{Ed002's Note - Your post was palpable nonsense and clearly you did not understand the issue at all - as you said in the first line - before spewing your ignorance over the page. I am glad you have another site to go to and I have made that possible for you.}

For a long time this period has been coming!
Everybody and his dog could see the shortcomings of our midfield, our play is so predictable a blind man could read it. We play sideways possession possession possession, until we can get a cross in. Who in our team ever dribbles past people through the middle at pace like Ronaldo used to? Januzai can go past people but not at great pace like Hazard. We are in real danger of doing a Leeds or Liverpoolif we don't make the top 4. We struggle to attract the top players when we're in the CL, but if we don't make it this year god knows how much the players we need will cost. Much as people want to stick with Moyes, I'm afraid I wouldn't. Who was it said "don't give me a skillful general, give me a lucky one" well Moyes is neither. To have got rid of so many of the back room staff was an personic decision. People say Fergie had a bad start, but at least he was a proven winner with Aberdeen before, Moyes has won nothing, and not won a game against any of the top teams with Everton, just how is he in charge of such a big club?
A penny pinching transfer policy over a long Period Is about to bite us on the backside, while every other team continues to buy quality players that we should get, we will have to settle for getting average players, and hoping upon hope we can turn them into good players with a manager brought in with that in mind.
West Ham refused to sack Avram Grant early enough and went down, if we refuse to replace Moyes now, we might not go down but we'll just be Greasing the slope. Get rid now, put Giggs in charge till the end of the season, then get Klopp, and give him the transfer kitty before Moyes Wastes it. Rant over

1.) Couldn't have put it better. You rightly said that we have brought in a lot of average players who might turn out well. Some have. But now, we have brought in an average manager and hoping he'll turn out well!
We can do that with players, but the manager has to be top quality, proven and most importantly, successful.

2.) Be careful people will be calling you a plastic fan if you mention getting rid of moyes lol by the way agree totally with te post

3.) Well the general view while Fergie was there was that the next manager after Fergie would not be the long term manager, but the next one after that might be the one.
So maybe its time to call it quits, say thanks very much for your efforts and identify the next manager to take us forward before the summer, give him a chance to get his players in.

4.) Tookers what are you talking about mate?.If you are going to slag someone off, at least get your facts right.Moyes has won games against the top clubs. We have been beat at goodison have we not?.Everton have also won at least five times at the Etihad.

Ed "greasing the slope" woodwood, needs to resign today. After the way he's conducted things this summer his position is untenable. How are we going to attract players now with most other clubs thinking we're a joke! January will see all the best players cup tied and those that are left will be snapped up by forward thinking teams. I can see us not only not finishing in the top four, but behind spurs and probably the scousers, and then it will cost even more to attract world class players. We're on a downward spiral and its frightening! One things for sure, the club will be valued a lot lower with no CL football so potential buyers of the club may start to circle again, and hopefully they'll be successful

I think the best bit of transfer business we could do is put in a bid for levy, and get rid of deadwood. It's embarrassing how easily he's getting transfers completed compared to us

It has occurred to me that we are probably not buying players until after the draw today, they are probably hoping for an easy draw so we won't need to spend big on players until January, unfortunately as we know, by then all the players we would want will be cup tied and we'll be fed the old "no value in the market" line again. The board are playing a very risky game, if we don't sign exciting players and god forbid don't finish top 4, which is possible the way all our competitors have improved their squads, the next band of youngsters around the world choosing which team to support, might not choose us. We call ourselves the biggest club in the world because of global support, but that could change with other teams marketing themselves around the world and buying all the best players. The time for spending is upon us, show the world who is the biggest club and keep attracting the next generation of supporters or regret it in 5 to 10 years time.

Syd, I don't think he'd be our anichibe, I think he'd be our Drogba! And he'd fit in nicely with our growing Belgium group.

Wait till the big company's stop with the big sponsorship deals with us as there's "no value in the market" won't be long before they see what we see, a huge lack of investment. In all jobs you need to re-invest in new equipment or lose out to your competitors, if a builders got a favourite drill that's performed really well for him (giggs/scholes/etc)but is at the of its working life, he needs to replace it with a top quality one like makita (Fabregas/ozil/mata)not a black and decker DIY one (Fellani etc) as the customer ( Chevrolet/Nike, future fans etc) who sees him using cheap inadequate tools will and choose someone else who are investing in the decent quality tools (spurs/Chelsea/city etc)
So to summise, a cheap drill may work a few times, but if you want quality, pay for it and stop penny pinching.

I would rather have nani in somewhere and give the ball away a few times and create chances and score goals, than Cleverly in there trying to be xavi or iniesta by constantly playing 2 yard passes sideways or backwards to increase his pass completion percentage, and never creating anything!

I agree, I noticed his face, he needs more games and I think moyes has seen it too, tricky! Fergie was very good at keeping all the plates spinning, let's see how moyes handles it

I posted a long time ago that fabregas wouldn't come and was stringing us along as he hates us, I said at the time did anyone remember him throwing pizza at the greatest manager that ever lived! He wanted to mess up our transfer plans for this window and thank to a mixture of niaevity and incompetence from deadwood, he got his wish.

Please don't put cleverly in an attacking role, if we get to the edge of the opposition box, he's only going to play it back to the halfway line or keeper, he's like a modern day Wilkins, and I don't mean that as a compliment
