"Cleverley has only played about 5 games for us yet these are being used as the basis to call him a GREAT player. Incredible. He has potential to be a good player and having watched his career I have been waiting for him to come back and play for us.
Fletcher , we knew as far back as February he had a major problem yet went through the summer window doing nothing. Fletcher is 28 already and really an axis of Fletcher Cleverley is not good enough.

Red Man"

I don't remember saying in my post that Cleverly was a great player. I only ask you if you remember the beginning of the season, where a full squad seemed to show little problem with the midfield. Cleverly and Anderson worked very well together. I appreciate that we may need to bring in another CM in the summer, I am not arguing this. But again, when mentioning Fletcher, you bring up his age. Giggs and Scholes are 37 and 38, and currently still proving you wrong. Fletcher could potentially have another decade of playing time (though with his illness it is unlikely). I don't see why you feel it necessary to mention his age.

All of this is besides the point anyway - according to you the point of the post was the fact that we are relying on Scholes and Giggs. My point was that there are other first team players more than capable and currently injured.

Age has nothing to do with it.

Percy is bang on!

Stop trying to turn this into a hate crime against giggs when the facts are:

Can't use his right foot
Can't tackle
Can't head
Can't play it simple
Can't keep Up With the game

It must like having a day off for opposition CM when they are up against giggs,

Left wing he was class and can still do a bit part for us but that's it. I bet the rest of the team get well
Pissed off when they see the team sheet, especially Rooney as he ends covering for the most part. I know it's a rant but this has been winding me up since last season and the lack of activity in the market is wrong, look at Parker at spurs, what a signing!

was watching mnf before the game and it showed this season that hernandez byhimself gt us 9 points not talkbout the goals where numerous goals, just the 1s where hernandez won it 4 us or gt us the ppoint, and the amount of ppl here that say shud sell hernandez when ppl ask whow ud they buy and sell etc. ye the boy isnt great and running with the ball but what he does good he does it brilliantly, i bet once he gets a full proper season without injury and rotations he'd get 30 goals plus a season the chelsea def cudnt handle him, hopefuly he starts against liverpool

Will Keane guys, how far do you think he'll go?

I personally believe if he could earn himself a loan move to a west brom or something like that.

(similar to what Welbeck did last year)

He could turn into a fabulous player. He has is just as much of a finisher as welbeck, but seems alot more creative and can pick out some real passes.

Exciting times for United's youth.

Hi everyone,
I am not here to critisize anyone or be so negative. And i do have complete faith in SAF. But you got to admit.. sometimes he makes mistake even though in long run he has guided Man utd to glory.
I am talking about Ravel Morrison, I know he has his problems.. but who doesn't? I mean kids these days, you got to just look around ur neighbourhood to see what i m talking about. And i know he earns lot more.. so he has more responsibility. But he needs rite support. Friends, like Tunnicliffe. You have got to admit, the boy is one of most talented in europe. Yes he has problems but when it come to football pitch, in last year Fa youth cup game v liverpool.. when Pogba got red card... and that other kids were fighting.. who had coolest head and was commanding in the team. RAVEL MORISON. He just calmly played and even tried to break up the fights even thoguht he was being attacked ridiculously by scousers! I know he demanded more playing time with europa league and everything. Even if we couldnt give him chance in man utd we could have signed him and send him for a loan. Its SAF and Man utd. What we can even sort out a good loan place for the kid( BOlton or posh etc). All I am saying is we could have made some effort. We are Man utd and we had so many home growns. Now we have scholes, giggs, welbeck, cleveryly thats it!! and 2 almost retiring soon. Yes i know pogba is coming soon but still. We had 3 beautiful midfield who understand each other... POGBA, TUNNICLIFFE, R. Morrison. We had so many players who couldnt perform and we know that they r average, ANDO, BEBE, Obertan, Diouf. So why couldnt we give chance to a very talented our own home grown? There by giving him the trust and inspiration to work hard on his loans. Atleast We could have put a buy back clause.
Only way i can see, that we can make up for it is to ROSS Barkley!(we r damn sure we aint getting Wilshere).

There once was a team who had the world at there feet, they were on the cusp of greatness but fate had other ideas and their lives were cut short on a snowy munich runway. But there greatness lives on in those who remember them, the club who's identity is now so tightly wrapped with them that it is impossible to distinquish the two as seperate beings. Our hearts beat as one as we are united, and on this day I will shead a tear for those who were lost on that sad day, reat in peace princes of manchester.

This will be my only post today out of respect for the busby babes. All other conjecture should be put aside today as we remember the greatest side to have never reached its peak.

MUST READ

"Anton is my little brother. We have grown up together and I looked after him when we were kids. If something is going to affect him and hurt him, I am always there as a shoulder to lean on. In moments like this, when things are so public and you can't really say anything, it can be frustrating.

"For my family, yes, it has been tough. At the end of the day, my brother has not brought any accusations to anyone. He is not the accused. But he has had to sit there and take abuse from some small-minded people, which has been very disappointing."

LFC fan here, i come in peace. 6th February 1958, another sad day in English football`s history, i will and hope many others do, stop for a second and pay my respects to those who gave their lives to do what they loved to do, play for a great football team and club. We in reality have great respect for each other as football clubs and are envious of each others success through the years, but its days like this, and April 15th, that puts everything into perspective. Those Busby Babes and the others that perished would have been proud of the comeback you made yesterday ,on such an emotional day. they Will Never Walk Alone..........Dom

One cold and bitter Thursday in Munich, Germany,
Eight great football stalwarts conceded victory,
Eight men who will never play again who met destruction there,
The flowers of English football, the flowers of Manchester

Matt Busby's boys were flying, returning from Belgrade,
This great United family, all masters of their trade,
The Pilot of the aircraft, the skipper Captain Thain,
Three times they tried to take off and twice turned back again.

The third time down the runaway disaster followed close,
There was a slush upon that runaway and the aircraft never rose,
It ploughed into the marshy ground, it broke, it overturned.
And eight of the team were killed as the blazing wreckage burned.

Roger Byrne and Tommy Taylor who were capped for England's side.
And Ireland's Billy Whelan and England's Geoff Bent died,
Mark Jones and Eddie Colman, and David Pegg also,
They all lost their lives as it ploughed on through the snow.

Big Duncan he went to, with an injury to his frame,
And Ireland's brave Jack Blanchflower will never play again,
The great Sir Matt Busby lay there, the father of his team
Three long months passed by before he walked again.

The trainer, coach and secretary, and a member of the crew,
Also eight sporting journalists who with United flew,
and one of them Big Swifty, who we'll ne'er forget,
the finest English 'keeper that ever graced the net.

Oh, England's finest football team its record truly great,
its proud successes mocked by a cruel turn of fate.
Eight men will never play again, who met destruction there,
the flowers of English football, the flowers of Manchester
