Was speaking to a client in work who's pub landlords daughter is Danny Rose partner. (Bare with me)

Apparently she told him that he will end up in Manchester (Didn't say which side)

I know this has been mentioned on sky sports but this is the first I've spoken to him in a while.

Make of it what you will but I for one would take him without hesitation.

1.) 11 Aug 2017 08:26:37
Think it's pretty obvious he's leaving now.

I hope it's to United cause something tells me City aren't going to splash the cash on yet another full back.

2.) 11 Aug 2017 08:32:54
Super rumour, really hope its true.

3.) 11 Aug 2017 09:23:29
Those are the best kind of rumours.

4.) 11 Aug 2017 10:26:11
He'd be a top signing for us, or for anyone for that matter wherever he goes but not sure City need Mendy and Rose.

Rose and Walker are best mates though apparently and so wonder if he will sway it for the blue noses.

5.) 11 Aug 2017 10:36:22
He did everything but put in a transfer request. I cannot see Spurs hanging onto him. And to be honest, I'm not sure I want a player who has complete disregard for his manager and club at United. Who's to say he doesn't do the same if he came here.

6.) 11 Aug 2017 10:36:49
Surely can't go to city with the full backs they've bought. Might give Shaw a kick up the arse if he's got some serious competition. Or get his sold next year. ha.

7.) 11 Aug 2017 11:38:34
We have had club 'legends' do similar things Angel. Hope we sign him because he is miles better than anyone we have in that position.

8.) 11 Aug 2017 12:03:46
If my maths serves me right he's played 21 fewer matches than the forever injured Gareth Bale over the past three seasons. He'd be an excellent friend for Luke Shaw in the crutch crew.

9.) 11 Aug 2017 12:05:45
Sorry ken, top of my head I can't remember exactly who went out of their way to do it the way Danny Rose did the other day. I think you might be alluding to Rooney for sure, but ever since he did that I wanted shot of him because of his lack of unprofessionalism.

I found it very remarkable what he did. I'm not sure jose would be too fond of that.

10.) 11 Aug 2017 12:27:27
Right player handling this situation in the wrong manner.

11.) 11 Aug 2017 13:30:55
Don't believe any of the rose news or even if we are interested. he has been out for a long time and can't see any sane person paying a ton of money for a player who is yet to play a game after a major injury and the unknown factor if he is even going to be able to perform at the previous level and on top of that also having to deal Levy who is as difficult as they get. Common sense says all bs and papers trying to sell papers.

12.) 11 Aug 2017 13:37:09
We all had a little chuckle at the kyle walker fee imagine how much rose will cost! Probably more than walker if it's us involved .

13.) 11 Aug 2017 16:19:20
"a client in work who's pub landlords daughter is Danny Rose partner"

Love it Rambo! πŸ˜€.

14.) 11 Aug 2017 21:18:56
Wazza I love these rumours myself and was laughing at how far fetched it sounded as I was writing it πŸ˜‚

Hopefully he's rightπŸ‘.

06 Aug 2015 23:00:51
Just had an update regarding transfers from a friend of mine who works as a sports journalist in Spain. APPARENTLY.

Sergio Ramos has rejected a new contract offer from Madrid. He will only be allowed to join United on 2 conditions:

1) if he asks to leave the club publicly so that the current president isn't faced with uproar by the Madrid fans for letting him go

2) United pay around the 43 million mark and accept the 23 million on the table for DDG

This is the first piece of football related information he has given to me since moving to Spain so I am not sure how reliable it is. Thought I would pass on the word as this is a rumour site after all.

1.) 06 Aug 2015 23:29:59
I've heard that Ramos has rejected the contract offer. Supposedly offer around 5.3m p/y and wants nearer 7. In one of the major papers but can't say if it's reliable

{Ed004's Note - In all honesty I think I would offer De Gea and 20 million right now. Our net spend (after Evans is gone and possibly Hernandez) will be close to nothing and there is still time to sign a keeper like Lloris for 20/25 million. If those signings were made we would have possibly the best defence and midfield in the premiership for not that big a spend. However I still expect him to sign a new contract}

2.) 07 Aug 2015 00:12:24
Best midfield in the league I don't think so Ed think that's just biasty now. Fabregas and Matic are streets ahead

{Ed004's Note - I can understand your point but didn't we dominate possession in Stamford Bridge at the end of the season when we had started to click and play as a team? I have high hopes for our midfield but there are arguments for Arsenals and Chelsea's as well}

3.) 07 Aug 2015 07:40:47
Well schnerderlin was outstanding last season. Add that to Carrick who is quality whoever he is up against I to see a better pairing than matic and fab. And coqulein and Ramsey/cazorla.
Schnerderlin deal along with darmian is our best business so far

4.) 07 Aug 2015 07:58:01
I agree Ed, I'd be happy to start a few games with Romero as long as we could get in Lloris and I think Cilessen has potential if he bulks up a bit. Would be a great team esp with another top striker/pedro in

5.) 07 Aug 2015 08:02:18
Schneiderlin Schweinsteiger Carrick Hererra Mata > Matic Fabregas Ramirez Obi Mikel Oscar.

Matic & Fabregas streets ahead? Silly comment.

6.) 07 Aug 2015 09:04:25
Agreed ed 004 I'd definitely pay 43 million for ramos! He is the only player we need that could be vital in winning a trophy next year

7.) 07 Aug 2015 09:12:56
is oascar willian and hazard not part of the midfield.

arsenal midfield is also very strong

8.) 07 Aug 2015 09:48:41
Schwensteiger is finished and injury prone, Carrick is a crock, and Schneiderlin will simply be a flop and very overrated but you have a great midfield, good to see the comedy geniuses are out.

9.) 07 Aug 2015 11:00:34
@MIGHTY REDS one word - HENDERSON ! see you bye

10.) 07 Aug 2015 11:03:04
Lol @ jred

Well said.

11.) 07 Aug 2015 11:23:36
Yes Mighty Red!! can't wait to see Milner and Henderson destroy Basti/Carrick/Schneiderlin.

12.) 07 Aug 2015 13:20:45
lol lloris. I don't think so!!!

13.) 07 Aug 2015 13:20:45
lol lloris. I don't think so!!!

14.) 07 Aug 2015 14:19:49
For me those players aren't, in the same way mata, young delay, and januzaj aren't. I concur with 004 on this one I'm afraid. And yes our midfield is streets ahead of arsenal.

15.) 07 Aug 2015 17:59:10
Mighty plank is a bigger barrel of laughs than Big Al. At least Big Al has a working brain.

16.) 07 Aug 2015 02:21:50
Ed004, The best keeper in the world +20m for a 30 yr old defender who got torn apart by an average Dutch team in the world cup?

{Ed004's Note - So we are highlighting one game from a year ago? I'm sure if you pick out any player who has played for a decade or so at the highest level you will find a poor display. What about mentioning all the seasons were he was in the team of the year etc. It's either a swap or we get nothing for De Gea next season}

17.) 08 Aug 2015 10:55:15
I'd swap DDG for Ramos.

Have a good feeling about this coming week regarding transfers, here are my predictions:

I also think we'll sign someone who hasn't been mentioned in the press recently. Matuidi and possibly Bertrand?

1.) 30 Jul 2017 11:17:19
Dendoncker has been heavily linked last few days.

18 Jul 2017 22:36:58
Haven't posted in a while but still check the site regularly.

I'll keep it short. I think we should go all out for Veratti if there is even a chance he's available!

Think he would compliment Pogba and Anger well and at 24 we would have him for his best years.

1.) 18 Jul 2017 22:59:55
I can just see Herrera raging around this season he ups the temper of our play.

2.) 19 Jul 2017 06:26:08
Woke up this morning to the tabloids saying we are enquiring for Veratti . fantasy stuff but what a fantasy!

That is what you call a dream signing, veratti, pogba, herrera we could probably even win the boat race with those 3

I know the EDs have constantly said Veratti only wants Barcelona but still a nice dream - Veratti or Alexi sanchez would be what you call top level signings although neither will happen I guess . With Milan still saying its 48 mill for Persic now he has gone to China I would be tempted to say go all in for Sanchez although they are different players and Persic seems to be a Jose type player.

3.) 19 Jul 2017 07:00:57
I would argue that Sanchez is equally as much of a Jose type player. Tracks back, works for the team, scores goals and creates goals. I suspect Perisic has the edge in that he is more of a traditional winger but can't help but feel that signing Alexis would take the pressure off Lukaku by adding 15-20 goals and 10+ assists.

Verratti would be phenomenal but Kroos would be my preference. If De Gea is intent on leaving for Madrid (and there is no evidence to suggest that he is), getting Kroos as part of the deal would arguably give us the best starting midfield in the league, while retaining a safe pair of hands in Romero.

4.) 19 Jul 2017 08:23:49
Whether Veratti only wants Barcelona isn't the real issue. The issue is that PSGs owner flat out refused to sell him to Barcelona and seeing that has one of the richest men on earth, I doubt that United being able to offer more than Barcelona would change anything. I agree he'd be a perfect compliment to pogba and Herrera but it seems highly unlikely to me.

5.) 19 Jul 2017 08:54:26
Hey Rumple that's my Avatar πŸ˜†πŸ˜†.

6.) 19 Jul 2017 09:57:14
A midfield of pogba, ander and verratti would be all conquering imo.
My dream signing. Hasn't he just employed mino raiola as his agent?

17 Dec 2016 21:14:23
Great result and a few points from the game:

Great performance away from home, looked in control. Think Jose knew they would flood the middle of the park and told Pogba, Carrick and Ander keep their discipline (which they did to great effect) so fair play to the lads!

Rojo again has to be singled out for praise he was solid and didn't lose his head against a difficult Rondon who was clearly targeting our centre half pairing. I was thinking during the game that if Smalling had of been up against him it could have been a disaster waiting to happen as he tends to tangle himself up with opposition strikers so fair play to Jones and Rojo for not losing the rag.

The big man again was sensational but one worry is what happens if he has another goal drought for a few games. Who will pick up the mantle?

Jesse for me was excellent with his delivery for the assist but in the same breath can be so frustrating when he attempts the spectacular instead of keeping it simple!

I'm delighted overall with our last lot of performances and good to see the team playing with confidence. We can definitely make up some ground over the xmas period and hope we capitalize as I believe our rivals will drop points.

Thoughts lads?

14 Dec 2016 22:49:22
Great to see us grind out a result and get the win.

Big players win you games - Pogba and Zlatan showed that tonight. Many doubted what Zlat would bring to the table for us but I must say he looked tonight like he'd been playing tough away games in the Premier League for years!

Also for many who talk about his huge ego, have a look at him dropping back to midfield - using his experience to help the TEAM.

This result will do wonders for our confidence and sets us up nicely for our upcoming games and yes some decesions went for us and some against us tonight but about time we've had a turn in fortune.

Things are looking up and I firmly believe that we will reach a point this season where we fear no team and genuinely believe we can beat anyone home or away!

Great to see the boss congratulate the players and deflect the spotlight of Rojo etc.

Bring on West Brom

1.) 15 Dec 2016 08:33:52
Another good post rambo 😊.

13 Dec 2016 12:00:28
Was at the game on sunday and have a few points to make:

Marcos Rojo - Outstanding performance bossed the backline, won everything and was vocal throughout. At one point he was screaming at Pogba to pick up a man when spurs had a freekick. Fair play! Hopefully continues in this form and can prove a lot of people wrong (including me)

Ander Herrera - Next United captain for me. The boy never stops running, does a lot of the dirty work, loves a tackle and looks like he genuinely loves pulling on the shirt. Quality performance from the Spaniard!

Last 10 mins for me were key. we didn't look rocky or as nervous as previous games which was a huge plus. This team now vs LVGs team shows that we now have a set of Ba**s unlike when we were bullied by everyone and anyone at times under LVG.

I'm not forgetting the Chelsea or City games but I will stick my neck out and say that Jose won't let that happen again - I think now he knows we can't sit back and invite pressure onto us and must play high tempo attacking/ pressing game to get the best form this team.

Hopefully he has an idea of the players he can trust. Everyone has had a chance to show what they can do so no one can complain if they are not selected. Think we need 5 players to complete the squad with a few exits. CB, RB, CM, LW/ RW and FW

Good to see Jose getting the best out of some of the lads (like Fergie used to) Hopefully now we can put together A run of form and climb the table!

Soory for the long post and if some points have already been covered, was waiting for the hangover to fade before posting! ;)

1.) 13 Dec 2016 12:32:29
I agree with pretty much all of that.

We need a RB. Darmian and Tony V will not take us the top. Not certain JM trusts Shaw or Blind at left back yet either.

I'm not sure Bastian or Depay will feel they have had a fair crack at the wip. But JM can't please everyone, I'm very pleased with the way he is running things at the moment.

2.) 13 Dec 2016 12:46:29
well Ed002 has mentioned Fabinho and Nelson Semedo as potential right back options so we are looking at that position.

3.) 13 Dec 2016 12:57:07
Ed002 said to expect departures.
Depay is a likely departure
Morgan and Bastian are both likely to leave
There are question marks over blind and possibly fellaini
Darmian is also not sure of his place in the squad
I see some of them being sold in Jan

IMO rojo and Jones have possibly saved themselves.

Medium term Rooney ibra young and smalling will leave but not till the summer or season after

I would imagine much depends on who they can bring in this Jan and that will determine who is sold to an extent.

4.) 13 Dec 2016 13:21:03
bastion morgan and depay can't really get a game so look surplus .
dont see any others leaving.

5.) 13 Dec 2016 14:16:10
I absolutely love Ander Herrera. That boy is a throwback of footballers of times past. He gives everything in his body for the badge on his chest; how can one not admire that?

6.) 13 Dec 2016 17:03:03
Great post rambo pretty much agree with everything.

7.) 13 Dec 2016 17:09:14
Top post that, mate; and agree with every word.

8.) 13 Dec 2016 16:14:17
Jred, same 3 for me

Rambo, I too have noticed Herrera's leadership skills combined with work ethic. Think he'd make a great captain or vice in the future.

Fresh I think you are right in that Jose wants to strengthen the spine of our team. I honestly think he will want the majority of our business conpleted ASAP which will be a welcome change to what we have been used to when we spend whole summers chasing big names who only want a new contract.

I don't know who we are after but I seriously doubt that Pogba will be here next year as the media are reporting but do belive he will want to bring that steel back to the midfield, personally I would go for Veratti I think he would be more atainable at the right price. As for Varane he is no doubt a smashing player but I think Jose will go for Premier League experience.

Could bring in Stones at a ridiculous price and could see Everton cashing in and Koeman going for someone like Fonte who he knows well and will cost a fraction of what they receive for stones.

Haha Mighty behave yourself. Not even joking when I say Schweinsteiger bossed the midfield when your lot came to old trafford last season. So what does that say about the clowns you boys have in the middle of the park?

What I mean is if he has to undergo the surgery and he is out - then give Wilson a run in the team, although I have a feeling there could be a striker potentially coming in.

Perhaps what will keep until the summer Syd?
