Oh dear well to say that was disappointing is an understatement!
Perfect example for the old cliche
"A game of two half's"!

On a positive note I thought Rojo had a very good game considering how long he's been out. Pogba was good without being outstanding.

I have no idea what's happened to Herrera? Does he play a forward pass anymore?!

I must confess I don't understand the Lukaku/ Ibra situation? There is absolutely no way in this world that Lukaku is better out wide than either Rashford or Martial. Either play them together in a 4-4-2, 3-5-2 or not at all.

Still struggling for consistency, reminded me slightly of the Huddersfield game, i'm not entirely convinced the attitude was right in the second half it was certainly one for the style Police anyway!

A game best forgotten roll on Saturday!

This game once again showed our need for genuine wingers and for a player with creative brilliance. Also as much as I like Blind he is not a top class left back and Darmian is also not good enough. Valencia is good but not great. So to summarise we need two top fullbacks, a winger and someone who can win a match on their own.

I thought it showed what happens if you don't take your chances, we should of been 4 or 5 up at half time .
Looks like Jose will try and shoehorn lukaku and ibra into the same team .

Lukaku left wing? And ibra playing the 9 but standing on the half way line with no one up top .

That said very good first half played with a good tempo, really Should of put the ball in the net tho.

gotta question some of the tactical substitutions. team lost balance.

Did ibra score all 28 of his goals last season from the half way line?

Did lukaku play on the left wing for United last season?

Not sure what last season has to do with the match last night.

Ken
For someone who doesn't support any player I think really you do .
But then I suppose you have to justify your lack of support for all the others.

Nearly a 100 mil for a striker to push him out to the left wing to make way for a 36 year old to stand on the half way line .

They don't both fit in the team we saw that last night?
Strange decision by Jose which in the end cost us the game .

# support all players except ibra# classic.
Lukaku scored coming off the wing at the weekend
I don't think both should play together unless booth are up front I 352 or 442
I think the substitutions were wrong with the exception of pogba.
Didn't really expect to win when i saw the team too many poor players starting last night.

And you support them all NOT.
I said I don't care about players when they have gone. But as usual a bit like the sun you just make stuff up I put that down to your lack of intelligence and ignoeance.

Reading the every reliable MEN paper, there is a story about Real Madrid doing a big clear out this summer of 10 players. The usual lazy link of Bale to United is then made. I am not sure I want Bale at United, but that is not why I am here.

Another player linked with the exit is Modric. This one caught my attention. He would be turning 33 at the start of next season, but as a squad option, would people consider him?

Ed002 have provided good insight on Madrid rumours page, they will be big changes there, Hoping De gea doesn't end there.

Wouldnt take Modric due to age but is a very good player. We need to build for the future, there are good talents out there we should target.

Wouldn’t touch bale reddub as his injuries have caught up with him. On form he’s up there with the best but he has missed something like 60 out of the last 80 games.

I saw the Modric link. Absolutely love him think he is such a classy player and always wanted him to replace Scholes when he was at spurs. I would definitely take him but he has not been great this season. Either way he would be that player that gets on the ball i'm midfield and calms the team down and sets the tempo of the team. We massively lack someone who can do that in the big games away from home.

Well Modric would be a much better option than fabregas. Would be a great alternative and option for us if we are unable to get our 1st choice Savic.

I would take modric 100% he is still more than caable to ply his trade in the prem. Very good short term option.

We need to follow the city model which used to be our model. No point buying older players as every season you have to rebuild. We need to have top quality youngsters ie 18 to 24 who will bond grow and mature together through shared experience. The key is buying or bringing through top quality. If Madrid are getting rid of so many players it would be stupid to buy their oldest ones.

22 Nov 2017 19:38:31
We would be buying Modric whilst City integrate a young dynamic Foden, doesn’t work for me. We have cried out for pace and power so when Madrid struggle with an ageing Modric some think it is a good option. Too old now, move on.

A squad needs leaders. Players who have won things and done it all before. Men who the youngsters can look up to and respect. That's why having Zlatan and Matic and Mata is important. That's why Larsson and Blanc were invaluable. When SAF retired, we had very few in the squad. I remember one time when we had something like six national team captains in one match day team.
