Just watched first half tonights game, i sincerely hope SAF isnt relying on cleverly to step up to the plate and be a first team regular coz admitedly ownly one half but he looks out of place and done v.little. Welbeck looks v.v sharp and carrick showing his experience. im going for 3 - 1 to us boys.

Congrats to Bebe for his first goal for besiktas. Didn't see it but his names on the scoresheet. Long may it continue. And a mention to pogba for yet another wonder goal. The lad really is something like. Getting a lot of attention from the coaches during the preseason games. Carlling cup and early fa aside. Is it poss they gearing him up for more than that? Anybody else looking forward to seeing De Gea, Smalling and Jones together tonight? I rally hope SAF has the three of them playing together for at least 30 mins undisturbed. Will give a few doubters the chance to see whats instore for the future.

Also hoping Welbeck, Obertan, Kiko and Cleverley get 60, 60, 45, 60 mins respectively get a good look at them all.

The futures bright with these guys.

Just a thought - is there a benefit in the transfer being delayed till later in the pre-season? Say he joined and was on £250K a week wages or £1m a month, United will save £2m in wages by signing at the end of August compared to the beginning of July...?

blair mate. Point was more the yin yang. Was trying give it the bigger picture and you had to get in another corruption charge Ha nice work. For what its worth though, think kenny deserves some recognition. But at least as manager you can't compare the two can you really? me not being the queen can't answer good enough. But to the point, AGAIN.. its a murkey world out there, no doubts, top down in and out of football. If you want a pure life then dump everything that's around you, and i mean everything but the people around you and all respects if you do. If man united supporters want a strong run club with entertaining football then you gotta admit the right man is there. And as for taxes don't get me started. The people and system behind it make alex look a saint. The point is in that world it isn't enough just to be a good manager. Think of old shakespears take on weilding power and just imagine the countless business men that have crossed paths With Alex. I don't have much doubt there's ethics being crossed, for sure I don't idolise the man blindly. But the man deserves respect for surviving that world so long. But you gotta admit he wouldn't have survived this long without good principles in equal measure. He's worked hard all his life and encourages those under him to succeed and fulfill their potential it can't be all for selfish gain. Just trying to get some realistic balance on it. System sucks though but it aint ever gonna change. Where there's a lot of money and alot at stake you can be sure Ethics are being crossed. But believe me or not when you cross it too much. Life has a way of bringing you to ruin and i'd be shocked if alex goes out like that. Sure its possible he's knee deep in it and kept a lid on it and the press don't like it but they've made such a dill of it with little proof of anything. It hasn't made me convinced he's more suited to leadership in thailand. Cons red
