Great win and a big weekend ahead.
Southampton are scrapping for their survival so it won't be easy.
Hopefully rash will be fit.
Either one of spurs are arsenal will drop points a draw their would be ideal imo.
Poch seems to be morphing into a jose type mentality and they are now back in the scrap for 4th with 2 spots up for grabs between 4 teams. Its going to go down to the final game of the season i think and goal diff could well play a part.

Great 3 points tonight, think spurs are getting dragged into the mix now too. There is a great spirit in the club now on the pitch and the side lines, think we'd be mad to turn down Ole and what this group has achieved. I'm not saying we'd be top of the league but we could be another 8-10 points better off had this happened much sooner. The right attitude is there now, and even with the extra running and work on the pitch and in training the players are much happier. You'd be mad to ignore this setup with Ole and his team of coaches.

I agree, it’s got to be worth a try, see if they can continue the progress longer term.
I’d give Ole a two year contract with a club option to extend to two more. Then support them with the key positions we all know need filling and go from there.
I think we would be closer to challenging than in the last 5 years.
The record since Ole and Co took control.

Great to see lukaku back in the goals, will do him the world of good as he has looked liw in confidence of late .
Lot been said about him not fitting the system but i don't see that, he is an on the shoulder striker that works well in a fast tempo attacking team .
Should fit the system just been in poor form but the lad is a goalscorer.

Lukaku scores goals. He is playing in a different system tonight to the one he looked out of sorts in to be fair but anyone who doubts whether lukaku will score if given chances would be wrong.

Lukaku scores goals I don’t think anyone denies that. But his touch is horrific and he loses the ball a lot and affects the fluidity of the attack to often.

He was bought to score goals. I guess you’d rather we signed someone who has exceptional control but can't score as it would Benefit out fluidity.

Each player has their own weaknesses and strengths.
Lukaku has improved a bit in build up play but his first touch is the one that let's him down.
He is a good option to have in our forward lineup.

MDL, your allowed to be a goal scorer and have a decent touch. It’s not one or the other. He is poor often when he plays a lot.

I say we start chong and gomes tonight along with sanchez in a front 3. Give these 2 a chance and we could be very pleasantly surprised at what they can offer. I'd say that potentially they can be the replacements for sanchez and lukaku in the summer. Ole will get the job, and we have a manager that will give them their chance and don't have to spend fortunes on attacking players so we have the money to strengthen the defence properly.

Joined Real on the back of a few excellent seasons, but looks less and less effective every season since. Is it a case of wrong club, injuries, or bad attitude?
Plus, why has he stayed for so long when he looks so unhappy there?

Danny, I read something recently about his team mates calling him "the golfer" which if true says a lot about how little he's integrated.

Wazza, I’ve heard the golf thing before. Pretty sure that there was a rumour few years back that he kept agrivating injuries because he refused to stop playing golf when he was out.

Injury free (which seems to be an issue with him) i'd still love him at united. He may have lost a half yard but even still on his day he's top drawer. If he wanted to leave he'd likely cost a fortune I'd imagine. it's not my money though so it'd not bother me.

Pretty sure those selling the pictures based on Panini stickers has caused Uniteds Multi Million pound merchandising a few problems? Why not just laugh and give their blessing to a small Kompany?
