Looks as though Giggs will be leaving us this summer to pursue managing somewhere else. I wish him the best of luck and i think it is the best for him as well. He needs to go test himself elsewhere. Good Luck Giggsy.

As long as he doesn't go to Everton and beat us in the league.
Both scenarios unlikely, so yes, thank you, farewell and good luck.

Rashford was apparently singled out by LVG at halftime and after the match, when he should have been yelling at the midfield who provided ZERO, i repeat ZERO service. the midfield was completely backwards with players playing out of position. More evidence to the fact that the midfield failed was when Young came on at halftime, he too had ZERO touches in the box for the entire second half. don't yell at the kids LVG when your insane tactics are the reason that our strikers can't even get the ball. you come out and shoulder the blame you coward, don't take it out on an 18 year and a 20 year old who, they themselves, have salvaged this disgrace of a campaign (De Gea as well) . pathetic.

Well said TAS, agree with everything you said.

I think the next few weeks will show his character in spades. He'll take no blame and throw as many people under the bus as possible. If this is the case, then the evidence points to him not being here next season.

3.) 12 Apr 2016 18:44:10
All I hope is that whatever happened in the dressing room doesn't cause Rashford to want to leave. The big stick treatment isn't the way forward; all it does is alienate players and the likes of our youngsters are the last people that should be alienated.

It's become more and more obvious to me that LVGs ego is immense. If he is so convinced about his own abilities, then it must be the team that isn't working (even after spending all those millions) . However, in all these results, good or bad, the common denominator is LVG. He should man up, accept HE'S not good enough, and fall on his sword and leave. I'd respect him somewhat if he did that, rather than dragging our team down and down every week.

His behavior has been getting more and more peculiar since that poor run of form over Christmas. The pressure is clearly getting to him and I expect it will only get worse until he leaves.

The board should just put him out of his misery and stick an interim manager in for the rest of the season.

He knows he is going. We know he is going. The only questions now are when and why (hasn't he gone yet) .

5.) 12 Apr 2016 19:17:14
Rashford may be inexperienced but I'm sure he's not stupid and gets good advice. Regardless of any so called spat, I know which of the two I expect to be at the club longer and just hope MR handled himself appropriately.

If these reports are true though, it will be interesting to see how it impacts team selection. I guess that means Rooney will be straight back into the 11?

Slightly off topic but is Rooney a United legend? ;-)

A few weeks ago I read in a report that a senior player had said to Rashford to "just ignore van loony". I am away and can't find it right now. I wouldn't worry I think the players will think he is on borrowed time.

7.) 13 Apr 2016 15:19:11
MDH i read that many of the senior players talked to Rashford and comforted him on the bus ride home. Which i love to hear. Next i expect that the captain for that match (carrick? ) should be saying something to the manager about this or even rooney. Rashford seems like he has a great support system in his fellow players.

I'm done. will not be watching united until changes are made. This is a new low. If LVG isn't sacked by our FA Cup match monday, woodward should be sacked as well. Our players showed no passion or drive. i'd rather have bebe and Anderson play alone than anyone on that pitch. Pathetic.

It's hard to come up with ways to protest other than not to go / watch.

Unfortunately I missed the 2nd half due to work so I can't comment on that and how we won the match. But the fact that we went up 1-0 and then gave up that lead was a major blow to the team and you could see how we change our style of play for the rest of 1st half. I will say that the live chat was phenomenal. It was great see live reactions from regular posters and being able to have a convo instantly. Best addition to the site and thank you for that Eds. Unfortunately I think we are far from where we need to be but hopefully can build off of this. I think Blind really got some of the recognition he deserves today. He hasn't been perfect and that fact he is paying multiple/ different positions every week shows the quality he has. We've signed some fnasty can players and even a legend and future stars, but blind is type player that I respect above all others. He just gives 100% no matter what.

I love seeing LVG one step ahead of the media. I don't care who he brings in next if anyone, the way he carries himself I'm all for. Looking forward to a more composed squad tonight vs San Jose. Looking forward to see who performs so the real tinkering can begin next match.

Even if it's Rickie lambert? It's ok because lvg is handling himself well?

If the Wig doesn't make the top 11 he is surely runner up. those red cards really screwed us. also Romero in the EL needs a nod as well.
