into his frame. Rushing a young player who isn't ready will kill his career. He also said he will play in cup games. Is that not how all young players are introduced to the 1st team. I understand people wanting him and Gomez in the team, but I also understand why the manager isn't rushing them.

On a side note I think Chong will be as good as Arjen Robben.

Jessie was held back for same reasons.
Good management by the club.

Watching through the highlights, Chong looks a very well rounded player, good speed, nice control, smart decision making, and can tackle. But he needs to bulk up and he needs to be playing against better opponents. He was being directed by the defenders to many times and when it was a 50 50 ball he seemed to come off worse more than not due to being out muscled.

Looks a great prospect and if he played more directly I could see his inclusion in the main squad but he needs to develop a little more in my opinion before he is ready for a regular bench role.

He should rightly be protected. Throwing him in now because he is technically ready is taking a big risk. What if he was to sustain a career threatening injury because his physique is not quite there for the premiership?
That would be disastrous.

I think he’s in the same boat as Gomes, they have to grow into their frames. Like Jose said the plan is to develop chong by training with the first team on a regular basis which will help him massively. I’m sure the same is the plan with Gomes. Greenwood however looks incredibly strong for a 16 year old. His first involvement was a few step overs and a good effort with his left foot. Showed great confidence which is amazing to see from someone so young.

Unruly, Apoligies if i misunderstood Mourinho. So look forward to seeing the youngsters introduced at some stage.
I didn't see sterling who wad much smaller and lighter being kicked off the pitch by opponents. I didn't see beckham or giggs being battered by big hulk defenders. And the league was more physical at that time.
Our league is less physical than it used to be, so this argument doesn't hold true any more.

Why didn't Fergie let Lingard break into the team i thought it was because of him being very small and weak.

Agree0 Disagree1

Why did fergie let beckham, scholes, giggs, neville brothers and butt break into the team? Non of them were built like rugby players. So that argument doesn't hold Singh.
Lingard by his own admission was a late developer in terms of his technique not his physique. He himself, said last year that something clicked within him.

AAA have you seen Chong? Is he the same size as Beckham at that age?
Besides size, the pressure of playing for one of the biggest clubs could be too much for a young player not just him. I understand Mourinho isn't the right coach for young players, and I wish it was someone else at the helm. But I understand why he won't be starting games for the first team.

They were all over 20 by the time they were regulars AAA with tje exception of giggs. Who was an exception.
Becks has good loan spell at Preston. He too was held back due to his physique as was scholes who was initially a forward. don't be talking nonsense. 1 part of a pre season friendly and with o 1st team experience you want them thrwn in? Really?
No not really. You are just looking for yet another reason to have a whinge about the manager. Ironically you whine daily or have a daily negative whinge about the manager you call a negative whinger. 😂😂.

Brckham and co were all english. This kid has just had a career threatening injury and is frm a foreign country and very young so there is a huge difference in someone growing in the uk all their life compared to Holland.

Chong has had a truly awful injury. Physically he is not ready, you don’t need to be kicked about by defenders to not physically be ready for top level football. In the 23s he doesn’t play 50 odd games a season, his body needs to develop to be able to cope with that’s something which will come with time. He’s just turned 18!

AAA has no idea about ching or his injury or his capabilities provably has never seen him play a full 90 mins for Any team. Just a reason to moan. Gomes is still 17 jose gave him a little taster last season so he made his 1st team appearance earlier than either neville becks scholes and butt. But why let tje truth get in the way of a reason to moan.

Nobody thought Rashford was ready and look how he stormed it. I’d love to see a few on the bench in the League Cup and hey half an hour here and there.

Probably rash got too much too early. But that was forced due to having nobody else at the time that was fit. Rash suffering for it now imo. Too much unrealistic expectation. He is a sub that everyone things can do better except the managers that keep making him a sub.
