To be fair, Liverpool just did what people have been saying for months, target City’s weak defence and they’ll make mistakes. Shows how a mix of pressing high at the right times, and attacking their defence with pace can pay big dividends.

Wait and see the difference next weekend, we’ll sit back to soak up the pressure, and City will look a world class team again.

If 2 words for me describe ray wilkins they'd be pure class, few have it, especially in football, which made butch stand out even more, bless his soul and bless his family at this time, words don't do him justice.

So sad . Such a "Lovely Chap". Didn't realise how ill he has been over the last couple years -bypass in last year. Goodbye Butch now playing with our other lost heroes and when not selected commentating on it 😆😆.

One of my early heroes, gone too soon. Met him a few times when I was younger, and one of the few stars who lived up to my expectations. I've seen posts all over social media from fans of every hue, which says a lot for the affection he was held in. Also a bloody good footballer. RIP, Butch.

I remember thinking when ray left us to go to Italy that he had had a better season than robson who is my favourite ever player that’s how good he was rip ray a true gent.

A sad day that highlights just how brief and precious life is. Ray Wilkins was a gentleman and a fierce competitor showing that you can be both. The world of football will miss him, however those who will feel his loss the most our his friends and family. I hope they can find some comfort in the outpouring of affection that will come from the football family. Rest in peace Butch.

If I was Pep, I wouldn't put my best XI this weekend. More importantly i want to focus on the CL return game next week and no to incur unnecessary injuries. I'll put a team to play defensively for a draw and win if lucky. Afterall Citeh will win the PL anyway. That's what I'll do if I was Pep.

Pep play defensively? Realistically they can rest Aguero and play Jesus, they can rest sane and play Sterling, rest silva and play b Silva, their squad is that strong even if they rest a few they are probably still favourites to beat us this weekend.
