Just wondering if you know if we have any interest at all in Seamus Coleman at Everton - he looks like a great full back in the Denis Irwin mould and can also play on the right side of Midfield. Being Irish I've been watching him for quite some time and the recent critical acclaim is no surprise. He plays like a Manchester united player. {Ed002's Note - Not that I am aware.}

1.) He's older and less talented than Rafael.

We have the best young right back in tie league who is maturing into one of tie best right backs in the league. Why would we want to sign an inferior player?

3.) Cover!

4.) If rafael wasnt here yes I would but rafael is slightly better

5.) I agree with Clondalkin!

Coleman is very good and would be excellent cover for RB and RM. I agree we have potentially the best right back in the world, but if he was to get injured then what?
Coleman is very similar to Irwin and if needs be I reckon could be converted to left back as he strikes me as very dedicated and professional player.

I would think it is WAY too early to consider letting Rooney go. I think he'll play central mid for years to come - It's simple when Wayne Ronney plays well - so do Manchester United. Yes I'd love Ronaldo back but not at Rooney's expense. Anyway I suspect if Ronaldo is considering a return, after his wage concerns are dealt with, he'll be happier if Rooney is still here.

Wayne was out of sorts and out of form, same as Valencia - the dropping was merited - selling either or both would be insane.

James McCarthy is the best young prospect in midfield in the Premiership - and has steadily improved since his start at Hamilton Academicals. Not saying we still shouldn't be bringing in a big name but this guy would be a fabulous signing.

Since 1969

Because It's a family tradition and my father, God rest him used to bring me over regularly from Dublin by boat and train, ( not easy for a 7 year old but well worth it!)

My 13 and 11 year old are maintaining the tradition.

United Till I die!
