i think valencia is a very important player for us, more so now as has shown he is excellent cover at rb . i personally would take a consistantly good valencia over a sometimes great nani, and it may be coincidence but rooney played alot better last year after valencia came back from injury
if we were to sell anyone to juve surely it would be berba?

If it is not bad enough that i had to sit through that terrible display on Saturday (only better as loads of my mates saw me sat next to Bryan Robson) then I come back on here and see it is full of plastic scousers using it as some sort of dating site. What do you think of this idea etc. And who are the idiots on this site who reply to them and engage them in conversations. The hole suarez vs rooney debate is quite good ha my opinion is rooney is best in league with silva and ageuro I think rooney is irreplaceable to united he makes us tick were as suarez will come and go out off a game but he is a real class act I think he type player united need we don't have a dribbler up top tat can do something different in tight spots .. I think lavezzi would be best signing up top we could get and a good defensive mid like martinez and let rooney roam about ..

heres one to think about , could we not have a premership -b leauge , which would enable all the younger players and reserves to get competive games , you could enclude clubs from lower down in the championship and make it that only these teams could get into the premership if they finish the hightest or something along them lines, think of the extra money this would bring to clubs , as the tv companys would go mad for it , it would give fans more chance to watch their teams , where tickets are hard to come by . i dont think it would be too much football , as even the lower placed premership teams have big squads now and they could field two teams easily ..............lfc

I'm the only only one who thinks that Rooney is one of the top 5 strikers around the globe? And he's just being wasted in MAN UTD always being forced to do 5 players job on the pitch and at Central Med? He will never reach what he wants, be the Best Player in the World, never. I really feel sorry for him. I know people will come up with history about doing the best for the club and whatever, but he's a player and he has his own objectives on his career. I think that is the time to buy capable players that can be at the same level of the best we have or we'll just waste the best of them(the best players in the team). Is really annoying for me to see Rooney playing at CM. He playing up front we'll score goals almost in every game, I don't doubt.

I was wondering were everyone thought Rooney's best position is..
Up top on his own were he got 34 goals the season before last and would have gotten more if he didn't injury his ankle.

Playing in the hole were he is excelling this year and he excelled in the second half of last season, were he dictated games against the big teams. If we had a midfield of Cleverley and Anderson, Rooney could drop in and help them if they are struggling. We witnessed at the weekend that Rooney will gladly get back and defend.
So would you buying a creative midfielder like Sneijder or Gotze. Or someone like Rossi, Benzema, or Higuain?
