Can't believe Pogba came out with the dream of Madrid comment at this very important time of our season. If he wants out, just get rid but tell him to shut it until the end of the season. This will go on now until the end of the Summer window and probably include DeGea too.

Apparently Madrid interest has gone (per Ed002). But we have been told many times Pogba wants out.

2.) 20 Mar 2019 20:05:06
Real Madrid's interest moves elsewhere, so now Mino and Pogba react by batting their eyelashes to try and bring them back into the frame.
He doesn't want to be at the club, regardless of how good he is if a good offer comes in for him and he wants to go we should accept it and move on.

The sames goes for any player who doesn't want to be at the club, including DDG. If we are to challenge again we need players who want to be here, and will fight to be here.

Rio mentioned something the other day about United needing to sign players with the right DNA.

We need players with the right attitude as well as having the talent. If Pogba can do that then great, glad to have him. But if he can't have the right attitude and he wants to be elsewhere, then thanks for the last three years, wish you luck and off you go.

3.) 20 Mar 2019 20:26:32
I am not bothered if Pogba stays or not as I find him extremely frustrating to watch.

Brilliant and a world beater in one game and then doesn’t turn up for the next 3.

No doubt about his talent and ability just a question mark over his application and desire in some games.

I know Ronaldo is a different type of player but his desire is unquestionable and is what sets him apart from the rest imo. Whichever team he plays for he just raises the whole team as he demands it from himself and others.

Look at the fall of Real Madrid since he left. Yes not all down to him leaving but that has had an effect. Then he joins Juve and takes them up a notch. No way they would of turned around a 2-0 deficit in the first leg against Athletico 12 months ago.

Pogba needs to have a similar effect in the teams he plays for in order to be truly great and make all the circus and side shows worth it.

Put Roy Keane’s playing brain in Pogba and you would have the best CM player ever seen. Alas this is not the case.

If he wants out then let him go and take the money.
We can re-build and bring in young players that we can mould into the Utd way.

4.) 20 Mar 2019 20:49:22
international break. was expecting some stories.

5.) 20 Mar 2019 22:05:50
Why are people so upset, he said Real Madrid would be A (not THE, but A) dream team for any player. From a sporting point of view, that is true. But he also said he's happy at United and the present atmosphere. Just thing it's been blown out of context as usual.

6.) 21 Mar 2019 00:15:16
Shappy you hit the nail on the head, players should be grateful to he at the club.

7.) 21 Mar 2019 07:55:40
Ludwig
Nail on the head.

8.) 21 Mar 2019 17:04:48
Question
If it was Herrera that said RM is 'A' dream for any player would people be saying the same?
Absolutely not.

9.) 21 Mar 2019 17:21:42
Some may see it as a nice thing, i personally see it as flash. The rings that Pogba got for the French world cup winning squad are just bling. Sums up Pogba for me.

10.) 21 Mar 2019 22:01:27
That recent Zlatan comment on co92 regarding Utd makes perfect sense now, Riaola using his pawns to make moves.

From totally left field, but would Sir Alex be a good Director of Football for us, wonder was he ever asked or considered, worked with David Gill back when he was manager and has all the contacts in the game. SAF our new D. Gill and Ole our new Sir Alex!

1.) 23 Mar 2019 17:30:46
The guy just had a brain hemorrhage. We should probably just let him rest. As a football club we should be able to cope without his influence.

2.) 23 Mar 2019 18:06:12
We need to move on from his era and try find a new Gill and Fergie rqthen then going back to the old one.

3.) 23 Mar 2019 18:59:59
No. He is too old not to mention not in the best of health.
I do agree that three new Dof must uphold the club ethos and ethics. Maybe ole if he doesn't get the coaches job😂😂😂😂😂 he ciuld be poch's boss.

4.) 23 Mar 2019 19:06:27
Dont be like Liverpool by clinging onto the past.

5.) 23 Mar 2019 21:01:01
Live it Ken.

6.) 24 Mar 2019 13:58:59
It's obvious who it should be - Paddy Crerand.

17 Mar 2019 13:02:40
It's easy to say buy lots of new players but you have look at the big picture, we are restricted by FFP, we are paying too much wages already to certain players so until we get our wages right we are going to need to work with youth players.

1.) 17 Mar 2019 13:55:57
The players we have are the problem,
Our midfield last night who had a good game, none of them, look at pogba whenever he feels like it he does something about every 4 games not good enough, when we signed him I was looking forward to watching him now I'd cash in on him, martial the same thing when he feels like, last night he wouldn't track back if he's own life depended on it,
Sanchez a joke just like the contract he got, we don't have a decent rb, we have an average defence, average midfield, rash I like him but not consistent enough,
No quick fix here.
Ole has done a good job, but is doing a good job enough, then you hear he bought back the smiles, go work as a dentist, smiles are great but won't win you a league,
We need the best manager in Europe that's available. Then the best players, this is Manchester United.

2.) 17 Mar 2019 14:11:27
Leahy. We’ve tried with the best managers and players in Europe. It hasn’t worked. How can you not see that given the names we’ve signed and the money we’ve spent over the last 5 years?

We need to make our own, that’s our blueprint.

3.) 17 Mar 2019 14:34:15
That's what I'm getting at we need someone to make the right decisions,
Moyes didn't work, pogba didn't work, and I know the likes of Di Maria didn't work,
Ole who knows, but smiles won't work,
I think the dof will be an important move, the lingards, rash Ford, mctominay so on will we win the league or CL, no we wont.

4.) 17 Mar 2019 14:45:51
The biggest problem is Woodward. Hence no DoF. An overhauls needed and Ole could be the right man but we'll never get anywhere with Woodward and the Glazers.

5.) 17 Mar 2019 15:17:28
I think your right mort.

6.) 17 Mar 2019 16:06:41
I think Ole has more about him than just smiles. As an explayer he knows what players need. I think that's Jose's biggest failing.

Ole has done a good job in steadying the ship but now the real work begins. The squads tired, players coming back from injuries, its unbalanced, too many average players not contributing. It needs a lot of work.

Woodward out would be a start. New owners would be even better.

What a shocking performance, no one expected Wolves to be an easy game so l assume the manager and players were expecting a tough match. It was like a flash back to Jose's time, poor slow play Pogba gone missing, over and back passing, no penetration. We l said after the draw on Friday, we should concentrate on the league because one more performance like tonights and it's good bye to top four and champions league next year.

After getting Barcelona I'm not as expecting as others who have forgotten the first game against PSG. Barcelona will play the same fast passing, closing down game as PSG only better and then they have Messi too. We will not be underestimated by them and could be in for two very difficult and draining nights football with very important league games before and after. It really makes appreciate how good and fit we were back in the 90's competing in those competitions and winning most.

Redconl

1.) 16 Mar 2019 09:43:08
I don’t think anyone’s expecting it easy, or easier than PSG mate. It’s just a sign that our fans have a bit of optimism for the first time in years. Instead of going into games fearing getting beaten by a cricket score or thinking, “I’ll take a 0-0” we are giving it a go.

I can’t believe that after the spirt and fight shown away to Paris we are talking like Barcelona will put 7/ 8 past us. We should enjoy these games, as it’s been a while since we’ve been in them.

2.) 16 Mar 2019 09:57:27
Its written in the stars for Ollie to return to Camp Nou and for his team to desteoy a poor Barcelona team and send Messi to the MLS. i hope. 😆😆.

3.) 16 Mar 2019 10:30:49
Have you been on the phone to Jose again?! Take no notice he's just upset because he didn't get the Madrid job!

4.) 16 Mar 2019 14:19:30
Personally i think its an advantage for us to be at home first. They are not great easy and if we can take a lead to Spain then anything is possible.

10 Mar 2019 22:19:16
I too though we just failed to convert or make the final pass better, the peon was a shocking decision and really killed it. Thought Fred was very good today, amazing what a bit of confidence can do, think Fred, pogba and Herrera could be a very attacking more midfield option in the coming weeks. The emotions of mid week didn't help either, but we played well, created just weren't as lethal as recently. Still think we will make top four. Watching wolves today our FA cup game is going to be very tough too.

Redconl

1.) 10 Mar 2019 23:14:37
Fred definitely pushed the Chelsea player. No need to with Smalling covering.

2.) 11 Mar 2019 08:47:08
I thought Fred was average and that McTominay should never have been dropped.

3.) 11 Mar 2019 10:34:09
Fred was ok today. I thought Matic was the problem as he was too slow and off the pace. He didn’t close down Xhaka for the first goal and his distribution was poor.
Think if McTomminay had played then we would of closed Arsenal down better and probably had more possession.
We miss Herrera as well.
