Ed 002 with martial agent saying martial would like to leave United just curious to know what teams are interested? And who is showing the most interest.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Lyon would be open to a loan initially but asking price will be a major issue. MU may look to using Anthony Martial as part of a deal for Christian Pulisic of Dortmund. Atletico enquired but have a different solution in mind for their needs.}

13 Jun 2018 22:21:03
Oh wow, wanted Pulisic for a while, would loveeee it if we got him from Dortmund, perfect for us on the right. On Martial, won't miss him despite being hugely talented, awful attitude is costing him.

That would b3 a nice trade ed. Pulisic will be good and plus he is american so will be good for the owners and club.

Cut the ties now I say. Pulisic could be a good shout ed, nice player who works hard.

How is martials attitude awful, just out of curiosity?

On pulisic why would he want to come to the club and have his young promising career stall or even go backwards. Much better for him to stay at dortmund and develop.

Bye bye Tony. Won’t miss him at all.

He sulked over a shirt number for a few months DSG, cries when he's hold to track back, looks like he couldn't give a s**t when he loses the ball, and when told to fight for his place when Sanchez came in January he just gave up.

Agree12 Disagree16

If he wants to go then there is only one outcome for him.
No player bigger then the club.
Get in a player that wants to play for play Manchester United.

I will be sad to see him go. Massively talented but terrible hunger or drive to succeed. If he had rashford or lingard’s desire and hunger then he would be the most devastating player. He may go on to be world class. But when they going gets tough and he isn’t a guaranteed starter, then I assume he will go back to sulking. Buy back clause is needed. A loan would have been better for us.

On Pulisic, I would be pleased with that signing think he is a very good player. But bale seems to be the one we are after. Interesting to see what happens.

Would be sad to see a talent go, but there is no future in holding on to any player who doesn't want to be here.

If he doesn't want to play for the club then get him out the door asap. He might have all the talent in the world but he will never realise that talent if he doesn't want to be here.
I don't see a host of clubs liking up to sign him. Dortmunt would be a great move for him. They are a selling club so if he does realize his potential they will flip him on for a profit within 2 years.

Reading between the lines of martials agent it seems clear to me, martial wants reasuurences he is in Joses plans, seeing Jose wouldn't and shouldn't give guarantees to any player, they are angling for a large contract which would at least indicate he is going to be a first team regular not a bit part player like the end of the season.

The fact martials agent has made public comments to me would suggest martial wants to stay, so they are trying to force the issue, if he didn't want to stay why would the agent make public comments? He would just be trying to find martial a new club, making public comments wouldn't help in getting a new club, it's not like putting an add in the messenger, there's only very few clubs who could afford martial and I would assume very few clubs martial would want to go to.

Just my thoughts.

I agree, the statement on the BBC says he wants to be at the club, but negotiations have stalled, probably due to concerns over game time. This quote says it all for me:

"Everyone will have their opinion but I think he needs to resume his career. The time has come. "

He has to resume his career, not sit on a bench watching Sanchez lose one ball after another.

It says he is happy with the club, but he is unhappy with the manager and his limited game time in spite of his good goalscoring/ creating record.

So it's not the club he doesn't want to play for but the manager.

The manager picks the team so if he doesn't want to play for the manager then its off he goes.

Are you making things up again shappy to suit yourself😂 i don't see anywhere where he referred to his 'good goalscoring or assist record'.

“Anthony is disappointed because he has shown his love for the club and the supporters for three seasons he has done his best for three years and it is important to remember that he scored 11 goals and made 10 assists"
Part of the statement from martial agent that shaps was probably referring to .

If you read the whole thing it sounds to me " pay my client more he deserves more game time " that's an agent's job.

Agree6 Disagree2

14 Jun 2018 16:32:06
The agent has nothing to do with playing time. I know what I'd tell his agent, put mire effort in to the time you get on the pitch whoever the player is, if I'm the manager I tell the players make me pick you, show me why I should start you every week, and agent pi$$ off.

I m not a tactician but we have almost no option on right. initially we were looking at Sanchez before he joined Barcelona for right side only to find replacements for Ronaldo. So before January window, Martial was performing just required if not brilliant. so without any major issue displacing him from left was a blow to him. Sanchez could do well on right. But what happened is Martial, rash, Lingard pushed to right to do job.

So I guess that showed Jose's confidence in lad was not proper.
If I were Jose I would have kept Martial on left and Sanchez on right with Lukaku and see how that goes up.

One of the red
On the money pal I was amazed Jose put Sanchez on the left .
Time will tell if it's the right decision.

Apparently mino raiola offered Verratti to United any truth in this?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - It is not like that but if Manchester United can move Pogba on he would clearly be of interest as JM wanted him at Chelsea. The player would need persuading has he has shown no interest in moving to England and has always wanted to join Juventus. Right now other options are still being considered.}

13 Jun 2018 20:22:26
Oh does this mean UTD are actively trying to move Pogba on? The boy really needs to pull his socks up.

{Ed002's Note - Pogba has been offered to a couple of sides.}

Thanks for the info ed. Have united offered pogba to a couple of sides or has he/ Raiola done so?

Agree0 Disagree1

14 Jun 2018 08:54:14
Hi ed002. Are there any clubs showing interest in pogba.
I would imagine the financials are huge and it would represent a huge cost to united to sell him on now. I can't imagine a lot of clubs can afford the deal unless he takes a significant drop in his demands.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - No I don't think so. He has been offered to the other sides who showed an interest previously but neither see the value in him.}

14 Jun 2018 10:44:42
Thanks loads Ed, love reading your detailed updates!

Would love to know what JM / boards thinking is of the potential manoeuvres might be in midfield: reading Ed002’s previous comments about people at OT realising that Pogba is better suited to Spain/ Italy, that he’s been offered to other clubs; plus Fellaini going and the possible stand off with SMS’s massive price, wonder if selling PP and replacing him with MV or SMS would really happen!
