A very disappointing performance. We have too many players who do not have the quality or indeed the character to play for Manchester United. Players such as Herrera, Lingard, Jones and Young are frankly not good enough.

The game tonight has been farcical at best. i'm not sure what the answers are or if there is infact an answer to this drivel. the 60th minute plan B fellani substition isn't the answer in my opinion.

It is difficult to judge players at Man. Utd. these days, I see todays criticism of Sanchez, and I agree he is a shadow of the player from Arsenal.
But, I feel almost any top player would look worse with us. Good players need good movement from team mates, not just one player moving but a few. Some making runs for the pass and others just to take defenders away.
I watch us, and compared to almost every other team, we have less runners and less movement. If this is the managers fault, by tactics, or if its just lazy players, i'm not sure, but until it changes we will be no better than also rans.

{Ed002's Note - If you want good movements from all of the players it is prunes they should be serving in the canteen.}

Decent performance. Team look fitter, especially Matic who seems to have lost a lot of weight? Also with Shaw/ rash/ martial and Fred in the team we have genuine pace. Not incredible, but encouraging.

Probably get loads of disagrees but I loved that performance yesterday thought we were fabulous 1st half and then a different game in the 2nd scrappy and niggly and tough .
The players rolled their sleeves up and got stuck in lukaku summed up the team ethic yesterday as did fellaini.

Matic taking one for the team too were beginning to look like a club again 😃.

Yet again our LB and RB failing to put in decent fast crosses is effecting our attack. Can't wait to see Dalot in at RB and Shaw in LB, it will really improve our play. On a separate note Fellani was very good again in the defensive role, hope to see Peirera get game time now Matic is suspended.

So now the dust has settled what did we ugh the display was controlled and much more energetic, exactly what we need at away grounds.

Lukaku could and should have had at least a hat trick, 2 poachers goals but he doesn’t look fully sharp yet so God help the rest when he does. Shaw has been a revelation, I don’t care whether it was Jose or not that has got his head right but he has to go first choice and given a long run now.

Up front we were energetic with some good ideas, some nice moves that showed invention we hadn’t seen yet. Sanchez continues to frustrate. It looks like he is ready to break free, great cross for the first goal. Lingers also looks slightly off the pace at the moment but still contributed.

At the back we were pretty solid, probably helped by both Matic and Fellaini playing but on another day we would have run out 4-0 winners.

As for Rashford, he looked lively but was very silly to lean his head in, Bardsley may have once been one of ours but he is limited and a bit of a thug. Quite surprised he was only booked for the initial kick.

Great to see us control a game and run out comfortable winners, it may have ‘only been Burnley’ but that didn’t help us when it ‘was only Brighton’. I think we have several more gears to go up so fingers crossed.

Sadly, have to mention Pogba, anyone can miss a penalty but I thought he contributed less than most, he needs to get his head out of his arse and get on with it.

As for Jose, it may be a marriage of convenience but if we do start to win a few games I think his tail will be up and his mojo restored. We shall see.

Didn't see the game yesterday, as much as I tried I couldn't find a pub that could find a stream for it, typical as it looked like a controlled performance and a good win where we played well. Those goals will give RedRom the confidence he needs going forward and the team aswell. Rashford sending off, was it deserved? Did Alexis go of in a huff? Anyway well done lads and Jose on the win, onward and upward.

Hi Welsh,

We played really well, Lukaku could and probably should have had 4 or 5 but he absolutely bullied Mee all day, very good to see, and the fact we are creating so many chances at the moment is great.

I thought we were just as good in the first half (and some of the 2nd) against Spurs so hopefully we have turned a bit of a corner, defending well whilst also having that attacking instinct and going forward in numbers with the full backs bombing forward is the dream so hopefully we get on a bit of run and who knows what will happen.

Rashford was naive and had to go off, Bardsley instigated the incident and then did exactly what Rashford got sent off for so should have gone as well, but at the game it was right in front of us and I thought Moss got it spot on with a red and a yellow.

Alexis just looked annoyed at his 2nd half performance, he played well in the 1st half setting up the goal with a world class cross and some of his runs in the 2nd half were brilliant but not seen by the player with the ball, I think he was frustrated. Didn't seem to be a huff though from what I could see.

Luke Shaw looks like a new player with him and dalot both bombing down the line could transform our team this where we are lacking no width and hfully their the answer I never want to see Ashley young starting another game.

I would play Pereira tomorrow, don't think there is any chance of Jose not playing matic but I wouldn't be that surprised if he left Fred out.
