We will get Ramos and De Gea will leave - The Juan has spoken

The Chosen Juan

1.) 21 Jul 2015 21:57:34
Juan who?

De Gea will stay, Ramos will too. Its been going on for to long now.
It would already have happened by now.

Can Juan predict the new keeper if the crystal ball you have does really work? Spill the beans then.

Also if yes, please send me your predictions for the coming season and Saturdays lotto numbers would be good too.

2.) 21 Jul 2015 23:26:05
Is juan reading tomorrow's back pages

3.) 22 Jul 2015 15:56:12
My statement still stands. Ramos in for De Gea. watch this space.

4.) 22 Jul 2015 20:23:37
Ramos stays with RM and we lose interest next year then De Gea will be gone by next summer.

Quotes from Bayern chairman Rummenigge:

'I make no secret about it that, in our conversations, it sounds like he is flattered from the interest in England, ' he told reporters.
'I talked to him during his vacation. We will meet each other, when he is back. Our plans are not finished yet. The window is open until August 31.'

Could this be why we are stalling on the Schneiderlin move? Personaly think a double swoop for Schneiderlin and Basti would give us a strong and versatile midfiled. Schneiderlin could play as a No. 6 or in a more box-to-box role.

The Chosen Juan

1.) 09 Jul 2015 17:23:46
And where does Carrick fit into all this? I really don't see the need for Schweinsteiger and it would frustrate me so much if we chose him over Schneiderlin.

2.) 09 Jul 2015 17:25:04
Why should it hold up Morgan. Sorry to sound clichéd but he is exactly what we need and his acquisition shouldn't rely on being tallied with acquiring a 30 year old player (who quite frankly has had an injury riddled season). Not having a go juan but l find this nonsensical and I've been hearing it for 2 weeks.

3.) 09 Jul 2015 18:07:45
carrick is 34 and What happens if he gets injured we end up with Fellaini in the middle. Buy Schneiderlin and Bastian along with Herrera we would then have 4 great midfielders to rotate or cover as and when.

4.) 09 Jul 2015 18:32:33
By all means let's get him especially at the quoted price but in my eyes it shouldn't be holding up the transfer of a younger box to box midfielder.

5.) 09 Jul 2015 19:12:32
Agree with every post. If it's an issue of Morgan vs. Basti, I think Morgan is a no-brainer. Makes no sense to opt for Basti (despite hie undoubted quality) when we have a younger target who could equally do the job and will serve us for years to come.

I hope that is not the case and we are swooping for both.

I have always tried to give Woodward and LVG the benefit of the doubt despite all the criticisms they have endured over time.

I cannot however, defend their activities tomorrow even if their lives depended on it. It makes no sense at all. It was one thing not strengthening our attacing and defensivve options. But a whole different story when we are talking about thinning the squad even further and selling players makes no sense at all. I don't see why Januzaj could not have stayed.I don't see why Hernandez was also sold. It is all very absurd.
We now have fewer forward options than last season, even though we are hoping to compete on all fronts. LVG and Woodward have been silly - this squad is thin and lacing firepower to compete with last years top 3. I think it will be another "could have done better" type of season before we continue with "rebuilding".

The Chosen Juan

1.) 01 Sep 2015 15:36:49
add wilson to the list if he can sort a loan by 6pm

2.) 01 Sep 2015 15:50:48
I agree and think its insane we will end up with unproven strikers again going into the new season, just like with Falcao last year, Martial is unknown and wilson was going to go on loan.

3.) 01 Sep 2015 15:58:24
Woodward needs to put on his plastic shoes , walk to Anfield on a Champions League night , and forced to stand there in the dark.

Sources say the De Gea deal was sent in a format that Madrid could not open: either they were using Windows 95 or their trial version of Winzip expired.

The Chosen Juan

1.) 01 Sep 2015 02:40:36
Winzip can never expire, never!

2.) 01 Sep 2015 03:53:32
Or in fairness, they used Linux, made a tgz and gave it a windows PC.
Madrid always create a drama.
I wish we meet Madrid in the knockouts and kick them out of the competition.

3.) 01 Sep 2015 05:40:20
no mate documents were sent in proper format, madrid even took the printouts for submission to LFP, but according to highly placed sources from madrid, rafa benitez ate those papers which led to delay. Rafa's explanation bieng madrid in their haste for de gea forgot his hourly sandwiches and papers looked tasty.

4.) 01 Sep 2015 06:22:25
I live a good conspiracy so here we go,

Isn't the next Real Madrid presidential election due in the next 12-18 months? It was being reported yesterday that 87% of real fans were unhappy with the transfer. They thought the fee was too high and that getting rid of Navas was a mistake. Add this to the unhappiness at the way casillas was pushed out the club and it could be argued that Mr my s**t don't stink Perez's popularity was on the wain.

The madridstas were also not happy bale was not disposed of.

Any chance Mr Perez intentionally messed up the deal?

Now before you all go mad, this is just a little bit of fun. Or is it. The truth is out there!

These rumours of United bidding for Bayern are now trickling in. I tend to believe rumours that come from that paper - but regardless of whether it's true or not, I wonder if Muller himself would like the move or it's a case of bayern willing to sell.

One thing I've wanted to as Eds - will clubs normally go cold turkey with bids for such high caliber players without having some belief that the player would be open to the move?

The Chosen Juan

1.) 20 Jul 2015 21:50:37
We're bidding for the entire bayern team?

2.) 20 Jul 2015 22:50:51
Maybe peps sending all the best players over before he takes the reins himself ;)

I take back everything I ever said about Ed Woodward! I don't ever remember us having such a successful window - all transfers are addressing needs in the team. Wow.

The possibility of shweinsteiger and schneiderlin in midfield is just mouthwatering to think about. Especially considering how much we have been crying for a competitive midfield. We will have all we were lacking from last season - it adds depth, Physicality, Height and experience in one swoop.

Other fans are really starting to worry!

I agree Shaw could improve a lot. Mata (if he stays) could also rediscover his Chelsea form given that our Schmidfield will be shouldering more defensive responsibility.

Agree. His technique and finishing ability was up there with the best. Really sad his career was plagued by injury. Wish him the best of luck.

Definitely think we will need one more midfiled signing to have us covered on that front. An injury to Herrera will mean we have the Fellaini hoofball show (as LVG only seems to rate mate on the right)

No disrespect to Fellaini as without him we wouldn't have secured that 4th place spot - I just find it worrying that we are one or two injuries away from being forced to play that way. It will not work all the time - esepcially against more tactically astute managers.
