Would be a shame as would have like to have seen him get more minutes. Especially with Valencia out and Dalot an unknown quantity. Hope this doesn’t mean darmian won’t be moved on. Guess we will have to wait and see how this pans out.

Surely means a Darmian is staying now. The Italian international could be a revelation in a 3-5-2, or indeed at right back used properly.

Tfm will benefit from that i hope he plays in his more natural position. Periera looks a better player following n his ex perience should have sent martial on loan last season we could have got back a much more rounded player.

Darmian will go to Italy so there is still plenty of time to shift him out as the deadline only changed in the prem.
We may use him the first couple of games whilst we wait on Valencia and Dalot and then sell him.

If a LB is signed, then we may even see Young shifted to the right with Shaw and the new LB on the left. Final few days may be exciting and nerve wrecking. Checking the sites every 15-20 mins.

We have Valencia and Dalot, Jones, Bailly, Lindelof, new signing, Shaw and Young, enough to cover any formation without Darmian. Presuming Smalling and Rojo leave that is aswell.

Personally I’d keep Smalling and sell rojo and add Toby. Job done at centre half.
Still think we need a real left back more than a right forward if we are to make another purchase.
If Pogba leaves we will most definitely need to replace him too.
