Armageddon is nearly upon us. Our only hope is that Pep and the greatest team that ever lived in any time ever buck up. What a dire situation. I have my tickets provisionally booked for North Korea in May.

I’ll join you welsh. Don’t think I will be able to take it if they win.

If Liverpool win the league I'll turn off my playstation.

Don't worry lads. When it gets down to squeaky bum time and all the players and Klopp come out with the usual "we're just going to treat every remaining game as a cup final" everything will be grand because Klopp will lose every one of them.

After seeing their celebrations after the West Brom game, I dread to think what's coming if they actually win the thing.

{Ed0333's Note - it will be the parties of all parties mate.

If they do win it then fair play to them. They play great football, Klopp is a force of nature, he has bought well and made them believe. Like it or not he has brought to Anfield what we have been lacking recently - passion, commitment, team ethos, attacking flair, belief, enjoyment. I won’t be happy but I’ll shake their hands and say well done.

It also puts to bed this nonsense of City being the best team ever, interesting to see how Pep copes as the pressure cranks up.

Right now, City and Liverpool are a big step ahead of everyone else and it reminds me of when United and Arsenal were dominating, I can see the 2 of them battling it out for a few years. Who knows, if Poch had has some money maybe he could have taken Spurs up a level.

Our challenge is to step up to the plate and get the next appointment right. Like it or not, the standard was set last year by City and is now being set by Liverpool.

{Ed001's Note - oh come on, it had to happen one day. Law of averages said he would produce a post like that if he typed enough! ;-)

See, I’m nice to them and they still have to be ‘funny’.

{Ed001's Note - awww we love you really mate, it is our way of showing affection.}

Being nice is something new from United fan bro. All these years with United friends around they are so arrogant and mean when we talk about football. Not always it will be a banter from my United friends. In last few years they are brought back to earth. This turn around I love it.

Now that we have a manager who is willing to give youth a chance, does anyone here think Ole should recall Alex Twuanzebe from Loan? to me he has all the attributes to be a Man Utd player, we keep looking for a centre back but how about Ole give the kid a chance? "If they are good enough they are old enough".

A good call, but we need a top CB to come in, a leader at the back.

I think the four very winnable games over Christmas were where our season either kicks off or or carry on. So far we've won two hopefully we cam win the other two and give ours self's a chance of sneaking into the top four.

That's got to be the hope and its a realistic target. If we can narrow the gap to 2 or 3 points by the end of jan then we are in the mix.
If and when the setbacks come we have to see how we react. Chelsea and arsenal are not at the same level or don't have the strength in depth as the top 3 just now so they will have set backs too.
As you say let's hope we can ride the wave of hope and optimism as long as possible.
Ive a sneaking feeling that a return to form for sanchez may just be the catalyst for the rest of our season.
I know sometimes signings are flops but i'd really like to see him flourish in this new attacking mindset. Of course he could move on in jan but he could turn out to be a big asset under ole or a new coach i don't think he is finished just yet.

Well Arsenal seem t be imploding right now and I’m not convinced by Chelsea so a good run should see us back in the mix.
