And the bitterness from GAGUS comes out as he realizes that his team are secound best in manchester , thanks GAGUS ,tell me if utd get taken over by the same type of people will you complain , and if they did would you tell them to save 500 aldershots , think i know the answer ..............lfc

I would hate United to be in the same bracket as Citeh, Chelsea, PSG, Malaga, Anzhi etc. Anything those teams ever achieve in the future will be cheap. United built their teams with Youth and their own money, money that was earned, not money that was handed to them on a plate. Citeh were nothing in summer 2008. Then the Sheikh turns up and pays nearly a billion in transfer fees and wages, and you think they are bigger than United?

When you see a club like Pourtsmouth strugle to survive and City go out and pay 40million for a striker, is that fair? Pourtsmouth players weren't even being paid, yet City kept on paying out 200,000 a week to their 'superstars' with some rich dude's cash. It makes me sick. Where would Chelsea be without Abramovich's money? The FFP rules will not make a bit of difference, with dodgy sponsorships (Etihad Stadium) happening everywhere to counter this new ruling. It's a part of football that I wish would dissappear.

So, lfc, yes I would complain if some Arab took over United and started paaying 40 and 50 million for mercenaries.

G.A.G.U.S {Ed001's Note - to be fair, Pompey's problems were all of their own making, they went out and wasted millions they didn't have on dross.}

Just seen this on Twitter, found it pretty amusing, from danbamber90 - 'Massive fan of John Terry right now, comedic in fact. Won't be doing stand up though #butterboots'

Thanks to the people that have come on our page and showed their support after our win today. And the 'Arsenal fans' that say we're gonna get revenge or whatever are just being stupid.

I'm so happy that we've come through today with the 3 points as it had me so nervous before and during. Alright it wasn't an outstanding performance to bounce back from last week and silence the critics but there were definite signs of improvement at a tough place to go. The players looked as if they had a point to prove especially the defence and although Everton still had a fair few shots we put bodies on the line. (I thought Phil Jones was particularly excellent again.)
Cleverley showed signs of why we've missed him so much as he is always looking for a forward pass and driving the team on so hope he isn't out too long. Also thought Berbs looked good again when he came on- played his role well.
All in all very happy with the result and definitely think we can push on from this.

Well done lads, not been able to watch the game today, my lads 7th birthday party. But still managed to pop to the bookies, which is a minute down the road. Chelsea make me laugh, whenever people start raving about them, Torres, Boas etc, saying that people are concentrating on the Manchester clubs and not keeping an eye on Chelsea who are sneaking up behind blah blah blah, they go and lose two on the trot which most Chelsea fans expected six points. You have to say it is between us and the blue noses for top spot, with Chelsea in third and Spurs & Arsenal fighting it out for 4th. Liverpool fans must be slightly worried by Arsenal's turnaround. Hodgson's WBA is going to be a tough game today, Liverpool will do well to win there, even though WBA have struggled of late.

3 points and more importantly a clean sheet. We didn't play well especially in the second half but after last week the clean sheet is invaluable. We got lucky with Baines's free, but other than that we restricted them to shooting from long range. Vidic is the difference between our defence being decent and terrible. Cleverly rushed back too soon and injured again. If we had some genuine quality in the centre we wouldn't have to play Rooney out of position or risk Cleverly.

what does the ed think about lucas biligia and the man ac milan and city have been linked to radja nainggolan
two player who could add something some drive and steel to the midfield and fairly cheap and possibly cash in on andersson and carrick which would cover the cost of the two. ive watched nainggolan play for cagliari on the box good engine put himself about box to box what ur view ed cjwales82 (not mouth watering but doesnt mean there not quality) {Ed004's Note - Haven't seen either play, so can't pass judgement}

Hi Guys
Sydney if you are about I posted after the City debacle last week about certain players should be worried about their futures they included Evans and Evra and you replied saying why should they be worried when they continually get picked well having seen the team sheet I totally agree with you.Maybe injuries have forced Fergie's hand but all the time they get away with their poor performances they will not need to endeavour to improve.Of course I hope we win but I'm less optimistic now I've seen those two in the team.

absolutely the worst post i've ever seen on here. Mancini for the united job. Even on the shortlist. No. He's been lucky at every job he's had. He's a chequebook manager. And any fan in the country could have got city top with three hundred million to spend. And i dare say most of us could have spent it better.

From must
FIGURES RELEASED BY Manchester United for the financial year ended 30 June 2011 have shown that the club has paid its owners, the Glazer family, over £16.1m in three years in “management fees”.
 It's now calculated that the total cost of the Glazers’ ownership of the club since their takeover has come to £532m
and they've personally bought more than $10m of the bonds too so now our club is also personally paying them interest on their debt that they have dumped on our club.

Disgusting

KingE {Ed002's Note - How much have the club paid Rooney in three years?}

RamoN 19 {Ed001's Note - the club have not officially confirmed anything, so it is impossible to say for sure, with Fergie in charge and his mindgames, you really can't tell for sure who is out and who is in. I gave up years ago on trying to figure out who is injured and who is just pretending!}

Looks like things are moving along for the youth. Will Keane, Ravel Morrison and Jesse Lingard, have all been registered in the premier league today.

Udinese owner Giampaolo Pozzo has revealed that Alexis Sanchez rejected Manchester City for Barcelona during the summer transfer window.

Sanchez, 22, joined Barca for €26million rising to €37m but they turned down a straight €45m from Manchester City

just goes to show what a difference it makes if the player really wants the move , do people think he was worth that much
