Ed always says don't get into the money as we don't understand finances. But I read somewhere that we break even if we sell ADM for £48m. Something to do with the add ons and the money we have upfront etc. If someone has good knowledge then maybe they can clarify.

2.) 25 Jul 2015 21:56:54
Not sure about the add on etc, but because he has asked to leave he won't get his 15mil bonus that was in his contract if he so out his contract or we sold him and he hadn't asked to leave. So i quess they would look at that.

3.) 26 Jul 2015 08:14:17
ADM was signed for 60m (roughly 57.7m?) over 5 year contract. Played for a season so 4 seasons remaining. 60m/5season = 12m a season. 12m x 4 remaining seasons = 48m.

Don't see why everyone gets so obsessed with the money though.

4.) 26 Jul 2015 09:30:17
Monkeyballs by your logic we should have sold Ronaldo for £2m.

5.) 26 Jul 2015 10:09:44
sailor, that wasnt my valuation of ADM, I was just explaining to you how this value of 48m had come about and how it was apparently supposed to mean we break even. But you somehow twist this into me saying Ronaldo is worth 2m.

I see why Ed002 buggered off and doesn't do MONEY matters. sigh.

6.) 26 Jul 2015 11:42:33
Sailor, £48m isn't a valuation, it is the point where we break even if he is sold this summer. After his season we aren't going to make money on him are we? Ronaldo was on another planet to Di Maria, we weren't just hoping to break even.

7.) 26 Jul 2015 12:21:30
Monkey, I understood your point , my comment was just meant to be a joke. Sorry about that. Media writes anything.
What I wanted to know is if anyone had idea about how much did ADM actually cost. Do we have to pay Real 58m even if we sell him? I'm assuming there would be some add ons etc in that money.

Hi eds, reading a few articles regarding West ham being linked with Rafael plus another club in Southampton can you shed any light as would be ideal to use him in the schniderlin deal.
Cheers

Believable United news

{Ed004's Note - I don't know of any interest in Rafael}

2.) 26 Jul 2015 12:33:18
And yet many whinged that he was 3rd choice and had never heard of him. Funny eh?

Hi ed's can you shed any light on what we will be doing with nick powell?

Believable United news

{Ed007's Note - I'd imagine he will be loaned out again or sold/freed, I don't see him having any future at Utd now.}

Hey Ed. Where does will keane stand with regards to getting a look at first team football?

Believable United news

{Ed004's Note - He might get appearances on the tour but he won't be getting anywhere near the first team any time soon IMO}

1.) 07 Jul 2015 23:35:08
From what I've heard from my Wednesday mates, he wasn't anything special.

04 Jul 2015 16:06:12
Hey guys a lot of talk about ramos, a few about Otamendi but anyone clarify the hummels news. Did we want him? Any bids make?
Last I heard from his camp was that he felt we was showing enough interest.

Would love to know what gaal is thinking. What does he want?

Believable United news

{Ed001's Note - I think he believes Januzaj might just turn out to be a better option right now than spending the money on Pedro.}

Do we have room for gotze I assumed depay and mata would be the option behind the striker. A winger is required I like young but feel abit more quality is required now Di Maria has gone. Obviously pedro is the name and he would have had the beating of Walker.
Otamendi who knows. Been drawn out for sometime but would obviously be welcomed.

Well schnerderlin was outstanding last season. Add that to Carrick who is quality whoever he is up against I to see a better pairing than matic and fab. And coqulein and Ramsey/cazorla.
Schnerderlin deal along with darmian is our best business so far

Agreed. Only reason we failed to see angel was due to form and maybe how he was in training. We had to start Di Maria and continue with him. Expensive signing but once started affecting the team mata and young had to play. It's ashame, if we got the usual Di Maria he would have been class but can't keep him if he doesn't want to stay, they say a direct replacement will be arriving so we'll see. A little worried as de Gea maybe off. I assumed we really would have had this CB by now just as we needed to strengthen centre mid.
