Hi Guys
I'm looking forward to tomorrows match I think its going to be a really good game.I kmow theres a chance both teams could cancel each other out but I've got a feeling its going to be a good game with plenty of goals.I go for a 3-2 win to us.I agree with some people on here that say if we get away from there with a win then the pressure really is on City.
as the great man says squeaky bum time.

"I'm not calling you a loser personnaly," I'm sorry mate but you clearly made reference to me. Don't worry about my grasp of banter mate, tbh I couldn't really care less about being calling a loser lol. I was just making a point. No hard feelings mate. I was just suprised to see the amount of talk about LFC, I know you never get involved in the slanging matches. GAGUS I agree some of our fans are obssesed with United but I think it goes both ways, it always has. Anybody going Spurs tommorow?

Last week, when Liverpool won the Carling Cup, Tel 1949 and lfc were immediately on this page gloating. Instead of celebrating the victory with their own fans, they tried to use it as a moral victory over United. That is obsession. United fans today, although I was rather annoyed to see it, were discussing how poor Liverpool actually are and having a couple of little digs at you for losing, on OUR PAGE. We drew 3-3 against Chelsea and Tel, lfc, Blair and Danny came on to have a dig over a draw. That shows how desperate they are to get one over on us.

What's with the liverpool overdrive? I respect our history. Regret even that our drive to 19 wasn't more of a challenge. in truth liverpool where knocked of their perch long ago the last title symbolic, but in reality just crossing t's and all that.

truthfully I said before the history of the two clubs in mind. I miss the genuine rivalry between the reds but there isnt.

who could imagine man city five years ago being the threat? arsenal chelsea and now we have city to humble. and tottenham throwing in the mix. chasing our tails. who would have thought it?

big time surreal it is, instead of banter with these clubs fans we are still yacking on about henderson carrol and adam. truth is they each stood out for their former clubs so why wouldnt liverpool feel justified in buying them? and what do i care? the joke wears thin.

apart from "derby" day with them and the odd lfc gem post and that piece of old furniture you wish youd sold years ago in blair i couldnt give a hoot till they caught up.

every post with liverpool in it? seriously?

we come so far to stay in the past? wake me up when the banter changes course

Gav I'm on here about as much as you pop over to oursite with crap jokes. Its not hard to post on here more often than most Mancs as you only have about 5 posters who actually leave a name and post regularly. Its just I post rather frequently at a time responding to people like you where as no one on the LFC site cares what you think tbh mate ;-) Herbie "losers like you" lol. I always respected you as one of the better Mancs but that is a silly comment mate, I'm hardly"loser" and its a petulant little dig. Also surely the fact that I'm here shows that I'm prepared to"suck it up" I don't see lfc or Tel or Blair anywhere mate. Also as I'm mainly on here to talk about football than to bitch I'm no keyboard warrior.

All of those that take the moral highground and moan that people like me come on this site you can now pipe down. All you hypocrites talking about LFC and GAGUS says we are obssesd! Before you start with the "but your on our site" I don't moan about people talking about us, its you all moaning about us. On to our game which you all want to talk about, fair play to RVP top class player, we need some one in his mould. 'Supasub' I post on here to have a laugh, like some of your fans post on ours that's why its a banter site.

People who rate Sturridge better than Welbeck...
Did u see that miss...?

Its just like what SAF said.. People sometimes just looks at another Cow in the field thinking its better than theirs.

How awful was Downing today? People harp on about Anderson being a waste of money. I'd take him over Downing, A**m and Henderson any day. 'King Kenny's' last ditch attempt was Andy Carrol. WOW!

they reckon you can tell a half decent team by its goal difference tally and plus 5 by liverpool is well quite frankly pitiful. no doubt we will be hearing conspiracy theories by lfc and jft96 and whoeverelse scousers who cant keep off our site about how big the woodwork is in liverpools matches and not about there rank poor finishing hence plus 5.as sydney says 22points ahead at the moment likely to be 30 by the end of the season and apparently our team is in decline do me a favour. still next year will be the big one for you lads wont it

Team i'd like to see tomorrow:

De Gea
Rafael
Evra
Evans
Ferdinand
Park
Scholes
Carrick
Giggs
Rooney
Berbatov

Happy to see Park and Giggs in the midfield, bit more steel than Nani and Young.
Thought Welbeck looked tired at the end of the england game and that Hernandez was awful last week at Norwich.
Give Berba a chance against his old club, let's make the ball stick up front for a change.
Rafael has got to play, the lad is just getting better and better every game.

Do you realise that Liverpool have now won 2 European cups 1 FA Cup and a league cup by a penalty shoot out in games in which they were never in the lead. No doubt they will soon be claiming that the league should be decided on a penalty shoot out. I AM KLOOT

This is a reply to Sydney's earlier comment that Modric and Sandro will be no match for Carrick/Scholes.

Why do you advocate the signing of Modric, if you don't think he will cope against what we already have? Surely that will mean that he is not good enough?

I think Modric will be plenty good enough for us and will perform well, it will be Sandro that will be the weak link in the Spurs line up.

I also hope that Van der Vaart starts on the right for Spurs, if Lennon plays then Evra will be in big trouble.

An interesting post earlier from Shappy about not signing players because of youth development, all the players that you mentioned will be good whether it be next season, or within 2/3. Also Januzaj, van Velzen and Barmby can be added to the list of players that will break through into the first team.

Activity will be minimal and i think due to the youngsters presence in the squad, then there is a possibility that an established player will come in.

Thats why i am leaning more towards Modric has he is established and would generally aid there development. When Giggs, Scholes and Carrick go then Fletcher would be the most senior player in the first team.

I certainly advocate a young team, but the squad instantly looks better with Modric in it. In 2/3 years we could see a very exciting team of:

In goal: De Gea, Lindegaard, Johnstone.

Defence: Fryers, Vidic (Maybe), Smalling, Jones, Evans, Rafael, Fabio + (Benatia? Dede?)

Wingers: Nani, Valencia, Young, Brady, Januzaj, Petrucci, Van Velzen.

Central Players: Pogba, Tunnicliffe, Fletcher, Barmby, Cleverly, Anderson + Modric.

Forwards: Rooney, Hernandez, Welbeck, Macheda, Lingard, Keane.

There may be a few exceptions amongst that lot, whether Vidic is here in 2/3 years is dependant on his recovery. Anderson might already have blown it and may leave (although he's going to make it in my opinion). If he were to leave then id like Kovacic to come in or Xhaka.

Up top a striker will come in at some point, a young one i think, but even without reinforcements we are pretty good in those areas. I also think Macheda, if given a good chance will become a top player, he has shown glimpses of class that needs a bit more exposure.

Overall that is a good sized squad, a balance of experience with Modric, Vidic, Lindegaard, Rooney, Hernandez, Fletcher etc. And then we have quality youth coming through.

Despite the doom and the gloom sometimes after a bad result, we have a lot to look forward to. Its a very exciting time at Manchester United.

Did anyone watch the Benfica - Porto game last night?

Not going to mention any specific players so i don't get accused of "MOTD" fever (one of the daftest things i've ever heard of, if a player stands out they stand out, your going to mention it or at least watch a few games of them, if they carry on impressing you mention them as someone worth looking at)

But anyway several players we have been linked with recently played in that game, wondering if anyone else watched it or if we had a scout there?

Does make me chuckle the amount of time spent on this page by:
Blair, tel, lfc, smithy etc.....
I reckon they secretly go to bed with their Manchester united pyjamas on, clutching their Manchester united annuals.

No football today so let's have this for todays discussion and this is purely for United supporters not some plastic scourers who live their lives through this page. If City win the league this season I predict they will win it for the next 3 years on the bounce and here is why.
United.... The Glazers bleeding of the club is showing its reward by the fact we are struggling in Europe against average teams. We are bringing players out of retirement. Remember the Ginger Prince retired for a reason and none of us disagreed. But it was him and Giggs who scored for us last week and where are their replacements. We have no natural leader on the pitch and when Vidic is out no dominant centre half. We will be linked with every player under the sun in the summer but spend no more than the £30 million he is allowed but we will here the same nonsense about value for money etc. City will only go and strengthen what is already a very good squad.

Arsenal.........Whilst Wenger is in charge they will never win the league again as he will never change his principles of pass pass pass pass pass. Great players like RVP and Wiltshire will get fed up like Fabrigas and Nasri and leave they will continue to fight for top 4.

Chelsea......... An ageing side that is rotten to the core with self serving players who will stab any new manager in the back unless they have the power. Does the Russian want to spend the amount of money it would take to overhaul that squad i don't think so.

Spurs.......... Flattered to deceive under Harry. Played some nice football but you all know in your hearts that they will always falter when the pressure is on like last week against Arsenal that was totally spineless. Will be interesting if and it is a big if Harry takes the England job and Jose took over. If he was given money then who knows but i doubt that Spurs want to spend on his kind of budget.

Liverpool.......Well they are just some old music hall joke that we still laugh at. Every year they will tell us that next year they are going to do this and they are going to do that. The Liverpool old boys club in the media will tell us that King Kenny or whatever senile bafoon they have managing the club has them playing the "Liverpool Way". And every year they will float around mid table waiting for the two times a season they play us and it becomes their cup final. But serious title challengers do me a favour.

So there it is can any of you seriously see who is going to challenge City over the next three years when you look at their squad and the money they have to invest....I AM KLOOT
