Hello All, after a long break from writing. but I was reading you all with great interest. Now it looks like Max Allergi will move on from Juventus, my feeling is that we might go all the way for him as initially he was planned at some point to take over from LVG, should he be allowed to finish his term. So I strongly feel this is a point where we might see him at helm. Ole has done a decent job since December. but I guess club might want to stick to their original plan? Whatever happen, I wish we see our club back on top where we belong.

I guess this won’t happen.

Do you think with purchase of Malcom, will Barcelona make Dembele available and do you think United asked to loan Dembele has any legs to it?

One of the Red Devil

1.) 25 Jul 2018 16:41:40
Dembele open to be sold I think I read here somewhere but don’t think we’ve any interest.

2.) 25 Jul 2018 17:18:33
I think he is a player we should be looking at. Not many wingers around at the minute that have the X factor. Although, he doesn't strike me as somebody Jose would want, 10 years too young and a foot too small, oh and he seems to be a bit unpredictable and we can't be having that in creative positions.

If I were calling the shots, I'd go in with a £10m-£15m fee for season loan, pay his wages and have a buy option.

3.) 25 Jul 2018 17:48:57
Dont need a winger, Fellaini will do the job.

4.) 25 Jul 2018 21:30:41
Could be the answer to our left back issues 😭.

5.) 25 Jul 2018 22:40:52
Mort. that was most awesome thing I have seen.

23 Jul 2018 16:37:45
Injury to Valencia and then the response of Jose in press, pushing me to believe Sidebe rumours. it like he wanted to buy but board is not able to sort position out. Board think If Valancia can pass one more season at highest level like last they don't have to buy both LB and RB in same window.

Jose can be at fault for his style of play but I guess it's board who is failing for giving him desired players and mainly they definitely are our weak points.
I hope we sort out quickly and go for both LB and RB.

One of the Red Devil

1.) 23 Jul 2018 18:37:48
we will go after Sandro and push Young to RB.

2.) 23 Jul 2018 19:01:51
Think the only thing the board will be bothered about is looking or a new manager before Christmas. Looks like Jose has started to empty his Pram before season starts.
Transfer business this year has taken a back seat because of World Cup. Its just a little disappointing that we suppodsley the biggest club in the world because no one wants to sign whilst Jose is in charge, and before you all kick off, I mean top quality signings. Still a while to go in this window yet, so anything could happen . And who knows what goes on behind closed doors.

21 Jul 2018 15:04:01
With the performances of last year. gap from city and evolution to Liverpool, I think we had plenty of catching up to do this summer. But so far it look very quite, even out goings are not considerable against which we could expect new arrivals. God knows what they are planning. If we end window without a proper left back and right side attacker atleast we will surly face a repeat performances of last season.

One of the Red Devil

1.) 21 Jul 2018 18:09:52
We'll be lucky to finish top 4 if the current trajectory is maintained. We were fortunate last year with Chelsea being in turmoil, Arsene running his course and Liverpool having other priorities. Spurs will improve as well this year and I think Everton will come strong (I thought this last year tbh) .

We achieved 2nd, but we didn't look like the 2nd best team, you only get one year like that in my view.

2.) 21 Jul 2018 18:42:22
So excuses for everyone else but we couldn't possibly get any better?

3.) 21 Jul 2018 18:48:35
Agreed mumbles. The paranoia and self loathing his hard to stomach.

We finished second because everybody else was crap not because we deserved it. Total nonsense.

4.) 21 Jul 2018 21:01:07
Eric and Mumbles, literally spot on. Found it funny how they said every other team was poor and and that was the only reason we finished second. Hypocrisy and irony is literally amazing, criticising Jose for being negative yet all they do is moan constantly, our 'supporters' of the club👏🏻. They don't even bother listening to his conferences to see what he said exactly, just like to read the obviously biased headline to it and then run amok.

5.) 21 Jul 2018 22:58:07
The evolution of Liverpool? They came 4th last season. We are only made out to be much worse than we are due to our style. The window isn’t shut, if we finished with alderweiald, bale and Sandro it would be one of the best in previous years. Let’s not compare ourselves to other teams when our business isn’t done.

6.) 22 Jul 2018 05:46:45
Scholes_18_18, and still City won the title because of genious Pep not because other teams were poor.

Not defending Mou and Manutd but other teams being poor seems applicable only to Utd and Mou.

7.) 22 Jul 2018 09:39:55
Enjoy your posts beast, you know the game well but think you are talking rubbish there. It’s as if you enjoy being pessimistic sometimes. The table dosent lie and whether we played adventurous free flowing football all year or not that dosent matter we were the 2nd best team over 38 games. If you want to make excuses for other teams short comings for why they didn’t finish ahead then you carry on though.

8.) 22 Jul 2018 09:44:26
Yes Mumbles - did you not see the words "current trajectory", they will all be stronger. What was our excuse for last season BTW?

Of course we could buy in the areas we need to strengthen, Jose could realise he is managing Utd not Stoke and some of our high-profile players could live up to their hype - but at the moment they haven't happened, so the other clubs I mentioned look stronger than they were last year to me - which doesn't bode well as we were lucky to get 2nd in my opinion.

9.) 22 Jul 2018 09:55:54
Stretford - thanks but I disagree in part. (I appreciate I can be Dr. Doom at times) . However I do think out of all the teams challenging we are the ones with the most organic work to be done, the other clubs had better excuses or have strengthened more than we have (or look like they will) .

If we put our likely starting 11 down on paper against the other teams (bar Everton) we look weaker in key positions, then couple that with Jose bringing the same old grind to the table, it means we need a lot of new world class players to make up for it imo.

I'm worried that Jose didn't seem to learn much from his first season in charge as last year was very similar to the first year performance wise. We got 2nd but we were awful to watch most games, if we perform how we did last year (no evidence anything has changed yet), then we are in big trouble.

We need to see more activity, players brought in and settled ASAP, player surplus to requirements leaving ASAP - Manager seemed just the same in his recent presser as well, so no sign of a change in demeanor there either.

As a staunch Utd fan, I'm concerned that issues are not being addressed quickly enough or even being identified.

10.) 22 Jul 2018 10:34:57
Yes. evolution. The football they played last season was amazing. and current strengthening will only make them batter.

Have some sportsman spirit. If your enemy do well. be humble and accept that they did well.

Which position they finished doesn't mean anything when gap between them and us are smaller than gap between us and city.

11.) 22 Jul 2018 14:33:18
Hold on who have Liverpool bought? A guy who after getting bombed out of 2 big clubs was relegated with Stoke. An unknown kid who most hadn't heard of 18 months to 2 years ago. A keeper from a country hardly renowned for producing world class keepers. And a utility guy who no one else was interested in signing. Given what they've spent the pressure has to be on klopp and we've seen he can't handle pressure.

12.) 22 Jul 2018 14:44:17
And what have the rest done? City's brought another attacking player the didn't need. Chelseas signing another highly combustible Italian manager. Arsenal haven't exactly set the pulses racing but could be the danger team. Spurs haven't done anything. Yet were worse than all of them.

13.) 22 Jul 2018 14:50:29
Harsh Mort, apart from Shaqiri, the other signings are excellent, they have a team good enough to win the league, let's hope they go trophyless though lol.

14.) 22 Jul 2018 15:01:22
Maybe they do. But how some people are talking they've won it already. Three of those players are new to the league and have to settle. What if Allisson does a Taibi? What if its too much for Keita?

15.) 22 Jul 2018 15:25:13
Who's talking as if Liverpool have won it already?

Are you denying they the Champions League finalists have strengthened further? Each one of those outfield signings (even Shak) would have improved us. They also play the game the right way, fun to watch. Bringing in youth as well. They look better prepared than us thus far.

16.) 22 Jul 2018 16:05:00
WHAT youth have they brought through beast? Apart from TAA.

17.) 22 Jul 2018 18:06:16
Bringing in Youth I said mate, Gomez, Robertson (I suppose), TAA, Keita is young as well.

We are playing Valencia and Young as full backs as it currently stands.

How about the other 80% of my post is that to be disputed as well?

18.) 22 Jul 2018 18:31:20
In that case, Rashford, McTominay, Dalot, Martial don't count?

19.) 22 Jul 2018 18:46:54
this is what happens when there is no EPL football. i can't wait for the season to start ;)

20.) 22 Jul 2018 19:41:18
TAA is garbage. The rest they've bought.

21.) 22 Jul 2018 20:10:25
Why is youth assumed as being better? In 99% of cases it really isn’t.

22.) 23 Jul 2018 19:46:28
Scouser alert🤦🏻‍♂️.
Think beast speaks some sense. The richest club in the country should be out there dealing there way out of the mess. I know some of you will say you finished 2nd and we won nothing. You’d be right but You be kidding yourselves too. Chelsea gave up, Arsenal reached the end of there cycle we couldn’t defend a lead ( hence big money vvd an alisson) and spurs well they was spurs, season too long for them. Also Mort your daft if you think TAA is crap. Wet behind the ears yes not crap.

18 Jul 2018 19:32:08
On Jose's press conference
1) He said it's important that Sanchez get used to being with Martial and Mata. As we will start attacking with them. so neither Martial or Mata is leaving.

2) Pogba comment were to round round. it was appreciation but also tone of what he need to do to stop repeat of last season under him.

3) youth players get chance to train. He didn't say impress and grab opportunity.

So can't Judge what's different it's going to be from Last season.

Figure crossed for positives.

Eh? .

2.) 19 Jul 2018 10:15:55
Haha, I work in ELT and know a lot of teachers who give private English lessons if you're interested. ;)

3.) 19 Jul 2018 17:27:20
I'm not English. And this much is enough to convey my point i think.

4.) 19 Jul 2018 17:32:45
I'm assuming OOTRD's first language isn't English. Yet he's trying to talk with other United fans on a forum and you lads are ridiculing him. Hardly welcoming for new members is it boys? Give the lad a chance.

5.) 19 Jul 2018 19:28:07
Banter forum. Lighten up - life’s too serious.

6.) 19 Jul 2018 21:59:13
Very well said Wazza.
Eric - not sure that is banter mate, just ignorance.
Like it or not we support a global club now so let's focus on what people say rather than how they say it.
Even our own team captain can't speak English.

7.) 19 Jul 2018 22:57:19

8.) 20 Jul 2018 00:53:58
One Of The Red Devil, no need to apologise, mate. I think it was fairly obvious from your post that your first language isn't English. I'd like to see some of the posters on here from the UK try and post in such good English from time to time.

9.) 20 Jul 2018 07:02:25
Good one Rave. I’m not English either but suppose that makes me less enlightened than the progressive English. The world is a far too touchy place these days.

10.) 20 Jul 2018 07:11:24
Furthermore, perhaps the fact that our own team captain still can’t speak English highlights why he’s such an ineffective one.

11.) 20 Jul 2018 18:04:33
Neither am I Eric.
Also not looking for any argument. To be fair that Jurgen Meister was the biggest tool.
Agree Valencia being our captain and first/ only choice right back is quite as uninspiring as it gets.

12.) 20 Jul 2018 20:18:09
Agreed Rave. The biggest problem is the whole set up seems uninspiring at the moment from the top down. It just doesn’t look any fun to play for Man Utd anymore.

Borussia Dortmund has very much cleared their stance on sale of Sancho this summer from now only. I guess it's very good for us as it will save a lot of time in chasing a player who is not available or do not want to join. It had happened many times in past that we had wasted to much time chasing unattainable targets.

One of the Red Devil

1.) 06 Apr 2019 02:06:08
Every player in world football has a price regardless of any statements imo.

2.) 06 Apr 2019 13:45:58
Dortmund are a selling club. Wave enough money and they tend to take it. Question is is Sancho worth the price? Or will his value go further upwards? Would it be better to pay now or later?

3.) 06 Apr 2019 14:23:26
Dortmund have a history selling their best players to their biggest rivals Munich. The are a selling club always will be.

4.) 06 Apr 2019 18:38:50
Ronaldo wasn't for sale and Fergie said he wouldn't sell that mob a virus. look how that turned out.

06 Aug 2018 11:41:59
I saw 2 games. Peps city vs Jose's United. City started so brightly from where they left. nice football. positive. and
Then it was United. same dull football. attackers on their own. clear null from right. Although Pogba, Matic and Lukaku to return.

I see 2 area same as last season. all messed and under liability. right attack and Left back. All were sitting deep and still Bayern were managed to have shots. if it wasn't for DDG. we would see 3-4 goals conceded. All I can see is no improvement in tactics, mood and play style.

I wasn't rating pep. only counting him as Messi made manager. but given amount of money. to all other managers. he is doing great followed by Klopp.
Optimist still have 4 full days left of window. as they say.

One of the Red Devil

1.) 07 Aug 2018 15:44:44
You can add Young Lingard Fellaini and to an extent even valencia to your yet to return list.

02 Aug 2018 16:55:13
I have a bad habit that I can not remember posters name. so when something happens I fail badly to pin point someone for their comment.
Why I am saying this. I remember, a few masters of optimism always cut other posters when they complaint for lack of signings or activity by saying that "window hasn't open yet" " it's just 1 week into transfer market" " toxics" etc.
And then miserably they go underground in situations like this. When all knew that we need Lb, RB, Rw, Back up striker, CB and a Carrick replacement, what our. club did? Signed a CM ( he is good) and a kid who is unknown. and now dates are going 1 by one and window is about to close. We are dealing a mess like manager comments, Martial situation, Pogba stories etc.
So my advise to those optimist princes are like others just read rather being a god and write it's only this and that.

Still 7 days to go. these guys can say. but others also have full right to worry for a beloved club.
I hope club do necessary signings and Jose play positive (! ) . otherwise again it's long and boring season awaits. And with this tectics and moaning manager, we can't expect chellange.

One of the Red Devil

1.) 02 Aug 2018 17:45:21
Oh dear.

2.) 02 Aug 2018 17:51:06
One of the Red Devil, may I ask where you are from? You use very expressive language that possibly over dramatises the situation. I love your passion mate, but there’s plenty of time for things to happen

GDS, I think you may be an optimist Prince, or even a God, what do you have to say for yourself?

3.) 02 Aug 2018 18:23:59
Bip Bip Bip Bip 😆😆.

{Ed033's Note - The FA don't like optimist Princes?

4.) 02 Aug 2018 18:36:25
the mood of some we might as well sack the manager get relegated so a few can say i told you so.

5.) 02 Aug 2018 18:29:27
As boring as your post or more than that?

6.) 02 Aug 2018 18:53:01
I prefer Optimus Prime.

{Ed025's Note - then lets see if jose can transform united into a decent side mate..

7.) 02 Aug 2018 19:02:52
The guy's not from the UK. Give him a break. I forgot all the posters on here are so exciting and perfect.

8.) 02 Aug 2018 19:14:26
Sorry Stevie, I did ask nicely but things quickly deteriorated.

9.) 02 Aug 2018 20:09:44
Wasn't so much you, mate.

10.) 02 Aug 2018 22:17:26
As a God I believe I have to keep quiet and no positive posts are allowed on this page anymore. As we know, the window is now closed and we have no good players, we are doomed i tell you, doomed 🤦🏼‍♂️.

11.) 03 Aug 2018 07:01:13
The guy’s not from the UK so give him a break? Why? The post is pure hyperbole bordering on panic.

We have a pretty good side already and a good manager set up for a decent assault on the season. If we add one or two more this week, which is extremely likely, we will be even better!

12.) 03 Aug 2018 09:27:39
Eric, I was referring to his use of the English language, not the content of his post.

13.) 03 Aug 2018 09:52:13
noucamp how many have you done the same to nobody was offensive.

02 Aug 2018 03:14:57
I managed to tap a call.

Woodward to FA,
Woodward : Hello. this is commercial king woody here. is this FA?
Fa: yes.
Woodward : why you guys haven't told me personally that transfer window is shutting early on 9th Aug? I thought it's 31 and was trying to get club some more interest with deposited cash . I was going to sign players on 31st. What do I do now? I want extension.

FA : bip. bip. bip. bip.

01 Aug 2018 17:22:39
Today is an excellent show of what we are getting with Fred. A flair player who I hope get his chance to play game his way, rather Jose selected moves and area restrictions.
And with this I will give a wild shout that we should consider Isco for right side attack position. excellent touch, flair and technical ability makes him one of a kind. He will surely score and create a hot than our current option of Mata and Lingard.

One of the Red Devil

1.) 01 Aug 2018 17:35:20
Fred had an excellent game especially in first half. I would love isco at our club.

Who know. people who worry for extra expenses needed to replace him, need to think may be if Rabiot coming our way in free. in our wage budget? None of us know. But if Ole is taking this decision, then he must have calculated this. Now we can expect 2 new CM to come in.

If club is thinking to make Jose happy by selling Pogba and expect a positive football. than they are dreaming.
I will pray. it doesn't go through.

Surely, Once OGS gets his players rather makeshift players, our performance will be batter. I still have questions over his substitutions and favourism towards Rashford and Lingaard. Need to see after 1 window.

It was really a good game to watch. After first goal, we lifted tempo, showed a little courage and willingness to drive forward, with only lacking was proper last delivery and desire of attackers to give that little extra. Rashford was wasteful, I always have a question on his natural ability as a out and out striker. He should have been subbed of first instead of Lukaku, who was giving little difficult time to langlett. Young also gave away ball many times and his aweful crossing didn't do any good.
Overall tectics were spot on. so it's very positive to see what OGS would do after full transfer window. Once he gets his players, than we can sit on a sofa and speak (easiest thing to do) .

Pathetic game to watch. Alexis on his own. running like headless chicken. no services provided to him. Rashford#10 non existent. Mata. What's his top speed? Parreira clearly not comfortable. only players trying hard was Fred, Baily and Darmian. Lindelof will ask for double wage as he would have to cover Shaw everytime. and thus he was looking bad. not his fault. he was solid on his part.

Why we need Pogba here. He just can't seat there and protect back 4. so it's not Jose way. 4 players given protection by 3 CM and a world class GK. Darmian was solid. Baily was. so Lindelof. still manager don't trust them and allow CM to venture forward and play. pick some passes to attacker and help them. Jose must go.

The day he renewed Fellaini he went off my eyes. he has no football left.
Only he care for is total defenseman. and long all to any tall wigs.
