Ed united need a midfield the likes of gerrard and Adam but there too good for united so they should get Delap or someone like that what do you think ed {Ed007's Note - I think you're a knob mate TBH what do you and everyone else think of that? I'd be embarrassed turning up anywhere with an ex-Rangers boo boy (reject) playing for my team, not to mention Andy Carroll. C*****e A**m looks like a wet Scream mask hanging on a washing line, and has less teeth than the mask!! In case you have missed it here is the CFC fans in full voice:

Is there any chance of CR7 being a united player next season?

With the England international coming up and no premier league football for a while, I was just wondering what people thought of this being the new England team in a few years:

J.Hart K.Walker C.Smalling G.Cahill L.Baines
P.Jones
T.Cleverly J.Wilshere
A.Johnson A.Young
W.Rooney

Thoughts?

Rumour coming from the media today is that CR7 could return to Old Trafford to take part in the Rio Ferdinand testimonial.

With the problems we have had at full back this season and in particular at left back it looks like a bad decision we made letting O' Shea going to Sunderland.
I always liked him good player, versatile and loyal and anybody who scores the winner at the Kop End in the last minute has to be a legend of sorts!
Anyway I think Evra's time may be up and think we should go and get Baines.
I think Baines would be ideal for us he is a good defender but a wonderful crosser of the ball, he knows the league and Everton with their financial problems could be willing to do a deal.
Seems the logical replacement for me rather than Izaguirre who is injured and playing in a poor league and Alba who doesn't know the EPL at all and may need time to settle.

Hi - my post is below the one from Ngiak:

ngiak had a post yesterday that was left out
sad
out of sight and now out of mind
anyway the post was about new players brought in
from the same sources that were 100% accurate pre season
apparently there will be 3 youngsters and a senior player brought in soon
in the negotiation phase, hope they work out
hope this gets posted
gan {Ed007's Note - Wasn't me mate. I had actually been wondering where you had been.}

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do you know if Andreas Pereira was one of the 3 young players mentioned by your source? And there's also Jordan Ibe from Wycombe who we're supposed to be very interested in. Another is the 15 year old lad Mason Bennett who debuted for Derby County recently, so could he be one of the 3?

Do you have any further info as to who any of these players we're supposed to be targetting might be?

Cheers

Red Rob

----------------------------------------------------

{Ed002's Note - The post was not left out it was put in the dodgy rumours page as it was simply fishing nonsense with no detail. Enough information to have you write responses like this.}

Just a question to see what people think on the matter... In your opinion will Ravel Morrison break into the 1st team and make it as a regular at united ??

Agree = yes... disagree = no

Im sick of seeing the stuff about Goetze, yes he is a good player. But if he was that good surely he'd of made a decent enough impact in the Champ's League. His statistics domestically say he is an exceptional talent but we aint gonna see him at Old Trafford. And for 40+ Million i wouldn't wanna what with the chance he may not settle well into the league. We're continually linked with him as are Arsenal, Madrid, Barca, Bayern and Inter which out of the lot i could only see him going to Bayern, Barca or Madrid. I think we should take a look at Modric, Lucas, Ganso or Eriksen who we could possibly have a chance at getting.

Modric has gotta be the man for me, has everything quick precise passing, eye for a long pass and just recently showed he has quite the eye at goal. When Capello retires there is going to be a big bidding war for him as its pretty much a dead cert that Redknapp will be next manager and all their best players will be wanting to up sticks unless in a very good position.

with regard ravel morrison

He is actually under hyped, but when he is finally unleashed to the rest of the world, there will be some very jealous fans from opposition clubs with their very silly comments, just like yourself.

Sydney!

how the hell can he by under hyped when he is not a first team player, the guy has not got what it takes to make it at united, he may be talented but he has not got the work ethic or mental ability to become a top player, you only have to read the guys twitter to realise he aint the sharpest tool in the box..

One problem that comes to mind over the continued debate surrounding Pogba and Morrison is that we don't have any leaders in midfield to help progress them and bring them along. In real terms there is only Giggs and he is too old now to be playing regularly in midfield.

Whereas when we borught through Scholes, Butt, Beckham and Nevilles we had Keane, ince,Kanchelskis, Giggs was already a regular then and we still had Sharpe. Also we had Parker at RB and Irwin at LB with Mclair, Hughes and Cantona upfront When you look at the ages of these already 1st team players 23-30 they were well established players. If we look at our team now the midfield is makeshift at the very best. Cleverly does look very good but i think we are missing a top DM to take some pressure of the midfield as we are having players like Carrick and FLetcher being forced to play as DM when they are clearly not DM.

I personally would like to see Chica and Rooney upfront together as i think Chica is etter than Wellbeck and is more clinical. Wellbeck is still young and would make a better impact sub at the moment.

I think we should buy a DM in jan as it won't hold back tunnicliffe pogba and morrison, there all still young and having a top DM would only help to progress Pogba and Tunnicliffe. I can see Pogba becoming a driving box to box midfielder for us but since our midfield is questionable at the moment then i think there wold be too much pressure to put on our youngsters as they would be closely scrutinised if they didn't make an immediate impact.

Really Fergie should have got Parker cheap and knows the prem like back of his hands especially if money was a problem.

If were still 2nd at New year i don't think Fergie will buy any plyers in Jan as he will think were doign well we don't need any players. I think if we had lost maybe 4 games already then he would definately be looking to bring in reinforcements.

Remember last season we didn't play great football but won the league and got to CL final by often grinding out results.

So if that is how Fergie wants to play it then i can't see any major changes occuring in the near future other than players leaving and being brought throught the youth into squad/1st team.

Food for thought ........... we all have supreme faith in the youth players coming through, with Pogba and Morrison seeming to be the pick of a very talented bunch. Most people are pushing for these two players to be more involved and see them as future stars for us, yet despite our obvious problems in certain areas Fergie has not really involved either. Well, could it be that Fergie sees the future differently, Pogba is stalling on a contract, will he be here next season, Morrison's problems are well documented, maybe Fergie thinks that his continual problems outweigh his tremendous ability. I for one will not be counting on these two players having a long term career at United. I hope I'm wrong, but there must be reasons why Pogba especially has not been involved in league games, not even a 10 - 15 minute subs appearance to help him gain experience. Let's not forget that Fergie has always been a believer that if they are good enough then they are old enough. Like I said, food for thought....

hi ed, just wandering who you think the best option would be to sign in jan or summer, Ross "the boss" Barkley, or Mario Gotze?
Likkle Duggo {Ed007's Note - I would choose Gotze.}

Kuszczak! Bad timing and bad decision and very bad statement.

1- what is he still doing there?

2- he's the 4th goalkeeper, y waste wages with somebody we don't use?

Now...

One day I spoke about Rooney situation last year when he wanted to go, people called him traitor and... What about the clubs loyalty to the players? When a team wants to get rid of the players they just do. Simple and you have many examples.

Lets see both sides:
Clubs always demand loyalty and players demands respect and loyalty from the club too.

If you're a professional and you have opportunity to play in a Euro Cup and you're just wasting you career at one club that don't value you work but keep you there without playing you would the same thing.

SAF is defending UNITED interests and the keeper is defending his, normal. Shame the attitude and statement he made. He's being paid but he canno't play and do what he likes the most, so give the guy a break.

Look at O'shea and Brown did they want to leave the club after many years of service and LOYALTY? No.
So I think that everyone must defende his own interest when nobody will care for you after 1 or 2 years.

If is not needed just let him go him and the rest of useless players we've been keeping all this time without doing nothing. He has 29 or 30years old is the time for him to get his career back on track. He's better than many keepers at PL.

I really don't understand, we sold O'shea versatil and loyal and can play everywhere in the defence and mid and we keept alot of rubbish.

The truth is, we can't make everybody happy when dealing with big squads and is really difficult to manage all this, so, I won't blame any side till I understand the reall situation. But i hope this can be solved without affect the dressing room.

CLINT DEMPSEY can be our solution to CM problems,as he can hold the ball and can even score also his set pieces are good... wat say??

Sorry, forgot to mention in my last post that as we bid for Alcantara. This obviously means SAF is trying to fill the role left by Scholes with a top young player. We still had Cleverly on the fringes but he can't play every game. My choices for the void infront of the defence would be firstly Martinez then M'villa. In attacking role Gotze then maybe Munain if he can fill that position.
Think we missed a trick not gambling on Diego Ribas in the summer. Small price to pay for such a talented player. Even Scott Parker dare I say it and the lad James mcarthy at Wigan.

Guys we are all getting like last year and trying to work ourself up into the hope we will sign who we need and get it sorted in Jan.

Now I along with a few on here have highlighted not just the CM but the LB issue for well over a year.

If we can see it and SAF can also surely see it but 3 windows have gone by and nothing has been done in these areas.

Now trust in youth? I agree but on the flipside the youth are either not ready or not deemed the correct players yet by SAF.

Either way they are clearly not the answer yet as they would have been used by now. So with that in mind SAF should move in Jan.

But what if he doesn't?

Instead of a transfer wishlist what would all you guys think if the window went by and yet again we moved for nobody in these areas?

I would not be happy in the slightest and would seriously be questioning our transfer people if this happened again.

What would you all think?
