Mourinho continually saying he's happy with the teams efforts? This is self preservation imo, as in reality, effort is what a manager can extract from a player and quality is either there or it's not. so Jose is basically saying that attitude ( the thing he can influence most) is fine but the quality ( something he can not do much about) Is missing. or am I being to cynical of his comments?

What a load of tat. I am being polite.
Can anyone tell me why it should be toxic to say this as an honest opinion and just want the nightmare to end.
I would challenge the super optimists who often post on here to explain with sensible, reasoned logic why I should be encouraged by this progress in a backward direction.
We are more likely to find ourselves fighting a relegation battle than challenging at the top.
I have thought that we might just about challenge for top six. I now think that a few more weeks and even that will become a pipe dream.
I am now convinced Jose has to go. He is more toxic than any of us. However even that will achieve nothing without a clear out who continue to oversee this fiasco.
The owners are the only ones who can sort this but they are doing very nicely, thank you.

Waiting for GDS2 to come tell us everything’s ok because we strung two wins together against two bang average sides a few weeks back. I’ve seen this coming for a long time amoungst a few others. Hence my 6th prediction in ajh comp. I think that’s unrealistic right now tbh.
