Rubbish final.

Awful performance.
Sanchez= worst signing of the season.

I can't stand watching this terrible team I loved so much.

Pleeeeeeease let's play with some fire next year.

Now just three more games at the World Cup to endure and we can look to new season.

How predictable, Jones jumping in when he should have stayed on his feet. He had got between hazard and the goal. Only surprise is he did not hurt himself.

Surely last nights' performance and those previous to that are a examples of the biggest issue mr. mourinho has had all season-no leader on the pitch he can rely on AND TRUST, at chelsea he had terry, chech, lampard, drogba, ivanovic, makelele and others, here there is no-one, i'm sure he thought pogba would step up to the plate, but the only steps he seems to do are the dancing kind on another of his social media daliances, not one united player seems to want to take RESPONSIBILITY and be a leader, so you can say that's for jose to sort out, but if its not in a players' nature, then your stuffed really, this summer if jose does not address this by buying at least 1 if not 2 natural leaders then the expression 'donald ducked' springs to mind, i'm certain jose knows this and will take care of it, if not, whatever happens will definitely be his fault and NO-ONE elses' to blame, and just a final point, if mr. woodward fails to do his bit he's just as culpable, and should get binned as well, apart from that-happy bank holidays pilgrims!

I've watched some awfully turgid performances of late with shocking defeats against WBA and Brighton. A last minute goal against Arsenal glossed over another insipid display.

In terms of points obtained it's been a pretty good season and under normal circumstances enough to suggest a serious title challenge. 2nd in the league ahead of L'pool, Spurs and Chelsea with even an FA Cup final to look forward to so why does it feel so embarrassingly bad?

Away defeats against the three promoted Clubs stinks! Out fought and out worked on each occasion.

I like Mourinho, I desperately wanted him at the Club, but I fear he's taken us as far as he can.

I honestly don't know where we go from here. Results in general remain good but where is the intensity, desire, drive and urgency in our play? Where's the momentum going into next season? Embarking on his third year in charge there are still more questions than answers.

For what it's worth I'm not sure it matters who we sign in the summer. I think we can expect more of the same next year. What type of team is he building? What is our style of play?
I think we'll get a similar number of points, probably do well in the cups and in terms of bringing stability to the Club and keeping us in the top 4 an argument can be made that he's doing a decent job.

I'm trying to remain objective, positive, placing my faith and trust in a manager with an impeccable pedigree but maybe the brutal truth is that whilst Mourinho wins football matches he doesn't bring joy.

In years gone by he'd probably have brought us the title but these are different times. It's all too slow, too safe, lacking intensity and urgency.

There is a lack of flair and arrogance in our play and even when we win it's usually a toil.

Since Fergi retired the Club has lacked direction and identity. It's forgotten the principal's and ideology that brought us success from the Busby Babes to the Class of 92.

This is a Club that came back from the brink of annihilation to concur Europe. Our football in recent years has lacked courage, bravery, energy, youthful exuberance and enthusiasm. It's time to undo the shackles, release the burden of fear, be brave and play, we all want to believe again.

I stopped watching at about 85 minutes. By that stage I didn't care whether we scored or not. If we had, it would have given me no pleasure whatsoever. My overall feeling was why on earth should I waste any more time or emotion watching spoilt young men who are paid more in one year than the vast majority earn in a lifetime, go through the motions of playing football with no passion, skill or effort whatsoever. Absolutely disgraceful performance.

People will be blaming Mourinho for his poor man management, and in truth there have been some striking similarities between United much of this year and Chelsea in the season leading up to his dismissal. Maybe we have just reached a stage in the game where these overpaid embarrassments and egotistical prima donnas need a different type of motivator. Be that as it may, Mourinho may not have the skills necessary to bring out the best of these players in games against lowly opposition, but I still think the blame remains primarily with the players. There is no excuse for that type of performance today or indeed any day. Never mind playing for the manager, they let the fans down, especially those who travelled down to the south coast, and quite frankly made laughing stocks of themselves.

well another horror show to another promoted team, maybe not the best time to reflect but out of the top 6 teams I think the other 5 teams fans have more to be optimistic about. City walked the league and will go and add a couple more top players that can understand and play football. Liverpool champions league final and in with a good shout to win it. Playing some great football and surely will attract better players in the summer and a new keeper. Spurs moving to a great new stadium and playing good football still need a couple of players in the summer. Arsenal have had an awful season but a new manager and a new style of play with new players at least there is something to be excited about for their fans. Chelsea like arsenal a poor season but they will get a decent new manager and be competing next year like they do every two years. Then there are us, playing some of the worse football the premier league has seen big Sams Bolton were easier on the eye. It doesn't seem to matter what our starting 11 is we get the same approach and refuse to let a football match break out. Look around our squad apart from DDG not one player is the best in his position in the league let alone Europe. Again apart from DDG we could sell anyone in that squad and it wouldn't be a massive loss. I don't understand how they can be comfortable with putting in so little effort in games and then look the fans in the eyes. maybe we will get 3 or 4 signings but how have they worked out for Jose so far only Matic and Lukaku look guaranteed of keeping their spots. Bailly not getting a look in, Zlatan gone, Mhiki gone, Pogba rumoured he could go and would anyone miss him. Lindaloff fringe player and sanchez probably made us worse since he joined. 4 windows and failed to address the full backs which is probably the most important position on a pitch now defensively and offensively we are stuck with two retired wingers. i just don't see how we can have a summer where our whole ethos of football is changed, so we will be back to sitting back playing for draws against anyone in the top half of the table again. Jose will soon have to realise that winning second string trophies may bump up his CV but that won't be accepted by the fans for much longer, he is only getting away with this because of the shambles that preceded him under Moyes and LVG.

what a disgraceful performance. Every time we think we can't put in a worse performance we set ourselves a new low. Only De Gea can come away with his head held high. Perhaps some here are correct that jose has over achieved with this squad. We move the ball at a snail's pace with no creativity or desire. There comes a point where the blame lies at the players' door. Here is a perfect reason why Jose has played Lukaku as his no.1 striker. We looked toothless without him and neither martial or rashford are ready to lead the line at the club like manchester united. I hope we never see fellaini in a united shirt again. He has the cheek to make those comments a few days earlier and then puts in a performance like that? make sure the door doesn't hit you on the way out because you are not good enough to be playing for us. I thought shaw looked decent when he came on and for the life of me i cannot understand why we persist with young. He is not a left back and knockaert and isquierdo were top class today. Proper wing play that we do not have. Hats off to brighton and chris hughton i was so impressed with them. What a great performance and chuffed they have stayed up. I don't really know what else to say apart from the fact i think jose knows we are not good enough and he knows where we need to strengthen. I just want to win the cup and for the season to end because it has been a horrible season. It has got to the point where I am expecting these passionless performances against the lower sides. it is unacceptable and we will not win the league if we cannot put these sides away. I hope you all enjoy the bank holiday weekend.
