TK you are being a bit of a kn*b today. Snapping at me and lfc. We all know Gerrard and Scholes are two fantastic players, we will say Gerrard is better you will say Scholes, let's leave it there. It all started by some mancs taking a joke to heart. Also on lfc's point of YNWA, we didn't "steal" it at all. Don't be ridiculous. Everyone knows how quiet Old Trafford is you have never been known as a noisy set of fans, we always have. Having been to Old Trafford on numerous ocassions with Liverpool your pre match song was embarassing. So you are in no position to judge. Name me a time your fans have had an Istanbul HT moment singing to inspire the team? Never you only sing when your winning or when you have just scored. So you will always lose an argument about fans. If one person tells me you have the best away fans in the league. Lol. That's rubbish, and only a small amount of your fans believe it, no one else. Outsung by Chelsea at your own ground says all you need to know about your support.

Not strictly about United but about football in general. If you were given the power to change/implement 3 rules by FIFA what would those rules be? What do you think needs changing most about how football is run?

My three rules would be.

1, A clubs wages should not exceed more than 50% of the clubs annual turnover.

2, At least 15 of a 25 man squad should be "home grown" players with at least 10 coming from the clubs own academy/youth system.

3, Disrespectful language or behaviour towards or infont of a referee is an automatic 3 game ban(no exceptions).

I feel this would provide a more even playing field for clubs in terms of signing players as it would stop wages being inflated to such propertions that some clubs are forced into administration trying to compete. It would force clubs to work more with young players and move things away from buying sucess as it will have to be earned by developing the best talent, as a by product of this the level of quality will increase in young players and this will increase the quailty of football on the whole. And the third rule would bring respect back into the game and towards the referees thus making players better role models for young people in soceity.

let me know what you'd do.

Lfc....... Maybe your right, maybe some people on this page would rather talk more of your club then there own but I suppose we all need a little comedy from time to time. Me, I'd rather talk about what really matters - MUFC.... HERBIE

Those of you who have been reading this site for some time will remember that a couple of years ago I spoke about a special unit being set up by HMRC to investigate football clubs especially over image rights. I can tell you that City have been squeaky clean over payments and even phone the unit up for advice. United though may be in trouble especially over buying back the debts. Keep your eyes open. At The end of the day fergy, has to have a avenue to keep player having hunger. This is a way of finding out to has the inner desire to succeed. Money will come with success. If play can't see this the. No really a true winner and will not develop in to a true world class player. Ronnie's desire as well as messi is to be worlds best no be on the highest wages. Good luck with his career if his lacking correct focus at this age. I hope it's just agent and he love us and stays to prove me wrong.

'Diego 2006' wtf are you on. I am typing not speaking, is that to hard to grasp? You say ask Zidane, is this the same Zidane as the one who described Stevie as the best all round player in the world a couple of years back and said he was one of the best all round players he has ever played against? Xavi and Iniesta said Steven was"the most difficult opponent they'd ever faced" when signing his shirt after the match. At least you left a name unlike the other sad people who chose to give me stick without leaving a name. Embarassing. LFC 61-60 MUFC. Still the most sucessful team in England and long may it continue ; )

Following on from my post on the rumour page 15:29 ------ It seems to me we are not having a transission period, were having a bit of a nightmare. Surely a transission is bringing younger players through to replace the older ones nearing the end of there career but it seems there has been a reluctance to give youth a chance to prove there worth... Why. I think the young uns are basically getting fed up and feel there been held back in there career, all they want is a little more first team action, sub appearances at least. Who can blame them for wanting out if there not been given a chance to show what they can do, and if some clubs are offering silly money to them it only gives them more reason to leave.... This 'transission' period seems like it will be out with the old and out with the young, the only question is, where will that leave us considering we also have the Glazers as owners.... HERBIE

with barclays being forced to pay retrospective taxes, part of which is for buying back debt and not paying corporation tax on it (which is technically legal and something the glazers have been doing to reduce our own debt) are man united in danger of the same thing happening to us

Sorry its just copy and paste lads but some decent news none the less

Tom Cleverley is on target for a quickfire return against Atletic Bilbao next week as a scan on his injured ankle reveals there to be no serious problem, according to the Manchester Evening News.

As we lead up to the friendly I hope we get to get a good look at Maher, Ola John and Leroy Fer. I think they are all possible candidates for a move to us!

What do you guys think about Hĺvard Nordtveit? He has been intrumental for Borussia Mönchengladbach in Bundesliga this season. I know he has been an Arsenal player, but he is only 22 years old and looks the real deal. Anyone watched the Bundesliga this season?

Quick question. I think Sydney touched on it earlier on. Rangers have just been kicked in the proverbials for using EBT's and not considering the backlash from HMRC. correct me if i'm wrong but do we not use this method? Are we on top of this situation with the subsequent tax? Hate to see our transfer kitty disappear as a result!

If the scousers wanna come on here and talk big about their "new dawn"(i think she's the new tea lady) then let them, we know better. don't let it wind you up and don't bite. This is their new great team but it's not even their best team in the last five years, i remember seeing names like Torres Alonso and Mascherano, as well as Gerrard before he was injury prone and Carragher before he was past it, who do they have now? well they still have Carragher and Gerrard but both are a shadow of their former selves either due to age or injury for Alonso read Adam for Mascherano read Henderson and for Torres read Carroll. If thats progress then they can keep it. The fact is they have slipped beyond our consideration now, yes they have done well to win the Carling cup but they did well to win the champions league 7 years ago with a much better team and look how they've progressed. Unless they get a Man City sized investment then they will never return to their past glories, all they can hope for is a good cup run. Kenny is 63 and he doesn't have the staying power or appatite of Sir Alex and deep down they know they've only got him for a couple more years three at most by which time even if he's turned it around it'll be down to another manager to finish what Kenny will have started and would they want to? or would they wanna do things their way and put their stamp on it? Will that work? do we beleive the top players in the world will turn down the title challenging teams who are competing in the champions league to join also rans who are playing in the europa league like Camoli thinks? course not. Let these Scouse fools have their day as they don't get many. I think of them as my baby brother who is desperatly trying to beat me at something cus he always feels second best, he saviours any little win like its the changing of the tides but alas it's just another false dawn(where is my tea? lol).

Shappy {Ed001's Note - Kenny is 60, not 61 for a few days yet Shapster!}
