with regards to fairweather fans i,m now 52 yrs old when i was about 8 my dad who was a sh***ty fan like the rest of my deluded family took me to maine road to watch a derby game my first ever game thinking that as sh***ty were on the up i would follow suit and become a fan i watched the game and was mesmerised by the genius that was george best and from that day on i have been red through and through despite the objections of my family (sad people who in the last few years seem to have found there voices again for some strange reason ) i went to ot a few weeks later and at the ege of 10 got a paper round to pay for a league match ticket book iwent home and away from the age of 14 and was even there on the last day of the season we were promoted back to the 1st division at leeds we got beat but had already been promoted so joy all round we got the crap kicked out of us after the game thats what it was like then sad to say and then came all the years of false dawns watching liverfool win everything going and still i went then we won the prem and the rest is as they say history and should the worst happen and we fal on bad times again i will still be there cos allthough i will go and watch other games featuring other teams and even admire there skill i will never feel the love and passion that i feel for united though it is sad to say a lot of people who say there united fans are only here while were winning and like keano said we dont want or need the prawn sandwich brigade the motto of this long winded post is

The Moon!! Referring to Bolton team Sunderland Newcastle Stoke etc re- educating in football I don't need think you should take your own advice. All these teams are a average teams . We should beat these teams week in week out admittedly the odd bad day. If barca can tear apart a man utd team year after year and Madrid they will def not struggle against likes of Newcastle Bolton . Yes it's more physical granted but we should be on level par with barca as greatest team in Europe and we should quash Bolton etc. If we don't then we should start to re valuate how great our team actually is . Don't give me only two teams in Spain coz there are others and even so when them two teams play in champions league they majority of time tear most teams apart. Wise up Moon and stop being so biased.

Guys the reason we didn't sign WS wasn't to do with his so-called wage demands and other pathetic fabrigated demands ie jet mentioned etc.
I will just say this- he came with some baggage that SAF just didn't want to take on. SAF is no fool and when it came to crunch time some things came up which UTD/SAF felt would rock the Utd boat in the coming season. Too big a risk!
No doubt this will come out in the next few mths in the gutter press.
Thats all I can say at this time.

Not so sure Evra deserves all this criticism, i agree maybe his ability is slowly fading but he's a great person to have at united, very mature and proffesional, always keeps the team's morale high! Great influence on the young players we have. I think fabio should be given a little bit more playing time in LB position though as he was on great form towards the end of last season!

Personally i think he is a class player if a bit injury prone of late.
I said on this page a couple of months ago that i thought he would be a good solution for us in CM and was shot down in flames and called an idiot.
Obviously all you so called experts know more than Wenger, think he is a good signing for them.

TK RED, GAGUS and all you reds, was in the pub last night and got talking to a Man Utd fan from Hong Kong, nice guy but this set me thinking how many GENUINE Utd fans are out there ie fans who have lived through all the bad times as well as the good times and STILL follow United, with SKY the EPL goes all over the world and fans see a sanitised version, and all the new Asian united followers, are they just jumping on the bandwagon of what they perceive to be a successful team, fickle and will change allegiancies when another big team starts winning. Myself, as you know I am Celtic fan and have followed them through good and not so good times, but I dont bend with the wind, I am Celtic through and through, I wonder how many united fans can genuinely say the same, especially the fickle asian fans who see cups and trophies as a marker for supporting a team. hail hail Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Tim, all the regulars on here know I am a CFC supporter, my affection for Man Utd came from my late dad. Football is now a global sport and clubs need to maximise this to their benefit. So here we are guys, no new CM, no Sneijder, am gutted.
RFT was right all along the glazers are not prepared to pay top dollar and we have to look to the youth to get us through again.
A great start to the season and good to see Clev playing well but we have not cured our midfield ills especially away from home, i think Bolton will be a stern test especially without Vidic playing.
So Syd and Gan what happened to our new CM that you assured we would sign and you were wrong again about Berba leaving, which actually i'm glad about, would rather have Berba around.
I think the forward line and the defence look great as usual ,the midfield still worries me can still see us getting overrun by average teams which is sad for a club so great as ours.
Just look at what City have got in midfield compared to us, frightening.
Wes says today still might sign in Jan i really hope so as i think by then our midfield will have seen for the weak sham it is.
Anyway rant over love you Fergie, and Gary Nev has been coming out with some bizarre comments recently, stay off the diazepam gaz.

Really? First we had Blaire A** Pain coming to this site week after week and preaching The scousers only to see them lose so much. He had to hide in his bed and retire from this site for like 6 months. Then all of a sudden Mr lfc comes along and a** pain is back. and now a redeyed person is coming to our site and preaching up Martin Kelly and Downing who wouldn't even get in the united reserves(Yup! i said it alright) thanks to the quality of our squad. Sometimes, I just feel pity on you blown up scousers, go talk crap in your own site and stop gloating on your latest premier league title which is 3 decades old.
