Maybe just me but when I see the manager spending more time with a notebook furiously writing things down when the obvious need is to gee the players and drive (or, dare I say, MANAGE them? ) it drives me nuts.
Im thinking he is writing his autobiography because whatever is going into the folder is not doing the team any good as it stumbles from same old to same old.

My post was cut while typing but following on from it. He has been successful, no arguments, so what happened at Chelsea? League Champions one season then dropping like a brick the next. My point being that a great manager sees the problem and turns it around. he did not (hence my blame message) . It was not about finances, god knows he got plenty of that, he lost the way and could not turn it around. I think he is the type of manager needed at Man Utd but not the right person.
Its easy being a manager during the good times but the true test is when things are not going good.
Just my take on the guy.

Jose is a great manager and showman when things are going well. When things are failing, he blames everyone from the doctor to the ball boys to the press. His ego can never accept that HE might just be the one who is making mistakes. He is a big name but what makes you all think he will do a great job at United?
