If we went back in for sneijder in January, is there any chance of a cheaper fee and/or him taking the cut in wages as inter are performing poorly? Not saying we should or would go back in, but was wondering due to inter's position in Serie A.

If it's on CaughtOffside, it ain't true. They make rumours up. They are one of the worst on the internet.

All last week, the media were putting rumours about that Fergie wants Sneijder in January.

I think Sneijder would want to come now. Inter, to be fair, haven't got off to the best start this season. They're 16th in Serie A at the moment and I bet Sneijder now wishes that he got the move to United.

£35 million is alot of money to pay for a player in the january transfer window though. He won't be able to play in European competitions because he has already featured for Inter in them. So basically, we would be paying £35 million for a player that would increase our chances of getting number 20.

If we waited until next summer, I think City would jump straight in there with mega money and mega wages to get him to go there.

I just have to say cogratulations to the team . Most teams will find it very hard to bounce back. 6-1 last Sunday and is followed by 2clean sheet wins. City ,face it are not noisy neighbours they are definitely title contenders but the difference between us and them is that
1- we are united and they are city. We are used to being up here in the table.
2- we have sir Alex ferguson as coach.he always knows what he is doing and has always cum thru at the end.
3- city are flashy, superb, and very talented but wen the going gets tough I..e, 1-0 down at stoke with 5mins to go. No team can match united never-say-never attitude.

Wayne Rooney tweeted, "Just have to say 12 o'clock kick off is no good for players. Trying to force pasta down at 9 in the morning is not nice."

It's such a hard life been a football player on 200k+ a week.... HERBIE

Went to the game today and it was absolutely shocking we were so negative we never got out of our own half and where was Rooney supposed to be playing. We have this tactic of backing off teams up till the end of our box which just invites teams on to us. No wonder we have so many chances against us. As for our midfield today it lacked any teeth or guile it just plodded around. Fletcher and Park are just pedestrian. Welbeck will never make it as a lone striker he can not hold the ball up or beat a hand. One good bit of news was that i had a good chat with Robbo at half time and he is looking well and healthy. I wish he had gotten his kit on at half time. RAINFISHTROMBONE
