Goetze impresses again for Germany tonight. A good performance this season in the Bundesliga, Champions League and Euro 2012, and his price is going to shoot up. I'm guessing he'll be 'the' player to get next summer, similar to Sanchez this summer. Madrid will be interested, and not many beat them in a bidding war. Ozil, Khedira and Sahin playing there certainly won't help either. I'm not sure he was as off limits this summer as everybody seems to think. Dortmund effectively named their price for him a few days ago when that reported bid from Arsenal went in.
I'm hopeful that Sir Alex will go for him. Add Goetze to Morrison, Pogba and Tunnicliffe and the midfield is set for the next 10 years.

European Squad has been put up on manutd.com and there is no place for Pogba or Morrison although I think they can be added at a later stage due to age. I thought we were going to try and bed these 2 into the squad. This realistically leaves only CC games to see them play unless fergie does add them to list B.
I really hope they get a look in if we manage to qualify before the group games of CL are finshed. If not this has only added to the disappointment of not signing a cm as without that signing we were all hoping that these lads would be given a change.

Makes no sense to me. England are winning 3-0 against poor opposition, the match is effectively won, which means there's absolutely no pressure on any substitute Capello wishes to bring on. So will Phil Jones (19) or Tom Cleverley (22) get to make their international debuts? Nope, 33 year old Frank Lampard gets a runaround. What's the point?

United crush arsenal 8-2, Dublin reach the GAA the all ireland final, Shamrock Rovers in the europa league and now Celtic have been put back into the europa league, Its been a good week for me, All i need now is Ireland to beat Slovakia tonight and ill be on the gargle til wednesday :-)

Well after the window I am a bit disappointed, but very happy to see United playing so well. I believe SAF has changed the playing style drastically after what happened with Barca. Midfield is controlling more and when attacking you can see whole of the midfield up front with no defensive mid. There is more pace to the game now. Defenders are doing well and we have plenty of them. Arsenal and Tottenham could not live upto the pace but it will be interesting to see what happens in the season ahead.

Well, silly season is over until january. Overall, 3 very good signing. Jones, as everyone keeps saying is an exceptional prospect. Young is playing like he has been here for years, leaving Nani and Valencia to scrap for the left-wing. DeGea, I think we all see the talent is there, but have fingers crossed that he stops the little mistakes that can ruin a keepers confidence.
Very disappointed that we didn't get a defensive midfielder. I really feel if we had got a world class player in this position we would beat any team, on any day.
Congrats to the ed's on their million plus hits on deadline day. Bet ye'll have more than a few pints to celebrate.
Looking forward to a very important season. Will there be a public offering? Will the new midfield pairing remain as effective? Will Evra wake-up? Will Jones replace Ferdinand and Smalling stay right-back? Will SAF purchase in January? Will Pogba step-up? Will we kick the crap out of sh***y again?
But most importantly, will SAF's new team show signs of being 'great' in the next few years.
We all have our opinions here but on match days we are all shouting for the same team! C'mon United!!

Just wondering what people think of jones so far,in the few games he has played I think he is absolute quality,so calm for his age and as for smalling, the future is bright for us fergie is right not goin for sneijder

Contrary to a lot of other peoples views I think think this was a very successful window.The 3 main lads we brought in have unbelievable potential plus we are giving youth a chance.
If over the years we hadn't given youth a chance I doubt we would have seen the likes of Giggs, Scholes, Beckham, Nevilles etc.
Lets give the young guys a chance and if things don't work out there is always January...

So Manchester United released their results and while the financial results are strong, they also show that the Glazers have taken another £51m out of the club in the last 12 months as well as using an even bigger chunk (£64m) of the club's money to pay down part of their bond debt. This is money that the club has generated and money that should stay in the club rather than go to Florida or to pay down the Glazers' debt and interest. Sydney has lost all credibility as he keeps defending the vermin and as for GAN and that boil he has growing on his arse ( i think it is called G.A.G.U.S.) i Think they must be Uncle Malcolms love child. Don't be fooled by the spin they will try and put on events. You know the truth. Everybody could see last season we needed a world class midfielder Gill said it Fergie after the final came out and said we needed to get up to Barcelona's level. Been away for a few days so had a lot of reading to do..... Lots of negativity going on FFS, so what we did'nt buy a midfielder, we have more talent in midfield this season than last IMO. Last season we lost who?? Scholes, (the legend) and thats it, this season we have bought well and brought youth in and energised an aging team.... We may not win the CL but we will win the league and get to the semi's of the CL or maybe further.... Watch us turn a few heads this season and please stop arguing like schoolkids and get behind the team we all love Manchester United.
