Everyones talking about the Hazard's of this footballing world, but i think the most likely player is Iker Munian from Athletic Bilbao, he'd fit our squad like a glove.

All you guys here give out very contradictory statements with each of your posts. For example
Why is SAF not bringing in any Class midfielders
SAF Should not buy in a hurry
Wait for the proper world class player to be available
Get Rodwell ( How in the world is he Class)
DDG should be given more games to build up his confidence
We cant drop anymore points
Lindegaard is a better keeper but DDG should be given more games
Whatever SAF does is right
SAF should not play the lads out of position
We should buy players who can cover up in 3 or 4 different positions(WHY??)

Fergies done it again proven how useless he and his staff are at spotting a decent keeper. Stuck with 2 totally useless keepers is it going to be another schmichael situation were it takes 6 years to fill the void. Whens he going to admit that he f***ed up in the midfield too due to his inept dealings in the transfer market. Did anyone see the documentary on Mourinho the other day, every player that has played for him absolutely loves him still, people want to play for his team who wants to sign for fergie he's got no pull outside the english market whereas everyone wants to play for Mourinho. If top players are going to sign then MOurinho needs to come in. Time for fergie to go.

"it was a pair of
idiots saying stuff in the heat of the
moment, end of"

And that's pretty much the depth merit of it. Couple of players street talked. Connili mixing it in with the slums on his travels seems to have missed out on it. Not cultural not racial but streets. A man trying to outdo another, get under his skin.

anyone who knows the streets can imagine how far that can go. Evra played his part but I think saurez had more appetite and skill for that level and got under evra's skin. Evra couldn't match him, lost it, told on him (a complete street no no for which is why he came out and supported saurez not being racist but then being he couldn't get him by mouth or knock him out what was left to do? Suarez went to far evra reacted) and it went to court so to speak.

it happens on the streets yes, acceptable? Well there are still consequences. Many times devastating. Suarez words were set to gain maximum advantage but only the most morally skewed, devious, underhand can be true masters at it. It is of bad nature.

Saurez knows it was. hence the sheepish defence. He got caught out. He has probably kept his tail between the legs and let the liverpool board think of him as culturally lost and quite innocent.
Liverpool embaressed themselves by this. Suprised at kenny. They should keep quiet now.

Suarez got punished for it and deserved it. Matterazi got a headbutt for it. Same behaviour. Trouble making getting it's due.

There has been a serious overreaction to De Gea's mistake at the weekend. I will be the first to admit that he should have done a lot better, but I am much more annoyed at the defence for allowing the Blackburn player to head the ball in so easily withut a significant challenge.

This time last year, everyone, and I mean everyone wanted David de Gea to join United. At Atletico Madrid, he looked like a superstar, and he was the best young goalkeeper I had ever seen. Then as soon as he comes to England, he has a rocky couple of months and you all think he is crap? You don't lose all of your ability overnight. He is the furthest thing from crap. Look at the Stoke and Liverpool games, where he showed what incredible talent he has. I honestly think we need to keep playing him. Chopping and changing between him and Lindegaard isn't helping him. We need to give De Gea a run of games so he can learn how to improve at the things he has struggled with.

We all support Manchester United, so why don't we stick by David de Gea instead of jumping on every little thing he does wrong. He's only 21. He will be the best goalkeeper in the world, you just need to be patient.

I'm not Sir Alex by a long shot, but this is why I think he's not interested in spending Millions of pounds on players at the moment.

We've just invested in the goal keeping department so that's fine.

LB - Fabio, Evans, Evra and in a couple of years we can add Blackett and Fryers to that list.

CB - Jones, Smalling, Vidic, Rio, Evans, Fryers.

RB - Rafael, Jones, Smalling, Fabio.

DM - Pogba, Tunners, Jones, Fletcher, Carrick

CAM - Pogba, Park, Morrison, Carrick, Rooney, Cleverley, Anderson, Valencia, Tunners, Young, Fletcher.

Box2Box - Pogba, Park, Morrison, Carrick, Cleverley, Fletcher, Anderson.

LW & RW - Morrison, Cleverley, Valencia, Park, Nani, Rooney, Welbeck, young and possibly Van Velzen.

ST - Rooney, Morrison, Nani, Welbeck, Macheda, Berbatov, Young, Hernandez, Keane, Cofie.

Now, look at the amount of cover and talent for each position, not potential actual current talent, yes CM does look the weakest area of our team no doubt about that. but I simply think he'll wait for 5 of those midfield players to develop and save our club £100+ Million on wages and transfer fees (although we may lose a lot through not finishing in champions league finals, etc.

I'm not saying I agree with this method but I understand it and for the CLUB it seems like the best thing to do.

Add Rodwell to the Box2Box, CB and RB and you'll have yourself a versatile squad. Will it look as good as Manchester City's, Real Madrid's or Barcelona's. well no, no it won't. But I don't think our team will ever look as flashy as theirs.

In fact I can only think of 1 squad which did look like that and that had Rooney, Ronaldo and Tevez in it.

f we need a creative midfielder, we should sign either:
sneijder(30-35m)
modric(25-35m)
hazard(20m)
diego(10m but we would have to wait for his loan at at.madrid to end)
Kaka(20m and madrid would be prepared to let him go)
gotze(20-30m and we have a refusal on his contract)
also, personally, I think we should bring torres to trafford. I know he was a flop at chelsea, but if we buy him for less then there will be less pressure.

Considering the transfer window is open Ed's are there any players of which we have interest in, that would be available in this window? Specifically Centre Midfielders and Left-Backs.

I fear City will win this season.
Raul Albiol and De Rossi seem to great additions.

Midfield partnership of
Toure and De Rossi seems very formidable.

and with Tevez going out, I believe they'll sign a striker too. Maybe promote Santa Cruz :P

United should buy atleast a defender and a midfielder this window. I cannot see them winning if they don't.

All this talk surrounding De Gea, I would like to add my point of view. This is just down to the last match.
1st Goal: Well penalties are 50/50, so not his fault.

3rd Goal: He needs to bulk up so he can stand against stronger players. Can do with time.

2nd Goal: He should have stopped it. We havent paid bloody 20m for him to just let those go in. If you are world class you should stop those shots.

Some of you will say that we paid so much for potential but we could have bought some other young GK with loads of potential for very much less. Like the one whom Chelsea signed and sent on loan as De Gea replacement.
We paid 20m cause we needed someone to walk right into the first team and produce amazing saves that could win us matches.
I have seen him in La liga and also in the Spain U-21 team and boy he looked like one hell of a Keeper which would have appealed to SAF. But from the first day at United he looks like a shadow of his former self with zero confidence in front of the goal post. Even though his passing is class apart but we havent paid for a Midfielder we want someone to stop goals.

I liked De Gea when I saw him but I preferred Sketelenburg for this job. He was almost begging for United to get him and I am a 100% sure he would have given all his effort to prove his worth.

We are talking about selling Berba because of his casual attitude and we already have a replacement for him in De Gea who looks like he just doesnt give a SH*T.

This time last year we all stuck our neck out and predicted the players who we thought would be signed in the summer and in this window.

With the results then put up on sept 1st.

So, I'm up for keeping record of all the posts as well, leave a name, your predictions and boom...Obviously the Ed's can participate too.

I'll go first with;

Rodwell and gaitan. - thats' who I'll think we'll sign nothing more.

Lets try and get a list of honest predictions from the regulars, to see who has the best ideas. Sydney! stick your neck out on this one for a change instead of quoting positions!

Outs:

Macheda (gone already)
Diouf (Loan)
Gibson (Loan)
Kuscazk (Sold)

Ins:

Rodwell = 15 million + Gibson perhaps. Or 20 million out right.

Azpilicueta = If Chelsea go in for him then we will make a move, but not until then.

Rodwell will come in because: 1) He is young British talent. 2) He can cover CB, DM and CM. 3) He's bound to be available for Everton to bring in new players.

Going to stick my neck out and say that Berbatov will stay, we will exercise the right to extend his deal for another year and then he will go in 2012. Owen is more likely to leave for me - he's always injured and i don't think he is going to get games. However, he may stay for a bit of cover.

Having finally read the Suarez findings I have to say the attitude of Liverpool to the whole process is appalling. Reading the report you can't fail to come to the conclusion that from Camolli down it has been a disaster. To back Suarez in such a public way having provided evidence in the way Liverpool did is astounding. To suggest Evra accused Suarez of racism because he lost a coin toss is laughable. The attitude of Dalglish from the moment he was summoned to the referee is astonishing, to make a joke out of being called in having already been informed what the issue was sums him up. To make comments about speaking restaurant Spanish shows how serious racism is to him. The fact is Suarez has been found guilty because of his clubs attitude, evidence and complete lack of an internal inquiry to establish the facts from their end. To those Liverpool fans taking offence at Evra remarking about Suarez' sister, i assume you sit at Anfield in silence when the various delightful chants about Rooney and co are flying out of the stands. The suggestion by Liverpool that Evra is some sort of demon, while Kuyt walks around saying along the lines of 'jolly good show Patrice, lets have a super game together' is pathetic.

Dalglish, Camolli, kuyt and Suarez all provided the evidence to support the guilty finding. I would suggest Liverpool fans sit down and read the full report and the ask themselves has their club actually supported their player or contributed to his downfall.

What about a deal with Eden Hazard asking him to stay at United for the next 5-6 years and prove his worth to the world. Then he can be sold to Real once he is around 26 year old. I would love that to happen. We would get some great years of his service in which he'll only improve and then make a profit of 20m while selling him.
You guys might say that we are not a feeder club but right now we are not able to attract any of the top young talents. All want to go to Spain and can only be lured by heavy wages which we cant provide.
Although we are able to attract young English talent by paying over the top transfer fees but to be honest I dont consider the English players to be very great otherwise we might have seen atleast a few playing in other leagues for top teams.

Hi guys,
I personally think we lack the fear factor at the moment. A player that when opposing teams see his name on the team sheet they are worried about. Messi, ronnie, kind of players. Rooney isnt consistent enough and nani goes missing. Great players, but if they want to be in that kind of bracket then they need alot more consistency.
We need two new fullbacks. Evra winds me up and the twins are injured too much. 3 buys hopefully and i think 2012 will be better.
Happy new year all
