Hi all, everyone read news. follows someone. different sites. so my question is which are the players you mostly seem will join and leave. for me Savic, Jorginho, Sandro, RB (no names), Varane and wild card dybala. Out goings will be Shaw, Jones, Blind, Fellaini, and wildcard Mata.

I would like those players to join. But considering the prices touted to those players, I am not sure the club will be able to fund all of them.

I reckon 3-4 in and the same out. It’s never as many as people expect it to be. As for names, certainly a mid and fullback. Would love Dybala but realistically similar to Sanchez and hasn’t Mourinho already said the attack is sorted?

What a delight watching Spain v Argentina. Spain have an incredible team. Strong in every department. But isco and thiago will transform our midfield. If Isco is unhappy at Madrid as some reports suggest, then I hope United are first in line for his signature. Thiago played a deeper role but made incredible runs and his passing is fantastic.
United lack technical players in midfield and mourinho should be concentrating on buying a couple of them instead of buying big cumbersome players.

The frustrating thing is Sir Alex had identified Thiago as a solution to our midfield issues before he retired. He viewed Thiago as the creative silk and Kevin strootman as the destructive steel. Both players were lined up and the clown Moyes came in and ballsed up the potential deals as he was not sure and wanted to make up his mind on the players. Nothing happened and we panick bought the wig paying a premium.

Oh how different things could have been with those two in the team.

it's hard to know where my money should go for the world cup, man for man I like the look of France and Belgium but Spain Brazil and Germany seem to perform better as team units I'm leaning towards Brazil but Spain have me wavering on it .
Let's hope utd already know their targets so there's no paying over the odds for players who have a good showing at the world cup but haven't done enough to warrant the fees in general, sissoko and James spring to mind .

I really enjoyed seeing Argentina getting pumped. Regards contenders. Brazil never really do well at European world cups. i'd go Germany or Spain.

The strength in depth that France have is incredible, Deschamps doesn’t seem to be the man to get a tune out of that team though.

My money is on Spain. Strong defence. Unbelievable midfield. And attack is superb.
So exciting and brilliant technically. Isco will be the player of the tournament.

Scouted the odds Spain do look decent value at 15/ 2 and 12/ 1 for Belgium is tempting solid defense and hazaard and kdb attacking, I don't make them amongst the very favourites but 12/ 1 seems worth a punt as man for man there up there with anyone .

A quick titbit on alli from a spuds supporter, kane and erikson regularly go for meals with their other halves and and on an odd occasion some other players join them, not so deli alli, so what some might think, apparently one or two think he has a lot in common with paul pogba, as in the potential to be the best of the best, but not prepared to knuckle down and do the less glamorous side of the game, basically a player jose would have to mould or have fall outs with.

{Ed0333's Note - so Delli Alli doesn’t join Kane, Ericsson and their respective other halves for dinner but nor does my mum & dad. What’s your point?

28 Mar 2018 07:47:04
I didn't know that knuckling down now meant going to meals with your teammates.

I was trying to infer he's become a bit billy big spuds from what the spurs supporter said, hands up, my mistake for
shilly shallying! -has to be said though, cracking player though!

I never go for dinner with any of my work colleagues unless it’s a work function. perhaps I too am a billy big balls.

Or, perhaps I prefer to have dinner with my wife and real friends?
