Just watched the game. Buzzing. The whole team equally terrific.. T'was thinking yesterday mauling coming. 5 0 maybe, was leaning towards giving the gooners one goal but not for a minute did I think eight for us.

The old man is a genius.

The team is much more dynamic and all happened seamlessly. Thats the genious of it. Virtually new team that looks like its been playing together for years. We made arsenal look a pretty pub team. weakened team? dont give a toss. full advantage taken.

Tony Cascarino. You are a clown To say a player was having a 'holocaust' of a game is not only offensive, but shockingly ignorant. You should be sacked on the spot for that, and never allowed to be a pundit again. It's bad enough that you haven't a clue about football, and you're voice being the most annoying thing in the world, but to say something like that is just unbearably stupid. How Sky Sports employed you is just beyond me. You should get a brain transplant, because the one you have clearly has no function. I would expect an apology from you, but you would probably end up making that offensive aswell.

Two fantastic games today - although lost power here in Boston due to Hurricane Irene and missed City Spurs from 3-0 on. Power restored to catch the end and no issues for the United game.

Both Manchester clubs made a BIG statement today..City will push hard this season.

I think however some here are in danger of not seeing the wood for the trees. We need this player, we are lacking this....

Look at the players available, the options these players offer, the competition for places and the balance to the squad.

Defence (albeit De Gea is still the weakest link) is solid with Rio, Vidic and the twins all still out.

SAF has a lot of options with the players available and knows he can use a lot of these guys in different positions.

Jones/Fletcher if you need to have more bite in the middle.

Experience in the form of Giggs, Carrick and Park to rotate / help Cleverley / Andersen continue to develop.

Forwards that are a real scoring threat - even without having started the leading scorer from last year. Wellbeck's injury shows the need for the depth and I expect to see Berba featuring soon.

Valencia still to start and Chica catching up.

Nani still to hit form.

Young and Rooney a threat to any defence.

I like what I'm seeing and I'm sure SAF does too.

This team will score goals. This team will challenge on all fronts.

Don't think we will sign anyone now..we will wait till next summer and sign 18 year old Jose Manuel Iturbe. Mendes is his agent so that will probably make things go smoother, United DO have first option on him at the end of the season after he has had plenty of European experience this season. Nothing going on in January either, other than maybe an unheard of player like Diouf and Manucho were.

I think Jones could be an awesome DM as he has the composure and drive to make him a success as a DM, but equally he is a superb defender and i think he will partner Vidic in the middle of defence along with Smalling at RB. I glad that Fergie has bought and promoted English players. It will help Utd and England out long term. Look at Scottish football loads of foreigners and no scottish players... if were not careful we will end up not qualifying for euros and world cups etc. I think that too many people want all the foreign top players to be brought then make out if don't buy them then we won't win anything.

Its time to stop looking at the sun star, mirror etc who report rubbish most of the time. They print rubbish so that they can sell more papers.

good performance from you guys but dont forget we were so weak and understrengthed we just lost t v and sagna at the last minute. had we had them and wilshere, song, gerviho and frimpong etc we would have given you a game.

Great result today, Fair enough Arsenal wer weakened but you have to beat who's put infront of you and we certainly did that, You guys happy with our squad or do you think we need 1 more? I personally think wer sorted and dont need any1 else... also, Rooney was my captain this week in the fantasy league, HAPPY DAYS

I'm watching united arsenal match on sky. we're slaughtering them they got lucky with the goal de gea saved a penalty but let walcott's shot through his legs. so far:
de gea: 6/10 saved a weak penalty from RVP but made a massive error later on.
evra: 8/10 done well getting up and some brilliant crosses.
smalling: 10/10 putting in the tackles at the back then springing forward and making amazing passes.
evans:4/10 gave a penalty and been letting RVP, rosicky and walcott past him all day.
jones: 7/10 alright been making some good interceptions at the back.
young: 10/10 brilliant. crosses, shots and passes were all better than everyone else's.
nani: 6/10 has put in some alright crosses.
anderson: 9/10 some amazing passes and crosses.
cleverley: 5/10 nothing to say.
rooney: 9/10 amazing goal ang good crosses.
welbeck: 7/10 good goal and unlucky with his injury.
hernandez: don't know, he's only just come on.

With the Singapore floatation getting closer let us call upon the Glazers to use the money they make to clear some of the clubs debt. Hopefully this will be the start of them clearing off but lets make sure they don't do a runner and leave a big debt. First time i've had a deek at the Utd page being a Liverpool fan. Ed007 if you post this,in your heart of hearts Kun doesn't get near Suarez,no where near. You can say Little Pea,i think he is a class act but not in Suarez's class. And i doubt he'd alert Liverpool to Coates if he wasn't going to hang around. Why would he leave a team that top players in January after they see were we are. Its defo a 3 way race. Write him off all you want but when Gerrard's back,he'll make in even bigger difference. Belive me,we've got the bargain of the season in Enrique and we're still getting better and better. Your keeper could turn out to be a world beater but i wouldn't ever take the piss out of the prices we've paid with how much he cost. He's a young man and like some Liverpool fans were jumping down Henderson's throught you have to give young players more then 2 or 3 games to judge them. I truly belive that we'll push you more then most this season and your the team to beat no doubt,but when the s**t hits the fan,it'll be a close run race that should be fun to watch. Kun Ed007, behave,galls me to say it but your number ten is better then him. 3-0 i'm afraid to say tomorrow,Arsenal really are in bad shape and if Vermulen was injured they'd be even in more crap that their in already,dont know who or how but easy 3 points for you's tomorrow. Who thinks with a win against Arsenal tomorrow, SAF will pick up Manager of the month award?

Only other options could be McCarthy, Mancini and possibly Dogleash.
