I think I'll leave the fabrication of stories around here to you. You seem to have it pretty well covered.

As I've already said - it is very convenient for you that I pay very little attention to the rubbish you come out with. It says very little to be honest as it is so easy to do (I just check to see whose name is at the bottom of the post before I read it).

What says a lot is that there have been many occasions when people have called you on your supposed 'inside knowledge' and you've had no response other than "He's never been wrong before".

We both know I'm right - as do a lot of the regular posters on this site.
T0MB0Z

TOMBOZ, maybe I am just stupid but if you do not read Sydney's posts how do you know what they say? You said 5 players Sydney has previously said will join United, how do you know this?

I'm very hopeful of Sneijder being completed by the end of this week or early next week.

007, do you still think he will come? :)

MPez {Ed007's Note - I do think he will be a United player and as I have championed his singing for months I can't really change my mind now}

BIG FIGHT SPECIAL LIVE TONIGHT ON THE MU PAGE-....ALAN SYDNEY PARTRIDGE VS......GAN THE FLEET FOOTED NGIAK.........i know who my moneys on........lfc"""
dear mr lfc
ngiak would always lose dear sir
and tomboz has also probably found out why
no one can out-talk the Sydney!
no matter how many times you point out his flaws
he comes up time and time again with more twisted logic
that grows with every statement and reply
ngiak has neither the linguistic capability nor the cunning mind to pull these verbal Houdini acts, off
he can only bow down to superior tongue and written wordtwisting magic that Sydney's alone Bourne out of an ego that has put him in a pedestal on this site that he cannot possibly ever be wrong or even questioned
ngiak can only stick his thin penguin neck out to be one of a very very select few who dare point out glaring mistakes that most just reverently lap up, which also include most eds here

I was interested in David Gill's comment last week of our interest in "players of a certain age". That has in the past proved to be the younger end of the market and not 27 as is Sneijder.
I muse maybe we are not after Sneijder but it suits SAF for others to think we are whilst he pursues someone else. Does it suit him that whilst City seem to follow our every move they are looking at Sneijder and miss the one we really want.
Given the previous age comments as well it would surprise me if we signed Sneijder. Nasri, Ganso Thiago are far more the age of player we have looked at.

We dont need WS, and, he will not be bought. Give Cleverley and Pogba game time. I think Pogba could be something really special. The most exciting youngster to come thru united for years

Howdy lads,

Just thought I would add my two cents. I have a gut feeling that sneider will be ours. Sir alex plays big deals close to his chest and I'm sure he's doing the same here. If we get sneijder, I wouldn't rule out inter going for nasri.

As for berbatov, the guy is obviously class and is good at what he does. Holds the ball up and bring the midfield into play. Probably perfect foil if we do snatch sneijder...ball up to berba, laid back to sneijder to make the splitting pass to rooney? (Well it works on fifa) lol.

I think we all realise that we need that midfield enforcer. Someone to put themselves about abit. We have fletcher and he will do fine till pogba comes of age.

Oh and well beat city 3-1 tommorow, vidic to score first. Just cos its happy days in the bookies then

Duncan Castles, a writer for The Sunday Times claims that details about Sneijder's future will be published later today. Seems to suggest that it's to do with Man Utd, but he's not giving anything away (the story has to be published first before he can release it).

I don't know what is more annoying WS appearing on this the whole time or people jumping as soon as they hear the faintest rumour from a paper city are coming interested... My view on WS is it's united or inter he has already said he doesn't want city... All these young players gotze, ganso, mata etc who do u think is the better player of of these potentials or WS forget age etc who's the best player... Does anybody here really think city need to buy new midfielders I know I don't think so there team has so much depth when was the last time we saw Santa cruz in a city jersey... Nasri has not poped up in transfer news in a while do u not think there is the fantist chance he might see out his contract?? Berbatov is laid back but I think it's his lack of running that makes him seem so lazy

Well I will be really dissappointed if we dont end up with Sneijder. I think he would really suit our style and compliment what we have already. It will be funny seeing the weeky wage bill of City's as the possibly £150k Aguero and Sneijder's on top coupled with their multiple massive earners they cant shift for love nor money. You really do get City fans playing on the Aguero story that he knew they were the right club only after speaking with Zabaleta. Haha I didn't know he handed out the paychecks there.

Anyway lets hope we stay on track and get WS as I think SAF wont go for another if we failed trying to get 3 targets.

If Sneijder is off to City then so be it. He would be a great signing for whoever gets him. He would improve any squad and walk into almost every team in Europe. However, as has been stated by myself and others on this site in terms of value for money and our clubs usual philosophy of developing younger talent into top class players, Sneijder doesn't seem to fit. Gotze should be our top target. He is destined to be a world class player. There are obviously others such as Nasri, Costa, Hamsik, Moutinho etc but Gotze should be the main target. I maintain I will be happy if we sign Sneijder but would be over the moon if we got Gotze.

nothing is creditable dear sir unless it came from Sydney and his mysterious source in his head
all the numerous reports from numerous newspapers are not credible
a truly amazing statement from mr Sydney

i see saf has apparently banned anderson, from what he termed a couple of establishments of a dubous nature in downtown manchester.yes its been confirmed that anderson is indeed now barred completly from the big bun and cake shop and the big portion fish chip shop. saf said maybe this will put a end to all the constant speculation ,that anderson is really just a big bum.........lfc

What a great goal by the Ginger Prince last night.
I'm gonna miss him so much this season it's almost like there has been a death in the family.
A wonderful family man who is a great example for all young footballers out there, never wanted the limelight just got on with his job.
Scholesy I salute you sir you are a scholar and a gentleman, we will never forget you.

so if he has gone to city for the extra cash, good one, i would rather have a player at the club wants to be there and to win things, not because the wages are better some of these guys are unbelievable, its all about money, hopefully the gossip is wrong ut as they say "there is no smoke without fire".
greed seems to replaced all thoughts these days, its sad but true, perhaps sneider is looking at the pay days tevez has had and thinking i want a few of these, dont forget he just signed a new 5 year contract last year but 12 months on the grass looks greener else where.

Can I as a Celtic fan ask the following questions?
Paul Scholes testimonial I believe was very well attended, my point is this Mr Scholes has had a very lucrative career at Man Utd and to give him a money spinning testimonial is in my eyes wrong if he has not donated to charity.
I say this because in tuesday in glasgow there is a charity match between Celtic Legends and Man Utd Legends with ALL the proceeds going to the African Famine Appeal, this is more worthy because half of the money raised was supposed to be going to a young Celtic player John Kennedy who had to give up a very promising career due to a serious knee injury, young John has waived this money (thousands of pounds) because of the urgent plight of the starving children in Africa.
Young John Kennedy earns nowhere near Scholes but puts him to shame by his generosity.Timalloy

Good morning Guys

I have just watched Paul Scholes testimonial and I have to say that as good as potential targets such as Sneider,Nasri and Modric are I'm afraid that none of these and anyone else can replace the great man. There is only 1 Paul Scholes and the man just oozes class.Happy retirement Ginger Prince

'Gan'

You are a liar my friend, there is not a single paper printing such a story today or yesterday for that matter. If you are going to sh1s stir perhaps you should back it up with evidence.

Sydney!"""
dear mr potential ed Sydney!

well disregarding the paper that ngiak saw it in, in a small asian country,
it was even reported in the BBC gossip column about 5 days to a week ago...
and ngiak is afraid
after havind being branded a s**t stirrer and a liar.
unlike you dear sir
who always speak the truth and all you post are pure facts, ya?

whats you thoughts on Diouf? i think hes has great potential, oviously now hes not united quality but still better than macheda. i dnt think we shud sell him this year, i think we should loan him out again to a premier league club and see how he develops atleast it will increase his value

In the age of austerity, wouldn't it make even the slightest bit of sense to go in for a player like goetze, who has already proven himself more than capable in a superb bundesliga-winning season than cash-grubbing, image-rights-bickering, worn-down wesjey sneijder who basically sat out the previous year with Inter and possesses a less-than-stellar reputation as a team mate. This has all the potential to be another Ozil moment for us. Pull the trigger.

{Ed007's Note - To be honest Moon, Sydney is too valuable a poster to take him off the site to be an Ed.

How sad. {Ed007's Note -Yes I totally agree, you are. People that have the guts to post their opinions and sign a name to it get more respect on any site than some no name like you. Sadness is the fact that this would even cause you concern to comment on, IMO. Although I did notice you haven't even got the minerals to use a name while disrespecting regular posters on this site. Just be careful mummy doesn't catch you watching freeviews of semi clad women on your TV, because it might be sad, but it is true that you are boring me now.}
