Enough transfer talk for today. Who do you guys think will win the match today? Forza Brazil.

ZigZag

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Brazil 3-0 LOL. Spain look terrible and can't handle the pace of the brazilian counter attack. They are all over the place and very poor defending. Pique just got sent off, so game over.

Shahram

Agree0 Disagree0

Brazil destroyed Spain. Another question, what would people think about Luiz Gustavo? He seems to be out of favour at Bayern, not too strange, looking at Bayern's midfield, but I honestly think he would improve our team. He is one of the types of players our midfield is in need of, and I reckon he will go for a cheap price. And no, it is not MOTM-fever, he was far from Brazil's best player, but had a solid performance.

Luis Gustavo is exactly the kind of player our midfield needs. And he is very under rated, as players of his ilk can be.

We seem to have other targets in midfield, but if they don't work out then Gustavo could be a great alternative.

Agree0 Disagree0

I reckon De Gea would have saves 2 of those goals. Iker had a terrible game.

Should be fun come the world cup next year. My pick to win it is Argentina.

So guys want to ask, bar maybe neur since Christmas has there been a better goalkeeper that De Gea I'm struggling to think of any who have been better! I think next year he will be even better! He's really shut up them critics!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Neuer hasn't been great this season it was more the bayern defence he made a lot of mistakes a big german newspaper had Trapp and Adler as best two in the league

Agree0 Disagree0

Courtois has again had an outstanding season for Atletico and at least deserves to be mentioned

Agree0 Disagree0

Obviously you don't watch much Bayern, Neuer is one of the most over hyped keepers in football, he's the German golden boy so they just bull him up. Adler, Ter Stegan and Trapp have all been far better.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lloris is and was better than De Gea.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lloris is a good keeper, DDG will be world-class.

If thiago signs and I hope he does. I don't think he can play in a 2 man midfield. How about carrick kagawa and thiago? I know it's pretty offensive but it would work in my opinion.

I would also keep nani, play him on the left with Toni on the right he was looking much sharper the last few weeks of the season. So don't think there will be many signings

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It's no more defencively frail as we have atm, accept we'll be able to keep possesion!

Red Joe

Agree0 Disagree0

A friend of mine who lives in Barcelona and mad for them just sent me an sms that there is an announcement from Barca tomm on Thiago according to a local radio station. Don't know what that means, hopefully good news for us.

Shahram

Agree0 Disagree0

If it's a press conference for Thiago then it will not be good news for us Shahram. They will not hold a press conference for someone who is leaving. However if he has signed a new deal they could hold a press conference.

I hope your friend has got it all wrong.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

SYD

It could be 2 things, either they announce he has signed an extension or could also be that they have accepted an offer and he is leaving. I am still of the view it is only us or barca and all the other teams being mentioned is just lazy journalism.

Shahram

Agree0 Disagree0

Shahram, Barcelona will not call a press conference to announce the departure of Thiago. That simply will not happen. No club does that, also I think MU would want to be the club to announce that.

Thiago has more options than just us and Barcelona. He has BM, Chelsea and I imagine City will try and gazump us for him. They may even do the same with Garay although I think Garay is in the bag.

i think they opted for moyes in the end because they knew he wouldn't be too proud or big headed to go ask sir alex his opinion (just as sir alex went to sir matt all those yrs ago)
the club is in good hands with moyes, I just hope he gets the time needed when that first inevitable wobble comes.

Hi Ed

Is there any interest from United in Fellaini? I think he will be a terrific addition to Utd. His buyout clause is also not much, some 23m. Can you clarify?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

In what world is 23million not much? i'm sorry but we could spend that on lewandowski/gundogan/marchisio

Agree0 Disagree0

Fellaini is 25. Plays anywhere from midfield to striker. Marchisio is 27, Juve won't sell him and he will cost more. Why do we need Lewandowski, unless someone is leaving? Dortmund are not selling Gundogan. The player is keen to stay.

What is the point of saying you can buy anyone just for the sake of it? You can say 23m can buy you Gerrard. Will it happen? No. Same with the players you have mentioned, unless clubs wanna sell. If Fellaini can be interested by Arsenal, why not United?

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Jun 2013 17:04:14
I have no idea what is happening with Thiago but if he doesn't want to come and play for us than fair enough. Be proud of our club, if a player wants to go elsewhere, their loss in my view. Same for Bale who allegedly want to play for United. There are plenty of great players who would love to play for us and as it appears we do have some cash this year, let's spend it on those who want to wear the red shirt. Some of the posts feel almost desperate - remember our history and our ethos chaps, be patient

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Oops, typo, Bale doesn't want to play for us apparently

Agree0 Disagree0

Would imagine the next 2 weeks will be eventful in terms of comings and goings at Utd. Aren't we off on tour mid July? So I'd think Moyes will want any new signings available to travel with the rest of the squad.

BennyBlanco

Agree0 Disagree0

Couldn't have put it better the young Turkish lad ucan looks a talent strootman quintero kondogbia van ginkel

Agree0 Disagree0

I think if Bale were to don a red shirt he would have joined us rather than Spurs. I see a deal in principle being struck behind closed doors for him to go to Madrid next season. Hopefully to replace the outgoing Ronaldo who will come back to Manchester. He always wanted to play for Madrid do he's achieved that ambition. I think he needs to be loved though (don't we all lol) and there's nowhere where he'll be more worshipped than returning to OT.

I have no insider knowledge. Just gut feeling and that's what I think may happen.

Rooney stuff is getting boring so thought I'd start a topic on discussing nani
Does everybody think he should be sold?
I think he should be given a yr by moyes telecast. I'd still prefer him over Valencia and young. Though he was poor last yr how many consecutive games did he get?
I think if he plays continuously moyes could get the best out of him. On his day he's a world beater, his performance in the 3-2 win against bayern being one of them. But surely if we don't sign a winger then nani should be kept? He gives us something different to young and Valencia and is really good at interchanging.

Thoughts?

TRUMORS

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I agree that on his day he can be a world beater. Unfortunately his days are few and far between. Google his holiday pics and look at his ripped torso and then explain to me why he falls over when someone so much as breathes on him. He had a spell when he contributed really well and it looked like he had found some consistency. Sadly not, and his obvious lack of interest in some of the last few games was clear to see. I think his head is elsewhere

Agree0 Disagree0

No brainer, yes nani should be sold 100%!
1. Too inconsistent.
2. Sell while can recoup decent capital!
3. All too often no finished product.
4 his eyes look like hard boiled eggs

Karlmarx

Agree0 Disagree0

So you want to give him until the end of his contract? Really?

You don't think that would be stupid?

Brendan81

Agree0 Disagree0

Nani has had too many chances to rekindle his previous form. We will see him leave this summer for sure and I believe Zaha coming in will be the suitable replacement we need.

As AJH has already commented, his head is elsewhere, ever since he knew we didn't want him any more he obviously just gave up and just doesn't have the motivation to work hard. No doubt where ever he goes we will probably see glimpses of the old Nani but it's unlikely we'll see the old Nani back at United.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Jun 2013 17:04:01
He's out of contract next summer so he has to leave this summer if we're going to get any money. It was clear at the end of the season he couldn't be bothered. Look at how he strolled around in the arsenal game. Look at him at the title presentation. Wasn't interested. If he's not committed he has to go and its his fault for not performing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks for the opinions guys!

Yh IMO I think we will see him sold, just a shame as he is very talented but his inconsistency has ended it for him.

TRUMORS

Agree0 Disagree0

Nani is that far past his sell-by date he'd be a piece of rancid green mush. I agree he CAN play out if his skin and look v classy but he has done this on very FEW occasions. I think he may play better elsewhere (Forlan for example looked forlorn at MUFC but proved he was still a good striker elsewhere) but he has had more than chances at United. Another year would just be further opportunity for his price to drop.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nani, a winger who can't cross. as much use as a keeper who can't catch. sub standard - get rid.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe Moyes can sit down with him and outline if he sees him in his plans. This could reignite his desire and commitment and we may try sort out a new contract. If not then he must be sold, but keeping Nani on a new contract would be my preference.

Agree0 Disagree0

You'd rather Valencia? A winger that has no idea how to beat a man!

Fabs

Agree0 Disagree0

It's meant to say nani is good t interchanging and offers one thing different to young and Valencia. I'd have nani over Valencia.

Guys, incase anyone needs a good laugh I've a story for you all, I saw a picture of the headline on , if anyone knows the paper please tell me which one, the headline was, United in sensational swoop for Messi! Apparently due to a move for Ronaldo we will sign messi who's future in Spain is uncertain due to this tax thing! Well hat went through my mind was who can actually write so much c**p and actually who would be lazy enough to make a story up like this! I actually laughed when I read it! Some journalists have no clue! So I want to ask you all what's the most ridiculous transfer rumour you have ever read!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Caolan, when it comes to United there have been hundreds. Every year lazy journalists print stores with 'sources', most of which they have simply made up to sell papers. We will never know how much interest there is in the players we hear we are linked with but we can't be interested in all of them.

Agree0 Disagree0

That's very true AJH but this one took the biscuit!

Agree0 Disagree0

We could swap him for Rooney! now there is a suggestion as ridiculous as the original paper report.

I knew there was a reason I didn't read papers!

Brendan81

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I say let's push for Messi! This guy looks like he could be a great player in a couple of years! I have a good feeling about this one lads. ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

Weggy, I don't know about him now, I don't think he is physical enough to play in the premier league he couldn't match yaya ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

Weggy,

I have a problem with this guy called Messi, he doesn't track back and can't defend. He's not an a very well rounded player and we have Rooney who will get there in 10 years :)

Agree0 Disagree0

If we give him enough time I am sure he would develop into a premier league regular!

With this whole dilemma over Rooney be it let him regain form or he doesn't want a lower wage why not just kill 2 birds with one stone.

Lower his actual wage to one which he actually deserves but then give him the option to earn more based on bonouses related to his form I. e matches played, goals scored, assists, player if the season/ year. Then this will show him that we do still want him but if he does still want that ridiculas wage he'd have to work for it

19JackC94

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I've tried to stay out of this one but.

One of the problems is Rooney sees himself as the self appointed big man, he clearly has a very high opinion of his worth as a player. He would bristle at the thought of having to justify his pay. Put simply, are we prepared to continue to play top end dollar for someone who appears to be going down the other side of the hill? Suspect not, please God

Agree0 Disagree0

United won't offer extension of his £250k pw salary. Rooney will insist he is worth that in spite of form over last 18months. Impasse.

He won't take a 40% drop in basic wage and have the remainder built up through performance-related pay and too be blunt neither would I.

This summer has ALWAYS been crunch time for Rooney. Time to go me thinketh. Especially while we could still get £25m plus.

Rooney is set to sign a new contract and stay at United but if he has to take a wage cut then he will not sign and will want to leave.
+Not a 100% sure on this but i've heard rumours that arsenal have put a £20 million bid for Rooney.

every year its the same we are linked with every big name, but end up with cheaper options, apart from rvp last year. like someone said is it to sell season tickets?. so far this year we have got some unknown r/b. moyesy get out there and get em reeled in on my wish list Ronaldo bale fabregrass, thiago. baines forget strootmanand fellini gaary

Believable0 Unbelievable0

That wish list is only any good on a computer game, sadly this is real life. Also, the transfer window is yet to open so let's see what happens is it?

Agree0 Disagree0

So how come city Chelsea real barca Bayern have already bought players? Transfer window starts tomorrow but that doesn't stop us from agreeing contracts with players.
And why is it fifa that a club like ours, one of the three biggest in the world, should be buying the top players? Are we saying that we no longer should buy the top players?

Agree0 Disagree0

Get your hopes down, they will all fade into the background and we'll pick up a couple of £10-15m younger players that MIGHT become world class. Not saying that'll be a bad thing but it's looking unlikely we'll get the names we're initially being linked with.

I hope to hell Moyes gets financial backing - he needs it, because if not, he could struggle and I do believe he can succeed if given the money to work with.

What is going to happen with Rooney? I can see three / four options:

1. He signs on at lower wages.
2. Barcelona / PSG come in for him.
3. We offer him to Ancelotti as part of a deal for Ronaldo.
4. He refuses to sign a new deal and leaves for pennies or for free.

The problem will be that Rooney will say he is coming into the peak of his career given his age. He will say what a loyal servant he has been and how good his record is. He will not recognise that he is a pace slower, 3 stone heavier and 4 of his 5 brain cells have died.

I just hope that the club doesn't accept his demands. We have bigger players than him at the club and we can attract bigger players than him. He is by no means irreplaceable. I posted the other day (I don't think it got through) that Rooney played in 27 of 53 matches with 5 appearances from the bench. He scored 12. That means that for 26 matches he was either injured or dropped. Says a lot about his contribution and whether we will miss or not.

Having said all that, I still think 'what if'. What if he gets into shape, knuckles down and performs well under Moyes? Then we again have a real player on our hands.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

30 Jun 2013 14:26:19
He will sign an other deal or move to Chelsea imo
He was poor last season but got 34 goals in 40 games the season before.
I think he would do very well at Chelsea to be honest people should maybe be careful what they wish for
Jred

Agree0 Disagree0

Fresh

I think it is a misconception that if he gets fit he suddenly transforms into the old Wayne Rooney and his poor play is down being unfit. He has lost that extra gear and burst of speed and he can run and exercise as much as he wants but he will not get it back.

He is a little like Kaka with the aura from his past form but not the same player. Older body diminishing abilities.

A great piece of business would be sell him for 30 to whoever is willing to pay and buy lew for 22 to 24 and buy a young striker like Fisher for 10 to 12 million as well, which I think is possible if we really went in for them.

Shahram

Agree0 Disagree0

Just want some clarification, Gareth Bale has recently signed a 3 year contract with BT who will be challenging the premier league dominance of Sky next season, now that is a huge commitment for someone who was strongly linked with a team in a foreign league last season and in this current transfer window. It will probably complicate a foreign transfer rather than make it impossible but I cannot see why Bale will seek a move this summer especially to a team outside of the PL after signing a 3 year deal with BT.
Thoughts and opinions welcome

Imran

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think Bale will stay at Spurs for another season and see if they can push for Champions league football. If they fail that will probably be the last straw and it would be likely for him to go to Madrid as Ronaldo's replacement. Where Ronaldo goes is a whole new dimension! Hopefully here.

Agree0 Disagree0

Will he be working in a call centre or have they signed him for connecting new lines?

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Jun 2013 13:42:52
This is just typical from the Rooney camp. let's stories leak in the press about other teams interested in buying Rooney so that supporters get nervous and are then happy when he signs a further deal at the same rate he is on now. You all know that the Headline is coming saying "Moyes makes his first big signing as he convinces Rooney to stay". Then we will have to listen to a press conference where we are told that Rooney is a world class player which is quite frankly nonsense. I remember the look on Rooneys face when he got on the bus for the victory parade and was booed. Well speaking to a lot of match going Reds the mood hasn't changed and he is not in for an easy ride most match going reds are just sick of seeing their club being disrespected by a spud headed baffoon

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Oh hush up. Bored. Move on!

Agree0 Disagree0

KLOOT there are a lot who would be very disapointed if we kept him, especially on the same wages as now. Its not like the last time I don't think, that said you will always have people stuck in the past who will support him.

Apparently, Rooney is happy to sign a new contract at United, but won't take any kind of paycut according to the papers. If true then I think it is bye bye Rooney. To offer him the same deal would make United look very very silly after the past 18 months of poor performance, unprofessional attitude and being incapable of keeping himself in shape. I'd get the best possible fee from abroad or Arsenal, and let him go.

Brendan81

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We will never give a 28 year old with 2 years to go on his contract an extension on those wages.

Is it not the club policy that once you are 30 you are only given a 1 year contract?

I Firmly believe we will sell him but will need to tow the official line "not for Sale" to get some bidding going. Hope Chelsea and Real jump in and we could have ourselves a turkey shoot LOL.

Shahram

Shahram

Agree0 Disagree0

Why so much of a concern about Rooney? Is he the only quality player we have left!

Fergie has unfortunately left the team in transition. No replacement for Scholes, Rooney is on the Wayne (pun) and the club's financial muscle limited by the Glazer's debt. We all know that the real problems at United are based on a lack of direction and hanging on to or being loyal to ageing players beyond their sell-by date. Next season will be a shock to us because we have not reinvested wisely, integrated players like Hernandez, Welbeck and Evans who are the future of the club. Even if we get Thiago, Baines and Strootman as everyone hopes it will take time for them to bed in. Expecting RVP to work miracles is not enough. This is Man United we are talking about not Torquay United. We have got rid of all the coaching staff who made us a success. I am a very worried Man United fan!

Agree0 Disagree0

I seriously think Barca could come in for him. Just read Neymars comments about him, and something tells me maybe Barca have hinted he may be on their wanted list. I would take £25-30m for him from Barca, or Thiago and £10-15m, which is the same thing. It might appease the Barca fans, if Rooney was unveiled the same time Thiago left aswell, so it might be better for them if they try and do that deal. doesn't matter to us what way it happens as it results in the same thing.

Brendan81

Agree0 Disagree0

If it is an English club we have to sell to then I wouldn't accept anything less than £30 million from anyone but would like to see us play hard ball for once and try and get the better deal which seems to never happen. If it's a foreign club ala Madrid, Bayern or Barca then I would take £25 million but I would prefer to see a player exchanged in the deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ngiak strongly believes that if the heart and soul is facing elsewhere the best would be to leave
ngiak also thinks that a thorn should always be removed because it will cause a slow infiltrating infection and eventually cause a cancerous rift
soccer is a team game exemplified by the Manchester United ethos
good riddance and thank you for the service
gan

Agree0 Disagree0

So true about getting rid of irritating people especially those who talk about themselves in the 3rd person. Bye

Agree0 Disagree0

Brendan

He is not good enough to get into that barca starting 11. Who do they sit to give Rooney game time and Barca's style is terrible for his style of play.

I would think Chelsea, Madrid, PSG are much more viable than Barca. Barca need a central defender and are loaded everywhere else.

You have young guys like Tello and the young spanish Winger who has a french sounding name but is outstanding and might turn out to be the best of the lot that need game time.

Shahram

Agree0 Disagree0

I think barca would be interested.
With the likely departure of villa and tello on loan 4-3-3 with a front 3of Neymar messi and rooney looks plausible with rooney leading the attack and messi and Neymar either side.

Still I believe if we can get rooney to lower his wage demands we should keep him, makes a big difference even when playing poor. Look at the pass for rvp vs villa for example.

had a poor season last year but the year before 34 goals in 40 games is an excellent return especially taking in to account United struggled that year and Rooney played several positions. It's also better than Rvp s 30 in 48 games for example this year.
I would say if any United player scored 34 in 40 games this coming season we would all say he had a great season.
If kagawa did the site would go in to melt down

I don't personally think he'd fit in at Barca, I think it may happen though Shahram, they may have ideas of how to use him though.

Jred,
You seem to forget one little fact. On his wages he need to produce numbers like that to justify it. Look around and see who get paid wages close to him and the numbers they produce. He is in the top 5 or six footballer globally when it comes to wages.

If Kagawa did the same on his wages, you are right we would go into meltdown given what we got him for and his wages.

Sharham,
Do you judge a player on football ability against how much he gets paid?
Who had the better season last year benteke 23 goals on about 30k a week or Rvp 30 goals on about 170 k.

My point is people go on about Rooney not playing well for years but the fact is he's had one bad season the year before he got 34 goals in 40 games games which is an excellent return for anyone better than Rvp this year.
I'm honestly amazed people think he had a poor season 2011/2012 with that kind of return.

Why are United trying to bid for Geoffrey Kondogbia when they could get Monacos Mendy for free?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

30 Jun 2013 11:08:00
because kondogbia is the better player? Currently plays for Sevilla in Spains top flight and is at the under 20 world cup. Mendy spent last season playing in the french division two. We need players with experience not endless signings of potential which is all mendy would be. Kondogbia offers a mix between the two as he's still young enough to be potential but does have experience.

I'm not in the know or anything but I've heard a rumour that were going to put a bid in for bale that will be £30 mill plus young and Anderson, and welbeck on a season loan. I think this could be a good deal especially as spurs need strikers and welbeck will get a lot more game time and hopefully come back a more experienced goal scorer.

three players plus thirty mill? Unlikely.

Agree0 Disagree0

So they give us one the best players around for a on loan striker who can't score, a midfielder who they don't need (Paulinho most likely coming in) and a average left winger.

I think they can do much better with just straight cash from Madrid and buy what they need on the transfer market.

Is anyone worried that the team is being dismantled too quick? This could be our most important transfare window and it may work but there is that element of doubt in my mind.

Marcus

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why who has been sold? The only player we know has gone is Scholes retiring and a few youngster, everything else is speculation.

How's it being dismantled? Clarification required.

Agree0 Disagree0

LOL

We seem to be unable to move any players and Rumour of Evra leaving and baines coming in is a improvement not dismantlement.

I think the Vidic Rumours are all bs and he is not going anywhere even if Garay comes in.

Whilst everyone talks nonsense of Vidic being injury prone it is actually Smalling and Evans who seem to be injured more often.

As far as Rooney goes, he should go as long as we buy a decent replacement and I firmly believe he will find it harder next year whether with us or at another club.

All in All we will have a much better team next year no matter how you look at with the potential new signings that are being mentioned.

is strootman rumours over, or have we just giving up?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

That's right mike, we're just giving up. Moyes' new policy. Let Citeh and Chelski battle it out at the top, we're aiming for top half this year.

Does seem to have gone a bit quiet, hopefully will get some clearer ideas this week

Gone a bit quiet? Find me one official statement on Strootman, it's just rumours breeding rumours

I think he ment rumours linked to strootman we have gone quiet so maybe not so interested, like you say rumours nothing about any other club, i'm still hopeful of the big signing

same old arsenal always trying to do business on the cheap. Add another ten to fifteen million on and it sounds right.

Agree0 Disagree0

That fee is too low- but because its wenger/arsenal I can actually believe this rumour to be true, for that same reason.

I can't see arsenal paying 30mil or higher for him (?), so really rooney's options are what?

Chelsea (would/do they want him?)? Can't see him really wanting to go overseas- he might've shot himself in the foot.

IMO bet he is keeping his options open, trying stay paly paly with utd (just in case), but waiting to see if arsenal/Chelsea make a serious bid (?).

LOL I guess we all can't help ourselves and maybe reading into this stuff way too much.

Who know but for myself I have resigned myself to go with the flow and whatever comes off it as none of us have any control over this stuff. I do know one thing for sure and that is the fact that we will have a better team than last year and look forward to the new season.

Total rumour but I've just heard from a chelski fan friend of mine that the massive buzz round there club is a potential cash plus player swap involving torres and rooney (not sure about the + player bit). and it's all linked with the thiago bid (again don't know why but some kind of Spanish connection). if it came off what would you think?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Rooney hasn't been great but Torres? No thanks, unless it is Torres plus £25m.

as much as I dislike rooney as a person and don't like his attitude or his fitness issues I can still recognise that when fit, interested and one form he's twice the player torres is. I don't think anyone would take that deal. What would torre even offer to the team?

Just seen in the oracle of all sporting knowledge (the star ) that arsenal may look at Torres, I was just thinking if Rooney does go and lewandowski is unavailable does anyone else think we would show an interest? apparently £17/18 mil would see chelsea interested.

No

i know people are split over wether Rooney should stay or go but reading the papers today there are a few interesting articles, particularly the Mail. My thoughts are if he does go he should still earn a decent transfer fee. like I said the papers said some interesting stuff such as arsenal have already made a £20 mil bid now I don't know what you guys think but that kind of fee for Rooney just seems ridiculous. Benteke being quoted at£22 mil, Higuain £22 mil etc. Rooney is ten times the player either of them are I know he wasnt the rooney we know and loved last year but £20 mil! really?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

28 to 30 million is probably a fair price and he is not what he was and people can see that and Higuain is an excellent player.

Also read we might extend him on the same basis of the current contract and if it is the choice of the two, I would rather sell as he is not worth that sort of wage and for 25 to 27 million I would take a willing buyer.

Finally, I think the club has intentions to sell him but wants to tie up targets and we will see this saga continue into late July and if we secure who we are after he is a goner or gooner maybe :)

One thing I believe is that united are still in a "wait and see" approach as there are new managers at bigger clubs (Madrid, PSG). Inevitably these managers are going to bring in their players and move along the ones who don't fit their system. It will be interesting to see who becomes available, especially at Madrid as they have quite a few who I believe will come available.
