Hi all not wrote on here for ages I'm getting too the stage now of not enjoying watching united
Jose got to go I've been staying since the west ham game he will be sacked by Christmas
The players don't want too play for him anymore

Since lukaku last scored at old Trafford
Man city scored 83 goals
Lewis Hamilton won 11 races
Real Madrid have had 3 head coachs
That's mental states for a 75 million pound player.

Hes never in a million miles will win us the title. He needs to be either played to his strength or transfer him and get an all round striker.

Lukaku won't be anywhere near his best until he has a summer break (or perhaps an injury break) to do some conditioning work and shed the extra muscle mass he has put on. Over the past 16 months he's pretty much maximised his weaknesses and minimised his strengths. United have an army of physios, dieticians etc and the only reason they could have allowed him to do this is because it was Jose's desire. Make him more of a target man or something I don't know, but it's got to be reversed.

{Ed025's Note - it looks like hes eaten a couch AJH..

Is he really fat or has he just bulked up too much?

Only reason i am saying that is i remember a similar thing happening to memphis when he signed, got so top heaving he lost his burst of pace.

Looking at him at lyon he looks more of a footballers physique and has that blistering pace back.

Jose won't be sacked until March or April as soon as champions league qualification becomes impossible. Same as with Moyes and what would've happened with van Gaal only he got to the cup final an they left him in for that and sacked him afterwards. No confidence though that the next appointee will be any better.

Morning all. lots of newspaper noise this morning re DDG signing again ā€œonce he knows about the future of Jose Mourinho and whether he will still be at the club next seasonā€.
If this is true and not just made up media puffery, does this sound as though he wants Jose to stay, or that he wants to stay with us but work under a new manager? Bear in mind this was accompanied by the standard ā€œI am here to win trophiesā€ statement.
Thoughts?

Thanks Ed. Virtually the same piece in four different newspapers was a big giveaway but just thought Iā€™d ask.

So it seems Sanchez is injured. I canā€™t see him playing for united again. Ed did say we are looking to shift him and I would be surprised to see him move to PSG in January.

The Sanchez deal is one which real disappoints me. There is no doubting he is so much ability and that he was one of the top players in the league at arsenal. He has just never found his place in this united team. I think a lot of that is down to style of play and tactics by Jose. You can never fault his work ethic and work rate for the cause. He always leaves everything on the pitch.

I had an interesting conversation with my mate whose a gooner and he said that he thinks Sanchez was in decline in his final season at arsenal. He reckons that arsenal sold at the right time as he thinks Sanchez was completely burnt out due to overplaying during his time there. This did get me thinking that perhaps Sanchez isnā€™t the player we thought we had bought. I still donā€™t necessarily believe this though and if he moves to PSG he will regain form.

Although my head says we have to get rid there is still a niggling feeling that we may regret it if we donā€™t what he can do under a new manager. When Sanchez played centrally against Juve and Bournemouth we looked a far better side. He linked up the play beautifully at times and his mobility, touch and movement took us up a notch from the disasterclass of Lukaku this season. For the life of me I donā€™t understand why he was dropped. I really wanted to see him given a proper run in the cf position and Iā€™m sure we would have seen glimpses of the Sanchez of old as well as a much better united team.

If he doesnā€™t play for us again, I wish him well and itā€™s a shame it hasnā€™t worked out. Thereā€™s a top player there and I hope he turns it on again. But it is imperative that the Woodward learns from this expensive mistake. Never should we give a player that much money and never should we buy a player who doesnā€™t suit the managerā€™s vision or style of play. We need a plan and identity and we need to follow it.

Agree park, also did we buy him to stop other interested parties. If city had of signed him I'm sure he would have been better suited to their style of play.

It seems that way Simon. I do believe he would tearing up the league if he was at city right now. You could argue we bought fred for the same reason of stopping city getting him. Itā€™s early days but Iā€™m still not writing fred off. Think there is a player there he just needs time to settle and it doesnā€™t help heā€™s come into a team that is performing so poorly and is so unstable. A few midfielders have struggled to adapt to the league such as Keita and Fabinho. Neither are poor players and I expect them to all be a decent in the league.

Alexis sanchez demise is purely down to him. He was automatically given a place in the side when he hadnt earned it and there were two young players playing well in that position.

He was then persevered with in that position when it was clear he was underperforming severely and given every chance by jose to come good. Still was unable to produce any semblance of a good performance.

As for his work ethic i have seen rashford and martial both do a better job of doing their defensive work, most of the time off the ball i see sanchez standing still with his hands on his hips like its everyone elses fault he is playing badly.

He will go down as a just as bad a signing as angel di maria, really poor stuff from someone who was supposed to be an experienced professional showing the likes of martial and rashford what it takes to make it at a top team.

{Ed025's Note - when your on Ā£500,000 a week i suppose its hard to get motivated DSG, it seems to be a chore for him to be playing at the moment and he seems to be sulking every week and not enjoying the games, at arsenal i thought he was fantastic and there is no questioning his ability but his attitude stinks, now whether thats down to the money, the manager or not being the main man i dont know, but one thing is for certain hes a waste of space at the moment mate..

30 Nov 2018 12:46:51
I think we should avoid big reputation players. They always seem to flop. Veron, Bastian, Falcao, Angel di Maria. Unfortunately with Galactico Ed at the helm I can't see it changing.

Never was keen on us signing Alexis, nothing personal at all, but i'll be glad when he leaves. Really feel that City and United signed the wrong players, in Mahrez and Sanchez. Both would of suited the other team more. Oh well, onto the next.

Curse of the No.7 shirt strikes again. Since Ronaldo left Owen, Di Maria, Depay, Sanchez and Valencia have all worn the shirt. The year Valencia wore it was probably his worst at our club (until this season) .

The people who have been successful in the No.7 shirt have either come through the academy and/ or embraced the history and traditions of the club.

It's a special shirt and you need to respect it/ the club if you want to be successful in it.

Or maybe I'm being superstitious. Lol.

Shappy Iā€™m with mate there is definitely a curse on that no 7 shirt šŸ˜‚. And also on the managerā€™s position.
