ok here is what i think, first i think hernadaz is a little over rated and should have been taken off again barca.he is a good goal scorer but very bad link player and not the best at holding up the ball which leads me to think we need to hold onto berba.i think he got a bit of a raw deal, remember he was our main man when rooney was sulking.on to goalie i think it will be the spainish kid, in defence time to let wes brown go and also evra, he has been very average this yr and we have enough cover wit the twins, o'shea, johnny evans, smalling and i think young michael keane is good prospect, in midfield we have serious problems out wit gibson and nani and if we got good offer for fletcher him to.i think anderson could become world class and this is a huge season for him, carrick has great football brain and an honest guy also giggs park and toni, like to see cleverly and pogba get a good chance and maybe splash out on de rossi as midfield bully and modric as creator.as i said i'd give berba another go with rooney hernadaz and i think we could see a new owen next season.would like to see will keane and wellbeck get a fair shot and maybe diouf but not kiko i'd sell him, not good enough and has been given alot more chances.we have alot of good players coming through but they are not getting fair shot look at rossi and shawcross now .

man utd to snap up sneider for 30m modric for 22m and ash young for 25m

united will be unstoppable

If SAF and Gill went ahead and spent this kind of money, the only thing that would be unstoppable would be the Glazers collective bowel movements, and that would be very messi!

Just a quick note. . I think the Ashley Young deal will be sorted within the next few weeks. I know a lot of you think that it's not a good signing. .! You are all entitled to you options but I think the reason Fergie wants him is because he is good defensibly. He also has a very good work rate. I know Nani is a more skillful player but he is a bit naive in his positioning when defending. .!

I can understand peoples pessimism, because we have not bought a marquee signing in three years. But people are forgetting that we spent £32m on three top class talents. Valencia, Smalling & Hernandez. I don't know if we will sign a marquee this summer, but my gut feeling is we will. But I think this will happen on deadline day.

Lets just wait and see shall we?

"Let's say not that he's definitely coming but [that] there is a 60% chance that he will arrive."
Morratti on Sanchez.

That means there is a 40% chance he is going somewhere else, for a man who owns a football team he talks a lot of rubbish, I remember when he said we where interested in balotelli. . Thank god we swerved that one then.

Then young , Adam arrive and were told they r world class

The glazers take a dividend on the day city buy Sanchez so few notice
Chicarito signs for Madrid end aug after rumour it wud be swap for cr7 but glazers say Ron wanted no1 shirt held by free transfer friedal, so transf broke down.
Benzema signs for arsenal for 23mil aguero for 30mil but fergie says young and berb better.
Young scores 2 on debut Sydney compares him to messi
Window closes fergie says no value and off we go again

At the end of the day we won't be signing the likes of Benzema/Sanchez, expect players coming in that we have never heard of between 5-15 million pounds due to the fact fergie is clever in the Market and that we just don't have the funds other clubs have any more FACT

Can;t Man Utd going for Kaka hes not been a hit at Real Madrid. Real would be looking to re-coup at least £30 million for him. He would be a bad signing for UTD.

Modric represents value for money as he is proven in the EPL. Nasri too is about 22-23 years old we could get him for £20 million.

DM needed maybe Parker or Diarra or De rossi. Although Parker cheaper proven option again.

Be nice to see parker modric and nasri in midfield but can only see one CAM not two being bought as we have Anderson.

Agree about Kaka. Modric(CM) is not any better player than Kranjcar(AM) who would much cheaper. Nasri would cost 25-30mil min.that means Hazard is Arsenal player. Diarra no, Parker to old, DeRossi the best option but unlikely. Huddlestone or Tiotte could be option. Essien abs.YES but unlikely. Rodwell is most possible option he would be great signing!

The most overrated player in the premier league last season, don't say bebe cos no one had rated him or seen him, come to think of it no one has since.
Mine are:

Dzeko
Balotelli
Aaron Lennon
Rosicky
Ramires
Adam Johnson
Micah richards- that's just been forever don't get him, big and daft.
Bobby Zamora
Defoe

#Manchester United Signings#
#Ins and Outs#

I am not one of these guys saying David Gill is my source.

I know that David De Gae looks certain but if he was not to sign then Marten Steklenburg would. I have heard that De Gae is going to search for a house in Manchester soon but i can't see how when he will be playing for Spain in under-21s.

Ashley Young has come out and said he wants CL football. Utd have it and for 15M we would surely take him as a replacement for Ryan Giggs who will most likely retire next season.

Modric or Sneijder are my two favourite options and every fans option. But to me, the player who we wanted to sign in January, Adel Taraabt will be the best option for around 10m-15m.

Varane. A unheard of player. People won't like this signing because of this but ill be honest when we signed Chris Smalling for 10m i nearly threw up. And looking at his FIFA rating of 60 made me want to do too. I would give him a chance. Tall(6 ft 3 in.)

Rene Adler is not off the radar as Muslera isn't either. Sanchez and Giddurson(Hoffenheim) is a 9m option also.

Today i've just realised how bloody brilliant either Bastian Schweinsteiger or Daniele de Rossi would be in our midfield. If I were to choose 'ANY' midfielder in the world it would be Schweinsteiger without a second thought.

Peoplesay de Rossi plays in Italy, therefore the chances are he wouldn't make it in our League, bulls**t.
If you watch Daniele de Rossi, you will know he has what it takes to be a Premier League Player. I had the chance to see him at Old Trafford, in the Champions League, he is an unreal player.

If one was to sign, I would say it would be de Rossi, but how I would love to see Schweinsteiger running our midfield.

Eds, do you see any chance of either of these two ending at OT?

@Right-back is a position we really do not need to strengthen. Rafael & Fabio are top quality right-backs. Even O'Shea, Valencia, Fletcher & Cleverley can play there if the twins are injured.

SAF will not step down at the end of next season. He, himself, is getting fed up of hearing/seeing these rumours that he's going to step down. . The last words that came from his mouth about his future was that as long as his health was all good. . He's going to carry on til he's atleast 70.

Okay, so as people keep rightly suggesting, Fergie is known for a surprise signing of two.

So, considering that, I pose the question of potential shock signings Fergie could make.

Including 'shock rival club players', 'ageing loanees', 'MAJOR money spendings' and 'relatively unknown names'.

Anyone got any ideas apart from the same 10 names that get repeated in every other post on this site?

For me it would be:

Shock Rival player - Jack Wilshere
Ageing Loanee - Beckham
Major money - Ronaldo
Unknown - I dunno, if they are relatively unknown, I don't have the knowledge to be aware of them.

"Why does everybody think that Modric will come to United.
He has already gone on record as saying he loves his life in London.
So if Spurs do decide to sell him then it will be Chelsea who sign him."

You can love life somewhere and still be willing to move elsewhere for the sake of your career. Why would Modric want to come to Old Trafford? Does that really need answering?

This guy needs to leave Spurs. I don;t even think the most ardent of Spurs fans could feel confident about CL football any time soon. To do so tjhey will have to overcome Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City and a resurgent Liverpool side. Sadly, if anything, Spurs will finish lower next season.

If Modric wants to win in England, then United is the place to go, with a midfield slot open for him to thrive in.

If United will have one big midfield transfer, then he HAS to be the big favourite

why does everyone think that modric will come. He as already gone on record as saying he loves life in london so if spurs decides to sell it will be to chelsea

well modric is the type of player who will want to be remembered for his football talents and career not where he likes to live or is wife enjoys the shops every footballer as gone on record as saying if united come in for you then you go. modric if spurs do sell will have a choice make and be apart of history or live in london not much of a choice really is it

Jack Wilshere says
"It's no use just Robin van Persie going(complaining to the ref) because it looks like it's just him having a go at the ref. If we all get round him. . .You just see the other teams do it and you think 'we need to do it as well'. Man United are the best at it. They get round the referee. We have to be more of a team and be more aggressive and show more authority"

A day later RVP says
""If you want to witness a lot of complaints, you should just go the bakery or something. There's always people nagging there as well.
Chelsea players are always bitching against the referees. I really cannot understand that. Just shut the f*** up and focus on playing football."

Jose Mourinho has said that Benzema will definately move clubs in the summer. Does this mean he's coming to Manchester United??

Ed???

EH??? I JUST READ THIS: -

Mourinho also announced his intention to keep strikers Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuain, describing both players as "non-transferable" and believes his squad - strengthened already by the capture of Turkish playmaker Nuri Sahin from Borussia Dortmund and utility man Hamit Altintop from Bayern Munich- is shaping up well.

I didn't realise, but Vidal actually scored 10 goals this season. I don't get a chance to watch much of the European leagues unfortunately, so could someone else please comment on if his goals were from being free kick or penalty taker?

If he could come to United and chip in with 10 goals a season in open play as a defensive midfielder, I'd certainly like to see him here!

Jerv

@@

I only know of 1 pen he scored in a 1-1 draw against Bayern. He was also voted MOM in that match. With Ballack there i think he would prob be regular pen taker.

He is down as having 10 goals on some sites and 11 on a few end of season stats for the Bundesliga. He also has 2 in 7 games in Europe.

One thing I do know is he has one hell of a shot and a really good eye for a pass. He should be at the very least looked at as at 24 isn't old, European exp since 2007, plays to a high standard in a good league, Bayern were touting him for Bastians replacement if he went in Jan so is well thought of.

Napoli are supposedly stealing a march on others and have contacted Bayer about his availability, could this also mean Hamsik is defo going?

Imo he isn't an out and out CDM I would say he is an all action CM. Can do it all in one package and with coaching from Fergie and possibly Chilean teammate joining too in Sanchez im certain this guy would be a massive success at us and fill a massive gap that's been shown up umpteen times since Hargo's problems started.

personally i think united should buy modric for 20 million plus berbatov as spurs have said they would take him back, it would also provide a striker to replace defoes goals who is set to leave WHL, de gea is done deal, can't see schneider to united, to replace berbatov either higuain who is available for around 15 million or benzema who is unhappy at his lack of first team football. there is no chance of ronaldo returning to old trafford as fergie would not be prepared to pay the transfer fee and it is unlikely they would be able the £400,000 per week wages he is on at real madrid! !

Out of the 20 goals Berbatov scored this season 12 have come against WEST HAM, BIRMINGHAM, BLACKPOOL and BLACKBURN. .

He has gone missing in the big games(except the Liverpool game). .
A 30 million player should be an automatic starter in important games like UCL Knockouts + BIG 6 games irrespective of other players form(Hernandez) he should be able to make the striker position his own.

I'm sorry to say that Berbatov hasnt done that so its the right time for him to leave. .

It has already been posted on here on a number of occasions by other posters, but I will give you the low-down on Erick 'El Cubo' Torres. Next season there could be two Torres' in the PL, one that used to play for Liverpool that needs a puddle's help to score. And young Erick Torres, someone who we could expect to see at United next season. He is 18, plays for Chivas. He is nearly 6ft, good with his head and both feet.

He is scoring a goal every other game in Mexico and we have first option on him as part of the Hernandez arrangement. So could there be a new Torres in town next season? A Torres that can score goals? We will have to wait and see, but if Hernandez cost us £6m, this kid will cost us around £3m I would imagine. Could this be the main reason why Owen has signed a new deal? To keep coaching Hernandez, Welbeck, Cofie, Keane & possibly El Cubo? (The Cube).

Does the editor have any extra info on this fella?

Sydney! {Ed001's Note - is that the Torres Mexico brought on as a sub yesterday in the Toulon Tournament against France? First I have seen of him if it is, looked a decent player though, as did most of the players in that match to be fair.}

berbatov maybe outta contract next summer but we have an option to extend it by one more year if we want. So we could keep him for another year sit him on the bench all season then still extend his contract and sell him next summer although a bad season would hurt his resale value. There is only one player that would fill that Scholes role perfectly and that is Jack Wiltshire. Yes i know we couldn't afford him and Arsenal would never sell him, but if you can tell me a better midfield prospect i want to know.
