I f***ing love football.

Proves how much they relied on RVP last season and s**t they are now

LOOOOOOOOOOOOL :D:D:D:D:D

James

Believable0 Unbelievable24

You must feel so stupid right now!
They were playing pretty much their reserve team bar 3 players.
Plus they won.

I love football too, all the twists eh?

Agree8 Disagree0

You need a hand taking that foot out of your mouth James? And btw, it's funny looking at your team these days and thinking the same thing . Without Judas VP, you guys are sh!t. Lol , one man team United.
Ezdee

Agree7 Disagree7

Arsenal are a good club, its just that they sign woeful players, chamakh, giroud, gervinho etc. With that much money they should really break the bank.

They are the only club I admire in the PL after United.

Agree1 Disagree3

To be fair, they were 4-0 down and looked dead and buried.

What's that James, 89 words, some dots and a few asterisks, shouldn't take you long to get that down your big mouth. Oh and I wonder whose cracks RVP is papering over this season.

They won 7-5..

Agree2 Disagree0

Ok so James was a bit quick off the mark but Arsenal conceded 5 goals and looked FAR from convincing away to a struggling Reading side. You Arsenal boys hardly have anything to shout about, you've won 1 of the last 4 games in 90 minutes and even that took a late goal against QPR. Wind it in until you've won something.

TK-Red, Its a banter site, he came on giving it large and got shot down, yes we all know how many trophies you've won and how long since we've won anything but you won jack last year and unless i've missed something you've won nothing this year yet either.

Oh banter...is that what you call it? Stoner we are there or there abouts every year where as you've won sweet fa for 7 years and you come on to brag about an extra time victory against Reading. Are times really that hard down at the Emirates?

Oh a joke? Is that what that was? ;) I'll give you one thing though, you must have a pretty good sense of humour to support that lot every week.

I think our team against Chelsea will be:

De Gea

Vermijl Wooton Keane Buttner

Cleverley Fletcher Anderson

Rooney Hernandez Welbeck

Subs- Johnstone, Evans, Powell, Lingard, King, Tunnicliffe

It will probably be the same team that played Newcastle, and Chelsea will have the likes of Sturridge, Moses, Piazon, Marin all on. We need to have youth and experience.

MUFC19

Believable4 Unbelievable8

Its a tricky one. That back 4 is very inexperienced and I would like to see someone with a few more games under his belt in there. Problem is we can't afford any injuries to Rio and Evans with saturday in mind.

TK-Red

Agree0 Disagree0

There is no way that Rooney will be risked as a starter.... I would expect some of Giggs, Scholes, Anderson Welbeck. Hernandez, Nani, Fletcher, Buttner, Keane, Lindegaard, Wooton, Evans, Powell, Vermijl, Henriquez and a few others

Have seen a lot of the Bender brothers and would love if United sign them both. Would be great in front of the defence in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
On another note we'll have two pair of twins. We can change them on half time if one is not having a good game. No one will know and we'll have all 3 substitutions intact. Haha Genius.

A fantastic 3 points at the weekend. Whether is was deserved or not, it doesn't matter - 3 points away to Chelsea is brilliant.
Aside from the opening 20 minutes, I thought the Chelsea formation looked really good. Ramires and Mikel form a good partnership in the centre, allowing them to have virtually 4 strikers a lot of the time. The really can be devastating up front at times - if they get Falcao they will take some stopping.
Delighted to see RVP playing so good, and what about Chico? 2 brilliant matches - he looks like he is really up for it. SAF must be delighted to see the hunger from Chico - he really is a true pro.

Heard lots of rumours today about Walcott joining in Jan. Same site also saying that Nani is on his way, I think it is about time we cahsed in on Nani, but I think Walcott is just as hit and miss. Now I have never seen wilfred zaha play but I think I'd be more excited abut signing a prospect as an understudy to valencia and young than signing Walcott, but I suppose Walcott with something to prove would be better than an egotistical Nani, espescialy as we'd probs be 2or 3 million up! What you guys think?

DanB

Believable1 Unbelievable11

I'd be quite embarassed if signed Walcott, if I'm honest. He's not a good footballer. He's a fast runner. THere's a big difference, and it's the reason Usain Bolt won't be at OT next season, and the reason why Theo has failed to shine at the Emirates.

I'd rather keep Nani than have someone else's castoff who isn't as good.

RED_SKY

Agree15 Disagree0

In all honesty Walcott had his career ruined.... He should of never been put out on the wing his crossing ability and general wing play is dreadful at best.... If played as a fast striker on the last man he would of had a far more successful career and probably would be a better player now by a long way.

Agree10 Disagree0

Noname
i completely agree , i think as a striker he could be a good player
jred

Agree5 Disagree0

Wenger should of done what he did with Henry.

19-20 MUFC

Agree3 Disagree0

Sorry Jred I was in A rush... My name is Legion. I think Walcott had all the traits to be a top class front man a few years ago but now if he turned into one I think he would be on the Defoe/Welbeck standard.... But he may shock everyone.

Agree0 Disagree0

Walcott and Henry were and have been played on the wing to learn more about how to beat players then moved up top. That is how Wenger has admitted himself that he develops some players.

Supasub

Agree1 Disagree0

Legion
like you say his crossing/passing isnt great ,which makes you wonder what his doing on the wing but i think he can finish and he has genuine pace. I think he could do very well as a striker like you say he has the traits to be that on the shoulder striker
jred

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes... I think he could actually be a top player when played central in the Hernandez role on the last man with balls played up to him h has genuine pace to out run pretty much any defender... But then does he have the physical prowess and the heading ability to be played there and will he be able to hold the ball up and bring players in to the game? In all honesty I think England would have been a lot better off for the last couple of years if he was a striker from when he joined Arsenal.... Him and rooney imo would be awesome as he can actually finish one on ones and has some talent in the box it just baffles me how he gets played on the wing for club or country he is awful out there. Imo all wingers should be able to take all set pieces he cant even take a corner as the ball dont leave the floor or beat the first man.

Interest statistic on ... Man Utd already have the most goals by a country mile with 6 already this season, Utd only scored 12 from corner last year and are well on the way to demolishing that total....

Always thought this was a major issue as we really seemed to struggle taking the corner, now with a bit of quality on the dead ball in Rooney, RVP and Young it is giving the players more of a chance and just think when Jones,Vidic and Smalling are back we will have two centre halfs causing problems with even more chance of scoring. Could be a big advantage in the title race if we can make the amount of corners we have count

Guys with the Ballon d'or shortlist being announced what would you world 11 would be this year.

19-20 MUFC

Believable2 Unbelievable0

My first 11 for this year would be...

______________Hart_____________
___Kompany__Hummels__Chiellini___
_________Yaya__Xavi__Vidal______
_____Mata_____Messi___Ronaldo___
_______________RVP_____________

I was stuck between Falcao and RVP but for me RVP is more complete than Falcao and not just an immense goalscorer but set pieces and assists too .

I have picked the team on merit alone not reputation and I have tried to make a team as balanced as I could and actually make it look like it could happen if a team could pull it off. This team would win anything and everything.

Legion

do u even watch barcelona? pique barely played last year?

Agree1 Disagree3

Yes I do. Barely played? Granted he had injuries but he played 38 games in all competitions then went on to help Spain win Euro 2012. Had he not been injured for a spell then Barca would've come much closer to winning the league. There is an argument for Hummels to play in there but Pique is hardly a leftfield choice.

TK-Red

Agree0 Disagree0

There is no doubting Pique's class but last year he was nowhere near as good as thiago silva, Kompany, Ramos or Pepe.

As for schweinsteiger, he was injured for half of the season, and painfully off form in the 2nd half. So even though he is probably the best in his position, 2012 was not his year. Vidal, Xavi, Khedira, Alonso and Modric have been better.

Now by this year i mean 2012, if you mean season well you might be right.

Mick

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll give you Schweinsteiger Mick. I was just trying to put a balanced team out. As for better centre backs, I suppose it depends on the reasons we pick them. Its no secret that the Ballon D'Or is influenced by what a player achieved in any given year. For example a player could score 40 goals in a year, win nothing and is usually beaten to the trophy by someone who scored 20 goals and won the World Cup or Euros. Thats part of the reason I put Pique in. Like I said in my original post, there are several players that you could pick for each position but in terms of quality and importance to their respective teams I would put Pique. I think Madrid could live without Ramos and although Thiago Silva is a good player, what did he achieve in the last 12 months other than a massively overpriced move to PSG. If you were to ask me what I think the best 11 in the world full stop is, I would probably give you a vastly different team.

TK-Red

Agree0 Disagree0

Suarez instead of RVP and I'd agree with you.

19-20 MUFC

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Of course anybody would prefer Vidal he is miles better than the other two and they will probably never reach anywhere near his class he is immense. If we could pull Vidal off for maybe Nani and £10-15 million I would be delighted.

Wanyam...Strootman is over rated. Wanyam is a beast and reminds me of Toure.

just wanted to compare our team with other teams by rating our Attack/Mid/Def/GK

Man united: Attack: A- 8.5, M- 7, D- 7.5, Gk- 8.
Barca: A- 9, M- 9.5, D- 8.5, Gk- 7
Real Madrid: A- 9, M-9, D-8.5, GK- 9
Bayern: A-8.5, M-8, D-8, Gk - 8.5
Chelsea: A- 8, M-7.5, D-8, GK-8
City: A-8, M-7.5, D-8, Gk-9
Arsenal: A-7, M- 7, D-7.5, GK-7.5
Juve: A-7.5, M-8, D-7.5, GK- 8.5

What do you guys think? and would you rate the teams differently ?

Believable2 Unbelievable8

Only an 8.5 attack when we have 2 of the best strikers in the world? and Neuer is better than Hart IMO.

Hoppy

Agree4 Disagree1

Barca defence 8.5 thats generous to say the least... If a team gets the ball off there midfield they can have damage done against them. You have underrated Chelseas midfield , Cities midfield and attack, overrated Madrids defence and Chelsea defence.

You think Rooney and rvp supplemented by Welbeck and Hernandez are only 8.5, my you are hard to please!
